Abstract

Chinese ethnicity is one of the ethnic groups spread all over the world. This means that ethnic Chinese exist in every country and one of them is in Indonesia. It is well known that ethnic Chinese are part of the diversity of the Indonesian nation that existed long before independence, its long journey and its role as ethnic group that participated in Indonesian independence and development did not seem to be a positive value for them in the eyes of other indigenous ethnic groups in Indonesia, at least in some cases of discrimination that had occurred in Dutch colonialism until the famous during the new order government in the period long enough before the birth of government reform in 1998. The purpose of this study is To describe the existence of ethnic Chinese in the social and cultural fields in Indonesia in 1966- 2016. Research Methods in this study using historical research conducted in the library University of Muhammadiyah Metro. In this study the researcher uses the historical method by conducting literature study. Data collection techniques in this study using heuristics step and literatur techniques and the validity of data collection using internal and external critism with the steps of analysis that is using interpretation and historiography.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find the media of Learning Media catalog which can give information briefly, regularly and clearly about the material of history of war against colonialism, the time of arrival process and the power of VOC, and the impact of Dutch government in class XI, and in class X the impact in spreading Islam and also aims to strengthen the understanding of local history of the students. This type of research is a Level 1 development which is where in the preparation of this medium with the development method Sugiyono level 1 which where only test the feasibility of the product with internal validating stage by the team of experts not to the stage test try to students, with the preparation must also be adjusted with the analysis KI, KD and the subject matter, after the drafting process is completed then the next stage can be validated internally by a team of material and media experts.Based on the results of research, has been obtained instructional media based local historical heritage in Menggala Tulang Bawang which has been through the validation stage, validation is a media feasibility test developed, validation is through two stages of stage 1 and 2, which of course there are suggestions and comments in order to revise the product back up to the criteria worth at least score 81 and from the data obtained on the validation of material and media experts there is an increase in scores at stages 1 and 2, in stage 1 the material got a percentage of 78% and in stage 2 with the value 88% percentage. While the validation of media experts in stage 1 got the percentage of 80% and in stage 2 got a percentage of 94%. From these data can already be declared feasible tested

Abstract

The presence of social and religious space in a city can be one of the choices for people to eliminate fatigue that is felt so that the community is able to interact, socialize, gather and create in an emotional (communal) building besides that it can support and direct the community towards progress in religious as well as the noble values of their ancestors so that the presence of social public space and religious public space in a city is very important for the community. The approach used in this study is a qualitative method with a type of naturalistic research. Data analysis techniques that will be used are data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. Based on the results of the study, it was found that the development of social space and religious space in Metro City experienced a rapid increase. This is evidenced by the conduct of renovations carried out in social and religious spaces in Metro City which can have a positive impact on the economy of the community. The conclusion of this study is the development of social space and religious space so that in social space not only as a place for recreation but can support the economy of society in addition to the religious space not only as a place for worship but can also be used as an Islamic nuance recreation.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is (1) to analyze the learning conditions in class; (2) determine the design of videoscribe-based learning media in the material history of the Islamic kingdom in Sumatra and its acculturation; and (3) analyze the feasibility of learning media using videoscribe based videos on the material history of the Islamic empire in Sumatra and its acculturation. Research and development was carried out using the design model of research and development (R&D) development adapted by Sugiono Level 1 (producing a design but not testing). The results of the study show that (1) learning media as an intermediary for the learning process has not been utilized efficiently; (2) the media developed in the form of videoscribe based learning media in the material history of the Islamic empire in Sumatra and its acculturation are associated with character values; (3) the results of the feasibility of developing videoscribe based learning media in the material history of the Islamic empire in Sumatra and its acculturation validated by media experts stage 1 (62%), after revising the product and conducting stage 2 validation of (76%) so that it increased 14% by category "Decent". Validation results by material experts stage 1 (79%), after revising the product and doing stage 2 validation (95%) so that it increased 16% in the category of "very feasible". Videoscribe based learning media were tested with the results of student response questionnaires (85.2%) with the category "very feasible".

Abstract

The objectives of this research are (1) to describe the local history teaching materials used in SMA N 1 Metro, (2) get a general description of the level of awareness of history of SMA N 1 Metro students, (3) get the module design of local history of Metro City to strengthen the awareness of history, (4) to describe the opinion of experts and practitioners about the feasibility of local Metro City's local history module in strengthening historical awareness. The method used in this research is research and development with the development model adapted from Sugiyono level 1, that is research to produce the product but not test it. The study results are (1) the use of learning resources in SMA N 1 Metro is still synonymous with textbooks or print and the internet, (2) the level of awareness of high school students N 1 Metro by 67% with high category, (3) module of local history City Metro is designed in accordance with the syllabus of the 2013 curriculum entitled 'History and Development of Metro City', (4) the result of material validation of phase one with percentage of 73% and stage two of 89%, an increase of 16%. The results of the design validation stage one 61%, after the improvement and validation test conducted in phase two to 89%, with a 28% increase. Based on the results of the validation, the local delivery module Metro City to strengthen the consciousness declared feasible test.

Abstract

Historical understanding needs to be owned by everyone from an early age in order to know and understand the meaning of past events so that they can be used as a basis for attitudes in facing the present reality and determining the future. Based on the results of the pre-survey conducted at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 1 East Lampung in the academic year of 2017/2018, the ability of Historical Comprehension students to know the purpose of this study is to determine the ability of Historical Comprehension of students of MAN 1 East Lampung in the material from Regasdengklok to Pegangsaan Timur. Discussed the results of the study 48 students of Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 1 East Lampung, it can be described that the number of true scores of students from each item item is 986 and the average value is 20.54, the measured aspect is (C2) understanding obtained 10% of participants have a very high ability in understanding history, 33% of students have a high ability to understand history, 12.5% of students have moderate historical comprehension abilities, 37% of students have a low historical understanding, and 6.2% of students have historical understanding is very lacking, if the total students who have a historical understanding of 56.25% while those who have not% have a historical understanding of 43.75% of the factors of students who have the ability to understand history, namely, high interest, high motivation, positive attitude when learning and the maximum utilization of learning resources by students, while those who do not have the ability to understand history are interests re well, low motivation, negative attitude and utilization of learning resources that are less than optimal.

Abstract

Many understandings that were born in the period of the movement, including the Marhaenism which was triggered by Sukarno. Marhaenism was born from Sukarno's awareness of the fate of the Indonesian people and people who are constantly impoverished and suffering by the practice of Colonialism This made Sukarno aware of his desire to be independent and determine the destiny of the country WITHOUT foreign interference. Marhaenism became an ideology in fighting for the fate of the oppressed Indonesian people. Marhaenism became the foundation of the PNI's struggle which was founded in 1927. PNI was a tool to defend the colonized Indonesian people. The desired concept of independence is economic, social and political independence that can be felt by all Indonesians. The hallmark of Marhaenism is the Socio-Nationalist principle, Socio-Democracy which describes the spirit and principles of the Marhaen who want independence. We can feel this Marhaenism influence in every mass oration made by Sukarno. Where Sukarno always gathered masses in large numbers and shouted Marhaen as the ideology of the oppressed Indonesian people. Prior to the establishment of the PNI, Sukarno first established an association named Studie Club, which became the forerunner of the establishment of PNI which was continued by Partindo to continue the spirit of Marhaenism.
