Abstract

Awareness of motor vehicle taxpayers can increase regional income; therefore, it is necessary to analyze a method to see the magnitude of the influence of taxpayer factors. Traffic accidents, the number of motorized vehicles, the number of workers, and the number of violation cases that occur are factors applied to quantile regression in this study. The research was carried out by collecting secondary data at BPS Blitar City in 2012–2021 regarding the number of traffic accidents, the number of motorized vehicles, the number of employees, and the number of cases of violations that occurred. Data processing using quantile regression is used because the data for 2012–2021 on the vehicle tax payer factor in Blitar City is normally distributed. From the research results, there are 3 factors that are positively correlated and 1 factor that is negatively correlated. From the resulting quantile regression model, it can be concluded that every decrease in the number of traffic accidents and decrease in the number of motorized vehicles will reduce the results of motor vehicle taxpayer collections. Meanwhile, increasing the number of employees and the number of traffic violations will increase the results of motor vehicle tax collections.

Abstract

Shopee application is one of the marketplace applications with the most visitors throughout 2023, but there are still many negative complaints about the appearance of the application in the Google Play Store review column which shows that the appearance of the Shopee application is still less ergonomic and still faces problems related to usability attributes based on ISO 9241-11. The purpose of this study is to determine the usability value of the Shopee application interface design before and after improvements are made, and provide recommendations for design improvements using the Figma tool. The method used to evaluate usability is performance measurement for effectiveness and efficiency values, and system usability scale for satisfaction values. The results of the usability evaluation and design improvements on the Shopee application made an increase in the effectiveness value from 94% to 100%, the efficiency value from 90% to 100% with a processing time of 1266 seconds to 999 seconds, and the satisfaction value with a SUS score of 47.5 to 81.5.

Abstract

The Family Hope Program (Program Keluarga Harapan or PKH) is established to alleviate poverty among underprivileged communities, particularly in the socio-economic, educational, and healthcare sectors. Research is conducted to examine (1) how the implementation of PKH alleviates poverty; (2) how the implementation of PKH is evaluated; and (3) the supporting and inhibiting factors of PKH in alleviating poverty in Tuban Regency. The research aims to analyze the implementation, evaluate it, and identify the factors involved. The qualitative approach is utilized, employing a case study research design to describe the implementation of PKH events, supported by both primary and secondary sources. Data triangulation techniques are applied to reduce, present, and draw conclusions. The overall results align with the plan, and multi-factor inhibitors can be addressed effectively, leading to the successful implementation of the PKH program. A deep understanding of conventional problems, increased coordination between stakeholders, and good communication are the keys to success in implementing the KPM-PKH assistance program in Bacan District, Tuban Regency

Abstract

In the construction sector, progress in the development of information technology is very rapid, providing many benefits for construction work that has a level of difficulty and complexity in the work process, including the field of AEC (Arobitect Engineering Construction). The data used in this research are primary data and secondary data from the project at the Arjasa health center building project, Sumenep Regency, East Java. Data collection was carried out quantitatively. This data will later be used in modeling using Tekla Stuctures 2022 software. Based on the case study, 3D modeling is carried out starting from the process of making grids, elevations, foot plate and continuous foundations, sloofs, columns, beams and roofs, followed by 4D modeling or Time Schedule where the schedule the work that has been entered into the task manager is then processed using project visualization, and the last is 5D modeling or cost estimation using Tekla Structures 2022 software. Modeling is done by taking the volume results obtained from 3D building modeling using Tekla Structures 2022 software and then calculating it using Excel. The RAB results obtained for the Polyclinic Building were IDR 224,175,887.47 and for the IGD building IDR 214,707,268.24.

Abstract

In bilingual communities, code mixing serves as a useful communication strategy between students and teachers. It is also an interesting topic to research when considering language as a medium for interaction and communication. In this study, the researcher focused on finding out whether the use of code mixing can enhance EFL students’ motivation in the classroom interaction or not. A descriptive qualitative method used for conducting this study. The researcher conducted this study at Institut Agama Islam Negeri (IAIN Bone). The participants were ten sixth semester of EFL students. The researcher used interview as the research instrument. The result showed that the use of code mixing can enhance students motivation. The positive impacts of using the code mixing were the material can easily be understood and the students’ vocabularies can increase by the time. The negative impact was it will make the students difficult to speak English fully.
