Abstract

This research aims to develop a web-based library information system at Prabhudy Pwki Elementary School. Currently, SDS Prabhudy Pwki faces problems in managing library data using manual methods that are less effective and prone to errors in data processing, frequent data redundancies, and data loss. The method used to develop a web-based library information system in this research is the waterfall method. The tool used in building a web-based library information system in this study is the PHP programming language: Hypertext Preprocessor and MySQL database. The results of this study concluded that the web-based library information system developed in this study can solve the problems faced by the library staff at SDS Prabhudy Pwki when still using manual methods in managing book data, member data, book borrowing data, and book return data. In addition, this research is also expected to be an accurate reference for further researchers who discuss the development of web-based library information systems in other research sites..

Abstract

Menurut undang-undang nomor 43 tahun 2007 tentang perpustakaan, Perpustakaan adalah institusi pengelola koleksi karya tulis, karya cetak, dan karya rekam secara profesional dengan sistem yang baku guna memenuhi kebutuhan pendidikan, penelitian, pelestarian, informasi, dan rekreasi para pemustaka. Seiring perkembangan teknologi yang saat ini sangat berkembang dengan cepat kini ada sistem yang dapat mempermudah untuk mengelola perpustakaan. Namun, perpustakaan di SMKN 2 Banjarmasin pengelolaannya masih menggunakan cara manual, kurang baik, dan tidak terkontrol. Berdasarkan hal tersebut, maka diperlukanlah pembangunan dan perancangan sistem informasi perpustakaan di SMKN 2 Banjarmasin, agar pegawai di perpustakaan tersebut lebih mudah dalam mengelola pendataan buku, anggota, peminjaman buku, pengembalian buku, dan denda di perpustakaan SMKN 2 Banjarmasin. Dalam perancangan menggunakan metode SDLC (System Development Life Cycle) atau dalam bahasa indonesia disebut dengan siklus hidup pengembangan sistem. Adapun untuk tahap-tahap dari metode SDLC yaitu tahap perencanaan, analisis, perancangan, implementasi, testing dan integrasi, pemeliharaan atau perawatan. Sistem Informasi Perpustakaan SMKN 2 Banjarmasin ini telah berhasil dirancang dan dibangun dengan baik untuk mempermudah pihak sekolah dalam melakukan pengelolaan pendataan buku, peminjaman buku, pengembalian buku serta denda di perpustakaan SMKN 2 Banjarmasin.

Abstract

The information system is crucial for business processes in all fields, including education. A library at SMK Negeri 1 Jawai, Sambas Regency, currently manages its data, borrowing, and book return processes manually, using physical records and writing tools. With such management, the library faces various challenges. Common issues include students having difficulty tracking borrowed books, problems with lost returns, and discrepancies in the number of loans and returns. Therefore, this research aims to improve business processes at SMK Negeri 1 Jawai's library by developing a web-based information system tailored to its needs. Rapid Application Development was chosen as the development method for this library information system due to its ability to quickly produce a high-quality system. The method involves stages such as requirement planning, system design, and implementation. RAD is capable of creating a website that provides objective information. The resulting Information System from this research was tested using Blackbox Testing, which confirmed that all features and processing flows functioned correctly.

Abstract

Teknologi informasi berperan penting dalam meningkatkan efisiensi pengelolaan data di berbagai bidang, termasuk di Perpustakaan museum negeri Nusa Tenggara Barat (NTB), yang saat ini pencatatan masih dilakukan secara konvensional untuk data pengunjung. Dalam merancang dan membangun sistem informasi buku tamu perpustaan Museum Negeri NTB digunakan dengan metode pengembangan metode Waterfall. dimana dalam merancang sistem ini dibuat desain sistem berupa usecase diagram dan activity diagram. Pengujian sistem dilakukan dengan metode system usability scale dimana terdapat 10 pertanyaan yang diajukan kepada responden dan mendapat nilai akhir sebesar 92.5 sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa Sistem Informasi Buku Tamu Perpustakaan Museum NTB dapat di terima dengan baik oleh responden.

Abstract

The design of a digital library information system involves creating a framework and infrastructure that enables efficient management and access of library information through digital platforms. Problems that are often faced by libraries are related to challenges in keeping up with the development of information technology, as well as facing competition with digital information sources available online. This stage of design includes identifying user needs, mapping library business processes, selecting appropriate technologies, and developing intuitive interfaces for users. In addition, the design also includes a database structure for storing collection information, integration with library management systems, and the implementation of features such as search, borrowing, returning, and user account management. With careful design, digital library information systems can improve the accessibility and quality of library services for users as a whole. The results of system testing using blackbox testing show results of 100% that the system has successfully passed all well. This indicates that the system has met all established functional specifications, provided appropriate responses to various inputs, and met quality standards and user needs. This conclusion provides confidence that the system is ready for implementation and use by end users, with a high level of reliability and minimal risk of errors.

Abstract

SMP Negeri 1 Anjatan is a junior high school located in Anjatan Indramayu Regency. To make it easier for Library Officers to manage libraries, a library information system is needed. the Information System created includes: attendance visits, management of borrowing and returning books, and the process of managing book collections.An information system is a collection of elements interconnected with each other that form a single whole for integrating data, processing and storing and distributing information. Library Information System is a system that exists in an organization that meets the needs of daily data processing, supporting activities in data storage, and providing certain outside parties with the necessary reports. The method used in the development of this library information system using SDLC with RAD model. Stages in the RAD method are requirement planning, user design, constructions, and cutover. Making this information system using PHP Programming Language, HTML, CSS. Using Visual Studio Code as note editor, in the implementation of data base using local server from MySQL.Questionnaires that will be used for prototype testers at the user design stage and the results of contructions are SUS (System Usability Scale) and blackbox testing. Where SUS to measure the Usability of Information Systems and use Black box testing to measure functional suitability.The results of SUS prototype testing included in the good category and acceptability ranges included in the acceptable category. The results of black box testing, all questions on the questionnaire were successful, which means the score of the black box testing is 100%. Based on testing, the Library Information System can be said to be feasible to use.

Abstract

The library service process at La-Tahzan Vocational School is still manual, such as data collection and recording written on paper media and not yet managed using an application system. This causes the member registration process to be slow, the process of collecting data on books, the process of borrowing and returning books and making reports is carried out by recording in a special book so that obtaining data and information takes a long time. The solution to overcome this problem is to build a website-based library information system. System development uses the System Development Life Cycle method with the waterfall model. Data collection methods were carried out by observation, interviews and literature study. This information system helps library staff in speeding up the member registration process, the book data collection process, the book search process, the process of borrowing and returning books and the process of making reports.

Abstract

Library digitalization has become increasingly important in the era of information technology development. Digitalization enables libraries to provide easier and more efficient access to various information sources. This study proposes to design and construct an online e-catalog information system for the Nusa Tenggara Barat State Museum Library, which currently relies on manual book searches. The waterfall model was the software development methodology utilized in this study. This research is designed to facilitate library data management and assist visitors in finding the books they need. The implementation of this system includes features such as sign-in, dashboard, profile, services, and catalog. The testing results demonstrate that the system is intuitive, offers comprehensive information, and all functionalities function as intended. In conclusion, this e-catalog information system successfully improves the effectiveness of library services and simplifies book data management.

Abstract

Abstract

Di era kurikulum merdeka saat ini perpustakaan merupakan fasilitas wajib yang ada disekolah untuk membantu guru dan siswa belajar. Sumber referensi pembelajaran yang digunakan di sekolah dapat dengan mudah didapatkan di perpustakaan. Dalam pengelolaan data perpustakaan pada Yayasan Ibnu Salam masih menggunakan cara konvensional, yakni proses bisnisnya dicatat dalam buku catatan. Pencarian data buku pada perpustakaan pun harus melihat katalog buku pada arsip data buku. Hal ini tentu saja sangat tidak efektif dan efisien dalam pengelolaan data. Selain itu, resiko data hilang dan tercecer dapat menyulitkan staf perpustakaan dalam pembuatan laporan bulanan. Penelitian ini bertujuan membangun aplikasi perpustakaan berbasis website untuk membantu civitas sekolah khususnya staf perpustakaan mengatur tata kelola data buku dan proses peminjaman dan pengembalian buku. Metode yang digunakan dalam rancang bangun sistem informasi perpustakaan menggunakan metode Rapid Application Development (RAD) yang memiliki tahapan requirement planning, design workshop, dan implementation. Untuk metode pengumpulan datanya melakukan observasi, wawancara dan studi literature. Hasil penelitian ini, Sistem Informasi Perpustakaan Ibnu Salam School (SiPus Salam) sebuah aplikasi perpustakaan berbasis website yang meliputi pengelolaan data master yang terdiri dari data buku dan user, kemudian data transaksi yang meliputi peminjaman dan pengembalian buku, serta pembuatan laporan buku, anggota dan transaksi peminjaman dan pengembalian buku. Dengan adanya website ini dapat memberikan solusi atas permasalahan yang ada pada proses sistem berjalan di perpustakaan Yayasan Ibnu Salam.
