Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of outdoor learning on the attitude of environmental care for students of Geography Education in STKIP Ahlussunah Bukittinggi. This research is an experiment to assess the effect of the educational approach on student’s attitudes and behavior before and after the treatment being given. Referred to the homogeneity test on students' cognitive ability result, it can be concluded that the characters of the subject research were homogeneous. The determination of the experimental and the control class could be done by using a random method. The result of the study shows that the implementation of the outdoor learning can improve student’s awareness toward the environment. It is detected by the significant difference of the tests results between the control class and the experimental class. The using of outdoor class approach is proven to enhance the quality of students’ attitudes in environmental learning material, because it motivates students during the learning process

Abstract

This research is distributed-because there is some mathematical learning objectives have not been achieved one of mathematical communication ability. One of the factors the lack of mathematical communication skills, students are just listening to the teacher's explanation, then record and finish the matter practice. This, resulting in students ' knowledge and understanding of the information provided is limited to the teacher. An effort to do that is by applying Model Eliciting Activities (MEAs). The purpose of this research is to find out whether the mathematical communication skills of students by using Model Eliciting Activities (MEAs) better than mathematical communication skills of students by using conventional learning class XI IPS MAN 4 West Pasaman Barat. This type of research was quasi Experimental research. Sampling is done using Random Sampling techniques so that selected as experimental class is grade XI IPS 1 and as the control class is the grade XI IPS 2. Data analysis was performed using t-test with α = 0.05 level obtained thitung= and ttabel = 1,669 so > This berarti deny thus, it can be concluded that the mathematical communication skills of students by using Model Eliciting Activities (MEAs) better than mathematical communication skills of students using learning conventional in class XI IPS MAN 4 West Pasaman Barat

Abstract

he development of information and communication technology with educational institutions to be able to adapt both in management and learning process, so that there is effectiveness and efficiency in achieving educational goals.The aims of this study is to reveal the use of information and communication technology in managing schools in Sumenep 1 High School by using a phenomenological qualitative approach. The results show that the use of information and communication technology can be grouped into two, namely applications developed by the provincial government and applications developed by the school itself. The obstacles faced in the use of information and communication technology are limited to the lack of technology management personnel and limited facilities and infrastructure.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to know the benefits of using media in learning and teaching process for students in university, especially at STKIP Ahlussunnah Buktitinggi. This research used qualitative research and descriptive method. The result of this research explained that using media in learning and teaching process for students in university is very useful. The media distributed information from the informant (lecturer) to the receiver (student). Media in learning and teaching process as message deliverer technology (information) could use to teaching needs or physic tool to deliver learning subject. From this research was found that the benefits of media were to make the interaction between lecturer and students went smoothly and to help the students learned optimally.

Abstract

Carry out or manage learning about statistics is required is the liveliness of the teachers (educators) in creating and fostering activities of students (learners) learning in accordance with the plans that have been drawn up in planning (Sudjana, 2013). This research aims to know the influence of the drill method against an increase in the ability of students in the course statistics in Prima STIKes Nusantara Bukittinggi year 2018. This type of research is research experiments with design wants a Pre (Pre-Experimental Design) and design that is One Group Pre Test Post Test. Population in this study are all students Nusantara STIKes Prima registered in 2017-2018 teaching that takes eyes College statistics. The sample in this study i.e., the entire population was made a subject of research i.e. 55 students. Univariate analysis showed that the average value of Pre Test amounted to 60.82 and average value of Post Test of 78.76. Whereas, bivariat use test t-Test Dependent. Obtained results that the drill method to increase the ability of students in the course statistics in Prima STIKes Nusantara Bukittinggi year 2018 with p < 0.05 (0.0001). Therefore, it is recommended to educational institutions so that it can use this drill method can be applied in the process of learning as one of the effective methods for statistics courses

Abstract

This study started from the low quality of education, especially in SDN 014 / XI Pelayang Raya District Sungai Bungkal Sungai Penuh River. The purpose of this research is to know the application of principal clinical supervision at SDN 014 / XI Pelayang Raya Kecamatan Sungai Bungkal to improve teacher quality in learning process Year 2016/2017.The subjects in this study were Teachers SDN 014 / XI Pelayang Raya Kecamatan Sungai Bungkal which is where the researcher served as head of school year 2016/2017. Action is implemented in 3 cycles. Activity is carried out in even semester of academic year 2016/2017. Duration of 6 weeks effective study conducted from 5 September to 17 October 2016. In the implementation of the action, the design is done in 3 cycles that include; (1) planning, (2) action, (3) observation, (4) reflection. In the data collection techniques used are to use observations and questionnaires. Based on the results of the above research, improving the quality of teachers in the learning process, through the guidance of clinical supervision is very good result. This was apparent at the first meeting of the 11 teachers who were present at the time of the study; 67.73% increased to 71.27% and in cycle 3 increased to 75.91%. Based on the Ministerial Regulation No. 12 of 2007 on the competence of teachers and principals, and can make school work plans, and can organize schools towards the desired changes reach 85% achievement, then the clinical supervision is said to be effective. Thus the hypothesis proposed above is acceptable

Abstract

his study originated from lack of enthusiasm following learning, less satisfactory learning outcomes, most students get grades below the minimum learning mastery standard. This study aims To improve learning outcomes about the solar system in grade 6 students SDN 025 / XI Gedang Village through the implementation of demonstration methods using audio visual media. Subjects in this study were students of grade 6 SDN 025 / XI Desa Gedang with the material of Solar System. The implementation of the improvement consists of two cycles where each cycle is held twice. Place of Action Class Action research that is at SDN 025 / XI Gedang Village Sungai Penuh Full River City. In each cycle is divided into four stages, namely: Planning, Implementation of action, Observation and Evaluation, and Reflection. The data required in this study were obtained through observation of learning processing by demonstration method, observation of student and teacher activity, and formative test. The result of class action research using two cycle pattern, it can test the hypothesis of action proposed in this research. The result shows that in cycle II the classical has reached the completeness of the expected learning result, because the student who get the value of ≥ 70 is only 90% bigger than the percentage of desired completeness that is equal to 85%. The use of demonstration methods and audio visual media tailored to the teaching materials can help students to more easily understand the learning materials presented in appeal using only the lecture method only

Abstract

This research starts from the low student learning outcomes which is reflected in the value of 52.38% the average daily students are below the minimum completeness of learning that is 70. The purpose of this study is to improve student learning outcomes in the material of Regional Autonomy through the application of Contextual Teaching and Learning for students of class IX-B in semester I of Junior High School 5 Kerinci academic year 2017/2018. Subjects in this study were students of class IX-B Kerinci Senior High School 5 Kerinci Regency with a total of 21 students, 5 male students and 16 female students. This research was carried out in two cycles, where each cycle was held two meetings with 4 stages of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection analysis. Data analysis techniques in PTK are descriptive analytical. The results of classroom action research using a two-cycle pattern, apparently can test the action hypothesis proposed in this study. The results are; the results of the learning evaluation in the first cycle which only reached an average score of 72.47 increased in the second cycle which reached 75.86. In the second cycle students have achieved the expected mastery of learning that is 90.48% compared to the first cycle which is only 66.67%. This means that at the end of the second cycle all target criteria can be met, therefore the submitted can be accepted

Abstract

This research is based on the existence of teaching materials that are not in accordance with the demands of basic competencies (KD) in the applicable curriculum, the teaching materials used do not contain the stages of writing and teaching materials also do not use appropriate strategies in learning to write instruction. The aim to be achieved in the development of this material is to produce valid, practical and effective instructional materials for written instruction. This type of research is a development research that uses a 4-D model consisting of four phases: defining (defining), design (design), development (developing), and distribution (spread). Test the validity of the research obtained through materialized lesson plans, assessment of teacher responses and assessment of students' responses. see the effectiveness of activities, the assessment process and the results of written instructions. The results showed that learning to write instruction based on the MP PKB learning model improved thinking skills to help students understand the stages of the instruction writing process. Based on these results, it was concluded that the teaching materials for writing instruction based on the improved learning model of thinking ability for fourth grade students developed could be considered valid, practical, and effective.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of teacher professional competence, work motivation and work discipline both individually and jointly on teacher performance at Budi Mulia Padang IT Middle School. The subjects of this study were all teachers at Budi Mulia Padang Junior High School 32 people. This study includes ex-post facto research. Data retrieval method uses a Likert scale model questionnaire for variable Teacher Professional Competence, Work Motivation and Work Discipline, while the Teacher Performance variable uses a questionnaire method, and documentation from the Principal. Data analysis techniques used to test hypotheses are regression analysis techniques. The results showed that (1) there was a significant influence of the teacher's professional competence on teacher performance at Budi Mulia Padang Junior High School as evidenced by Fcount <Ftable (2,026 <4,22), (2) there was a significant influence on work motivation on performance Teachers at SMP Mulia Budi IT Padang as evidenced by: Fcount <Ftable (2,451 <4,22), (3) there is a significant influence of work discipline on the performance of teachers at Budi Mulia Padang IT SMP as evidenced by: Fhitung > Ftable (17,141> 4,22); the contribution of work discipline to the teacher's performance is 39.73%; (4) there is a significant influence of teacher professional competence, work motivation and work discipline together on the performance of teachers in Budi Mulia Padang Junior High School as evidenced by: Fcount> Ftable (5,832> 3,01); the contribution of teachers' professional competence, work motivation and work discipline together on teacher performance is 42.16%.
