Abstract

Automated information retrieval and servicing systems are a priority demand system in today's businesses to ensure instantaneous customer satisfaction. The chatbot system is an incredible technological application that enables communication channels to automatically respond to end-users in real-time and 24 hours a day. By providing effective services for retrieving information and electronic documents continuously and automating the information service system, the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) is challenging to promote graduate school programs, update news, and retrieve student information in this era. This article discusses automated information retrieval and services based on the architecture, components, technology, and experiment of chatbots. The chatbot system's primary functions are to deliver the course and contact information, answer frequency questions, and provide a link menu to apply for our online course platform. We manage the entire functional process of gathering course information and submitting an application for a course online. The final results compare end users' perceptions of chatbot system usage to onsite services to ensure that the chatbot system can be integrated into the university's information system, supporting university-related questions and answers. We may expand our chatbot system's connection to the university's server to provide information services to students in various informative areas for future research.

Abstract

Named data networking (NDN) is a network service evolving the Internet's host-based packet delivery model. The idea of NDN is to use named data for routing, which specifies what they are looking for, instead of using location addresses that determine where they expect it to be provided. This architecture is expected to solve many issues that are currently faced by transmission control protocol/internet protocol (TCP/IP) architecture, such as scalability, robustness, mobility, security, and etcetera. One of the problems is about handling producer mobility. Considering the explosion growth rate of Internet connection in public transport vehicles, this is a challenge that needs to be overcome. Therefore, we have proposed a new scheme called route optimization management of producer mobility (ROM-P) with new features such as distributing anchor points and caching by using the same data name and com-paring our previous scheme, efficient producer mobility support (EPMS). This paper shows the analysis result between the ROM-P and EPMS by using simulation. All simulations were conducted using ndnSIM 2.4 NS-3 based. Throughout the simulation ROM-P shows a promising development in better performing compares to EPMS.

Abstract

Indonesia's land-use and land-cover change (LULCC) is a global concern. The relocation plan of the capital city of Indonesia to East Kalimantan will be becoming an environmental issue. Knowing the latest land cover change modeling and prediction research is essential for fundamental knowledge in spatial planning and policies for regional development. Five articles related to integrated technology of geographic information systems (GIS) and remote sensing for spatial modeling were reviewed and compared using nine variables: title, journal (ranks), keywords, objectives, data sources, variables, location, method, and main findings. The results show that the variables that significantly affect LULCC are height, slope, distance from the road, and distance from the built-up area. The artificial neural network-based cellular automata (ANN-CA) method could be the best approach to model the LULCC. Furthermore, by the current availability of global multi-temporal and multi-sensor remote sensing data, the LULCC modeling study can be limitless

Abstract

Nowadays society, economy, and critical infrastructures have become principally dependent on computers, networks, and information technology solutions, on the other side, cyber-attacks are becoming more sophisticated and thus presenting increasing challenges in accurately detecting intrusions. Failure to prevent intrusions could compromise data integrity, confidentiality, and availability. Different detection methods are proposed to tackle computer security threats, which can be broadly classified into anomaly-based intrusion detection systems (AIDS) and signature-based intrusion detection systems (SIDS). One of the most preferred AIDS mechanisms is the machine learning-based approach which provides the most relevant results ever, but it still suffers from disadvantages like unrepresentative dataset, indeed, most of them were collected during a limited period of time, in some specific networks and mostly don't contain up-to-date data. Additionally, they are imbalanced and do not hold sufficient data for all types of attacks, especially new attack types. For this reason, up-to-date datasets such as information security and object technology-cloud intrusion dataset (ISOT-CID) are very convenient to train predictive models on a cloud-based intrusion detection approach. The dataset has been collected over a sufficiently long period and involves several hours of attack data, culminating into a few terabytes. It is large and diverse enough to accommodate machine-learning studies.

Abstract

Adolescence is a period of searching for identity that requires information on reproductive health and sexuality so as not to fall into premarital sexual behavior. Parents play an important role in providing reproductive health information to adolescents, but parents are often reluctant to provide this information due to lack of support, and lack of confidence in providing reproductive health information. The purpose of this study was to determine the most influential factors between partner support, perceived barriers, and self-confidence in adolescent reproductive health education. The research method used analytical observation with a cross sectional approach which was conducted online in June-August 2020 to 300 parents who have teenagers aged 15-19 years in Surakarta. The sampling technique is Double Sampling using a self-confidence, partner support, perceived barriers and behavior in providing reproductive health information questionnaire that has been tested for validity. Bivariate analysis was performed using chi square and multivariate analysis was performed using logistic regression test. The results showed that parents' self-confidence was the most influential factor in reproductive health education for adolescents (OR=3.052, CI=1.534-6.071). Parents who have low self-confidence tend not to provide comprehensive reproductive health information to adolescents. Lack of skills to explain the topic of sexuality to teenagers is one of the things that affects parents' self-confidence. The lack of knowledge of the material that will be given and the shame when conveying sexuality material also affects the self-confidence of the parents. Training efforts are needed for parents on how to provide information on reproductive health to adolescents.
