Abstract

Research is one of the higher education dharma which is the leading business in Siliwangi University. The primary business abstraction process at Siliwangi University became important in assisting the implementation of Tridharma, especially the management of the research. In addition to the primary business abstraction process, simulation is also needed to clearly see the role of each part in the development of the quality and quantity of research.This study aims to model the development of the quality and quantity of research using the BPMN approach. From the BPMN simulation results, currently, (as-is) Siliwangi University shows a balanced role between LP2M-PMP, Academic Bureau, and Rectorate. To maximize the role of each part, this research creates a scenario by targeting the implementation of the development of the quality and quantity of research in a period of 6 months from the scenario simulation results, it can be seen that the role of the Academic Bureau dominates by 71.85% compared to the Rectorate by 63.08% and LP2M-PMP by 50.97%.Keywords—Development of Quality and Quantity of Research, Business Processes, BPMN.DOI: 10.5281/zenodo.1471134

Abstract

Current technological developments are very influential on the process of data distribution that is demanded fast because every second of information can change. One of the methods used in data exchange is to use data replication in a distributed database. The speed of the process and the number of rows that can be replicated in units of time are some of the things that can be taken into consideration when trying to determine how to replicate data in a distributed database.In replication, a software is used to find or more precisely track changes that occur in a database. After changes in one database are identified and known, then changes are made so that all databases are the same as other databases.This study implements two computers consisting of master and slave, each of which is a database server that is connected to each other in the network. Abstract

The role of web service is needed as a medium for sharing data and inter-process functionality so that an application can connect with other applications without depending on the programming language or operating system. By using the web service Final Project exam schedule is not only known by students who will do the trial examination but can also be known by all students where the exam schedule will be sent to the web service provider then the web service engine will work to display the exam schedule on several websites that have been provided and by using genetic algorithms direct exam schedules can be determined automatically. This is where the role of web service is in carrying out the data exchange process. In this study, the technology that will be used is SOAP (Simple Object Access Protocol) because SOAP is a standardized protocol by W3C (World Wide Web Consortium), besides that it is also used Genetic Algorithm to automatically set exam schedules.The results obtained in this study that the application of web services can run well. Abstract

The cow is a livestock that has a lot of economic potentials is quite promising. Diseases in cattle can be transmitted quickly and can result in death. The disease can be caused by bacteria, viruses, fungi, and parasite. To prevent cattle disease is not contagious, then the owner of the cow must know first about the diseases in cattle, so it can be done prevention and treatment of cattle as early as possible.The expert system is a system designed to imitate an expert’s expertise in solving an existing problem. Knowledge of veterinary diseases is drawn up about literature and interviews with veterinarians about veterinary disease used to diagnose disease-disease illness and how to treat it.Determination of disease in this expert system is done through a consultation process between users with the system and also use Forward Chaining method. The system will display symptoms of the disease, then the user selected symptoms experienced. User-selected symptoms will be adjusted to the existing rule so that users will get the diagnosis of symptoms, types of disease and treatment solutions. Abstract

The Quick Response Code technology (QR Code) is a type of matrix Code developed by Denso Corporation, with the aim of being a Code of translators at high speed. In its application QR Code can use the standard method and Euclidean Distance method on the process of reading. The benchmark in this discussion is whether there is a difference between Standard method and Euclidean Distance method on QR Code technology by looking at estimated time and accuracy after decoding data and information.The method used is qualitative research method with the type of comparative research. Based on the results of the study, it can be seen the comparison of time estimation, the Standard method has a shorter process time than Euclidean Distance, because of the Standard method using Library Zxing. Library Zxing is an open source library that works for processing various types of 1 dimensional and 2-dimensional barcodes that can shorten the QR Code reading compared to Euclidean Distance. Abstract

Surf zone is the most important area in the analysis of the coastal process because in that area three waves are no longer stable due to the energy lost after the wave breaks so that high turbulence occurs which causes the sediment transport process. The purpose of this research was to determine the width of the surf zone during high tide and low tide on the coast of Makassar City starting from the estuary of the Jeneberang River to the estuary of the Tallo River. Data analysis technique used in the form of wind direction and velocity analysis use the application surfer, fortranC++and GIS, effective fetch analysis, wave forecasting, and breaking wave analysis then measured the width of the surf zone using the bathymetry map of the research site. The results of this research are the average width of the surf zone in the research site affected by the tides where the widest average surf zone width occurs at low tide with a width of 618 meters and the narrowest average width of the surf zone occurs when the tide is 35 meters wide.Keywords—Coastal Area, Tides, Wide Surf ZoneDOI : 10.5281/zenodo.1911853

Abstract

This study aims to make web-based academic information software and find out the quality of devices according to ISO 9126 includes Functionality Reliability, Portability, and Usability. This research is a type of Research and Development Research (R&D). The object of this research is a Web-based Vocational Academic Information System. This study uses the Waterfall development model with 5 stages of Analysis, Design, Implementation, Testing, and Maintenance. The method used in the data is through Interviews and Questionnaires. Data analysis techniques that are Descriptive Analysis, while for software quality testing according to ISO 9126 standard uses 4 characteristics, namely Functionality, Reliability, Portability, and Usability. Instruments for testing functionality using the Black Box Testing method, reliability using Webserver Stress Tool Software, portability using Browserstack Software, while for use using a complete questionnaire. The results of the functionality for sub-physical Accuracy and Conformity indicate a 100% feasibility level, for different system Security from Malware, Blacklisted Websites, Injected SPAM, Defacement, and SQL Injection, for the results of system reliability testing because the system can run well. both with 5 simultaneous users with an average time of 20 seconds with a success rate of 99.78%. Abstract

Nowadays, we can find Lamongan Restaurants wherever we are. Almost every street there is one Lamongan Restaurant. One of these types of UMKM is so popular among the public. This happened because the food that offered was acceptable and became a favorite for the public, as well as what happened in Bangka Belitung Province. However, most UMKM still uses manual methods for bookkeeping and transactions. Problems arise when many customers come to place to order, as well as those who want to make payments must wait for the manual calculation. Besides, manual bookkeeping can still cause errors in the calculation. To solve this problem, an integrated management system is proposed throughout the Province of Bangka Belitung. That way, every UMKM can easily do bookkeeping and transactions, besides that the government can also easily to monitor, record, and access the information reports from UMKM. This study uses a prototype development model. Abstract

An audio recorder is one of the multimedia content that is often found at the crime scene and is used as evidence in the trial process. Audio recorders that can be made as legal evidence in court must follow the rules and audio forensic standards that apply in the process of obtaining the evidence, this is because audio digital evidence is very easy to manipulate. The forensic audio investigation process requires a framework that can be used as a reference in the investigation process. However, at present, the developing audio forensic focus more on analyzing audio forensic techniques and does not provide more specific stages in handling forensic audio from the scene of the case to the trial process. This research focuses on developing the audio forensic framework by implementing the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) in the process of developing the forensic audio framework. Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) has stages of planning, analysis, design, implementation, and maintenance that are often used as references in the process of making and developing systems. Abstract

This study was conducted to test and prove that the Elimination Et Choix Traduisant La Reality (Electre) method can be used to select drainage project material suppliers from some alternatives with predetermined criteria. The criteria used are 3, including Price, Quality, and Distance. Sample data used are 5 alternatives with different weighting values for each of the criteria. Suppliers are people who supply. The application of supplier selection is still be dominated by price factors and input from experienced staff. The data used is obtained from the UPT archive. Spatial Planning and Settlement of Pematangsiantar in 2016, where the final results can be recommended to agencies in the selection of suppliers of drainage project materials. The method used is the Elimination Et Choix Traduisant La Reality (Electre) method.
