Abstract

WHO has declared COVID-19 as a pandemic due to its rapid increase in cases outside China. COVID-19 has also affected a growing number of countries. However, the Indonesia government responded to the declaration in a not-serious manner, which has generated uncertainty circumstance among its public. This circumstance has driven people to consume information as much as they are possible to consume. This study aims to map out the trend of information-seeking concerning COVID-19 in Indonesia using Google Trends and to compare it to the information available on Indonesia's Ministry of Health official website from January until March. This study was descriptive quantitative, which used Google Trends as data collection tools. The research found that information seeking concerning COVID-19 has been increasing since the end of January. Government statements were found as the trigger of the information-seeking activity escalation and also served as the reason behind different information-seeking trends each month.

Abstract

Various accesses to information of COVID-19 can be reached through the internet. The internet, which can be used by anyone, anytime, and anywhere, pervades the boundary of people's dimensions of life, time, and space. Social media is the platform used by internet users to search for information about COVID-19. From the perspective of technological determinism, technology determines and shapes human life. This research attempts to analyze the use of social media for searching for information regarding COVID-19 and aims to comprehend the use of social media for searching for information regarding COVID-19 among Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta's students. The research is essential to map out student's behavior in searching for information regarding COVID-19. The research found that students were digital natives that used social media for searching for information about COVID-19. The students were digitally literate in using social media to search for information regarding COVID-19 by verifying information before disseminating it on their social media account.

Abstract

As a government agency that plays a central role in regulating the entire state budget and revenue (APBN), the Ministry of Finance needs public support and trust. Therefore, it is necessary to disseminate all government information to the public. One way that can be done is the use of social media as a platform in conveying information to the public. Through research using the constructivist paradigm with a qualitative approach and descriptive content analysis, it is expected to illustrate how the Ministry of Finance optimizes the advantages of each social media platform to disseminate government information to the public. The results of this study are presented in the form of strategies for optimally utilizing social media so that they can be an example for various ministries and other government agencies to support the success of the country's current goal of becoming an Advanced Indonesia.

Abstract

This research was conducted based on the absence of an adequate accounting information system (AIS) that can be applied to the Regional Public Service Agency (BLUD) on Jakarta Provincial Government and integrated with budget planning, asset, and inventory information system. This fact is supported by the Indonesian Supreme Audit Institution (BPK) report (2016) that states the existing AIS does not provide complete reporting features, and as a consequence, the stages of preparing financial statements are still done manually.This research is expected to help identify information system needs, as well as provide logical model designs of AIS as a part of Integrated Financial Reporting and Management Information System (iFRAMES) that are graphically described in data flow diagrams.This research use case study with data triangulation approach, including interviews and document review. Contingency Theory and PIECES Framework are used in analyzing organizational needs for AIS and using the Framework for the Application of System Thinking (FAST) developed by Whitten and Bentley (2007) as a basis for systems development method theory. This study found that the absence of an adequate AIS has the potential to cause various things, including incomplete accounting cycle, increasing the risk of error in recording and classifying account.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of commitment of organization, competence of village fund management officers, and utilization of information technology on accaountability of village financial management  either partially or simultaneously.The data used in the study are primary data in the form of questionnaires with a total sample of 96 respondents. The method used is a quantitative approach and multiple linear regression analysis which determined by purposive sampling method. The findings from this research indicate that (1) partially commitment of organization, competence of village fund management officers and utilization of information technology  has a positive effect and significant impact on the accountability of village financial management (2) commitment of organization, competence of village fund management officers and utilization of information technology  has simultaneous effect on the  accountability of village financial management.

Abstract

Information Dashboard Executive (INDEX) is a visual representation of data in the form of dashboards that are used to get a snapshot of performance in every business process so as to facilitate the executives took a quick response. Pentaho is a BI application is free open source software (FOSS) and runs on top of the Java platform. QlikView is focused on simplifying decision making for business users across the organization. Processing needs to be able to optimize data analysis functions of PDPT is developing an interactive dashboard visualization data. The dashboard will be built using the data pentaho integration as a gateway connecting between database applications with Data PDPT and data visualization are developed by using QlikView. Software development methodologies in application development work is incremental method which is a combination of linear and iterative method with parallel modifications in the process the iterative process so that the project done faster.The results of this study are is the data representation of the modeling query is constructed able to describe the activity / student profiles in a certain semester. The data representations constructed include active distribution per class, per student graduation force distribution, distribution of student status, distribution provinces of origin of students per class, the distribution of the number of class participants, distribution of credits lecturers and distribution of subject.

Abstract

The adoption of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in the integratedconcept has already became a need to the company or organization that is willing to gaincompetitive advantages as a competitive weapon. However, this adoption is not always smoothbecause of facing challenges. One of the bigest challenge in adopting ICT is the readiness ofICT users. The users’ unreadiness will create resistence toward ICT and further impact will failICT adoption itself. Moreover, it can create inharmony environment in the company ororganization.The purpose of this research is also to evaluate the technology readiness of theusers in the process of adopting ICT in economic field in Finance Directory UGM, estimatedfrom the positive and negative belief of the users toward the technology with adopting methodTRI. The result of this research shows that generally, the readiness of SI users in FinanceDirectory UGM is in medium level, eventhough the users tend to have no comfort feeling andhigh discomfort feeling toward technology users.Keywords: technology readiness, technology adoption

Abstract

This research is aimed to examine and find out empirical evidence of the information technology relatedness and management control systems on company performance. The data are collected using total sampling method.The analysis of this research employs multiple regression. The sample in this study are all banking branch office in the city of Padang by the number of samples analyzed a total of 18 samples of the 25 samples studied. Research disseminated through questionnaires. Result show that Information Technology Relatedness have not significant effect on company performance and management control systems have significant effect on company Performance.Keyword: information technology relatedness, management control system, company performance..

Abstract

Currently, IT devices, especially mobile phone and notebook, have become a staple for humans. These devices can’t be separated from human activities. Mobile phone or notebook using those are too often can lead people to conduct any charging process when that device is being used. In general, there are three conditions for any devices when the charging process is being performed, such as: off, standby, and normal use (music on). This research objective is to compare the result on conducted emis- sion testing when mobile phone and notebook at the plugging charge for the conditions: off, stand by, and normal use (music on). Testing method refers to CISPR 22 Standards at Clause Mains Terminal Disturbance Voltage. Testing result for mobile phone and notebook show that all of testing sample perform conducted emission value with quasi peak value meet the requirement of CISPR 22. The amount of 80% testing sample, perform the highest quasipeak margin value when the off condition of devices.

Abstract

This paper describes Challenges in implementing Information and Documentation Management Officials byPublic Agencies in Surabaya. The methodology of the research is qualitative research with interpretative-narrativeanalysis based on in depth interview, focus group discussion, and secondary data. The result of this research isthere are two obstacles in implementing Information and Documentation Management Officials by Public Agenciesin Surabaya, which are SOP and Perception challenges.
