Abstract

The paper plans to study the job of Information Management (IM) utilizing Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in advanced education by leading writing survey and arrangement of articles from 2000 to 2012 so as to investigate how IM advances and applications have been created right now. The development of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) in the most recent decade has opened new roads in Information Management that could assume significant jobs in meeting the overall provokes identified with sharing, trading and scattering information and advances in the advanced education. This paper gives an elevated level diagram of IM utilizing Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in advanced education. A basic examination is finished by considering endeavors made by experts to actualize IM utilizing ICT in advanced education.

Abstract

Management Information Systems is an essential factor in the existing world. The goals of the study to create eagerness for the usage of MIS in every sector in all activities for the betterment of condition. In this paper, we have tried to existing fundamental associated subjects of MIS (that ability literature assessment and it consists of about MIS, Computer software, DBMS, telecommunication and networking), objectives, beneficiary persons, way of finding information, corporation assessment (it consists of historical background, company overview, practices of MIS in this organization), MIS practices and challenges in Bangladesh and ultimately providing likely recommendation.

Abstract

The feasibility of infrastructure to determine the level and feasibility of Information Technology Vocational Schools in Palembang City. Based on research according to Permendiknas No. 40 of 2008 contains computer laboratory furniture, including: the ratio of the number of student chairs and desks, the ratio of the number of teacher chairs, computer equipment, and educational media. This research methodology uses quantitative methods, where the data collection method is obtained from a questionnaire of information users as respondents. Data analysis used SPSS version 20 for data processing. The analysis results obtained according to Permendiknas No. 40 of 2008 and referring to O'Brien's theory, namely as follows: SMK Negeri 1, SMK Negeri 2, SMK Negeri 3, SMK Negeri 4, and SMK Negeri 5 Palembang, the achievement in the category is less feasible, namely with an average percentage of 5.6% , while 27.77% with a decent category achievement and 66.7 with very decent category.

Abstract

The development of Information Technology nowadays has caused a shif in a corporate’s standard of effectiveness and it has become a compulsory for its development. The new standard is in line with the need of information that is easy to get and efficiently. PT. XYZ is a national private company engaging in telecommunication network business, and focused on equipment supplying and telecommunication service based on Very Small Apperture Terminal (VSAT). In order to organize the project, PT. XYZ currently has not used the full information system. By using a Dashboard Management Information System, it is expected to help corporate’s to achieve an activity mechanism that is more effective and controlled that enables them to be implemented to ease the monitoring, managing the current project so that it can be well-organized.

Abstract

This research aims at describing the process of services implementation through village information system based web and the villagers’ satisfaction from the aspects of satisfaction standardization. The method of the research was qualitative with hermeneutic phenomenology approach. It would see the texts of villagers’ life and experiences in using Village Information System Services. The data were analyzed by using the van kaam model. It was found that service satisfaction of the village information system in the context of individual experience identified from the staffs’ attitude, information, delivery, internal manager’s role, and time service accuracy. Based on the finding, it is recommended for further researcher to conduct a study about service implementation as well as e-government. The weakness of this research is that the researcher conducted it in a short time asking the individual’s experiences about the village service information system implementation.

Abstract

The performance of the Sungai Bawang Village Government in the Village Information System program can be seen from the implementation process. This study focuses on the performance of the Sungai Bawang village government in the Village Information System Program in order to realize the vision and mission of Kuantan Singingi Regency. But the realization in the field that the performance of the Sungai Bawang village government in the Village Information System program did not have a significant impact. In terms of productivity indicators, after the implementation of the Village Information System program the performance of the Sungai Bawang Village Government did not change significantly. Indicators of service quality, the quality of services received by the community before and after the implementation of the Village Information System program have no real impact, because the services provided are still the same, still not based on online information technology. Indicator of responsiveness can be seen that third parties are not committed to the agreed work contract agreement. Responsibility Indicator, the standard used as a reference in implementing the Village Information System program is Kuantan Singingi District Regulations No. 57 of 2017 concerning Village Information Systems and their derivatives namely Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for Village Information Systems. Accountability indicators, there is an element of political interest in the Village Information System program. The purpose of this study was to determine the performance of the Sungai Bawang village government in the implementation of the Village Information System program and its inhibiting factors. The research method uses qualitative by emphasizing the concept of performance measurement. The techniques used in collecting data are observation, interviews, documentation, and literature. The results showed that the performance of the Sungai Bawang village government was still not optimal. The inhibiting factor is the non-commitment of the third party in carrying out the responsibility, the Village Information System program is influenced by the political interests of certain groups so that the Village Information System program does not run as contained in Kuantan Singingi No. 57 of 2017 concerning Village Information Systems.

Abstract

ABSTRAKPengaruh Strategi Pembelajaran Information Search Terhadap Kemampuan Menulis Teks Eksplanasi Kompleks Siswa Kelas XI SMK PGRI 2 Palembang. Rumusan Masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah apakah terdapat pengaruh strategi pembelajaran Information Search terhadap kemampuan menulis teks eksplanasi kompleks kelas XI SMK PGRI 2 Palembang. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat pengaruh strategi Information Search terhadap kemampuan menulis teks eksplanasi kompleks kelas XI SMK PGRI 2 Palembang Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode eksperimen One-Grup Postest Design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI SMK PGRI 2 Palembangyang terdiri dari 3 kelas. Teknik pengumpulan data yang dilakukan dengan menggunakan tes dan wawancara. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji normalitas, uji homogenitas dan uji hipotesis. Dari hasil perhitungan statistik uji-t dua pihak, diperoleh t hitung = 3,56 dan t tabel dengan taraf signifikan 0,05 % dengan diperoleh t tabel = 1,68. Demikian, ternyata t hitung  >t tabel (1-α) (3,56 > 1,68). Maka, hipotesis tentang ada  pengaruh yang signifikan dengan menggunakan strategi pembelajaran Information Search terhadap kemampuan menulis teks eksplanasi kompleks siswa kelas XI SMK PGRI 2 Palembang” Ha diterima. Hal tersebut menunjukkan adanya pengaruh strategi pembelajaran information search terhadap kemampuan menulis teks eksplanasi kompleks siswa kelas XI SMK PGRI 2 Palembang

Abstract

Background: The hospital management information system (HMIS) is a computer system that processes entire health care business processes, including reporting and administrative procedures, to obtain information quickly, precisely, and accurately. The Wonosari Regional Hospital is a type B hospital that has implemented the HMIS. This study aimed to analyse the HMIS use in the Wonosari Regional Hospital, Gunungkidul, Yogyakarta.Methods: This is a quantitative study using a cross sectional design. Seventy-nine staffs participated in this study that recruited using the purposive sampling technique. Data were collected using a pre-tested questionnaire, then analysed statistically.Results: Perceived ease of use was found significant (p-value ≤ 0.05) associated with HMIS use.Conclusions: Perceived ease of use influenced the use of HMIS at the Wonosari Regional Hospital, Gunungkidul, Yogyakarta.

Abstract

Abstrak To date, the FIR over Batam, Tanjungpinang, and Natuna areas are still under Singapore control. The three areas in the Riau Islands Province (Kepri) were entered into the air space of block ABC. The impacts, flight activities at Hang Nadim Airport Batam and the airports included in the ABC block must wait for the notice of take-off clearance other than Air Traffic Control (ATC) Batam, also from ATC Singapore. It means that the flight was carried out on the ABC block by Indonesian aircraft, both civilian and military air planes have to be licensed from Singapore. This led to Indonesia not getting income from ATC, nor sovereign over its air. Various efforts have been made to support the government's plan to take over the management of FIR over Batam, Tanjungpinang, and Natuna of Singapore, even the takeover has been mandated in article 458 of Law No. 1 of 2009 on flights stating that the air area of the Republic of Indonesia, whose flight navigation service is delegated to other countries based on the agreement must be evaluated and served by the service provider of navigation services at the latest 15 (fifteen) years since the Act applies. Based on the law, Indonesia's foreign controlled air space must be in the control of Indonesia at the latest in 2024. Keyword: acquisition of FIR Indonesia from Singapore.

Abstract

This study analyses defamation via social media towards Flaurence Saulina Sihombing case. The study raises the elements of contempt in Law Number 11 of 2008 which was converted into Law Number 19 of 2016 con Electronic Information and Transactions (EIT) and compare it with the humiliation under the Criminal Code. The purpose of this study was to determine whether the prosecution on Florence Saulina Sihombing meet the elements of contempt in accordance with the prohibited stipulation under Article 27 paragraph (3) Electronic Information and Transactions Law. This research using normative juridical approach. The source of the data is secondary data source that the data obtained from the literature by studying three legal materials, namely: primary legal materials, secondary legal materials, tertiary legal materials that will be classified and systematized. The conclusion shows that the case Flaurence Saulina Sihombing meet a subjective element in the form of intentionally actions. This actions undertaken by Florence met the element strike action. The object in the form of honour based on Article 27 Law Number 11 of 2008 which was converted into Law Number 19 of 2016 on Electronic Information and Transactions (EIT). The writer tends to confirmly agree with the Yogyakarta District Court via Decision Number 382/Pid.B/2014/PN Yyk of 2015.
