Abstract

Geography lessons are an impossible lesson for most students. In this case the role of information technology such as mobile augmented reality technology is to provide information on hydrosphere information. Based on this poverty, knowledge of the environment and hydrosphere is indeed quite difficult to explain because these two things are natural examples that are difficult for people to see. This natural knowledge and hydrosation is usually obtained from books, teaching staff or science experts. To overcome by adding knowledge as 3D hydrosphere learning media through Augmented Reality system in the form of mobile augmented reality application for 3D hydrosphere learning media. Based on all functional requirements, validation testing has fulfilled. On the results using the Usability Scale System method of usability testing obtained SUS score of 82. The SUS score shows that the mobile augmented reality application for 3D hydrosphere learning media can easily be done. The results of media testing for mobile augmented reality applications for 3D hydrosphere learning media can be used well for users.

Abstract

The main component in the gas detection system is the Flow Computer which functions as a compensating computer of the passing gas stream. In its implementation, Flow Computer requires several sensors to read the required values on subsequent compensation. Generally are temperature sensors, pressure, and gas flow. In this research will be analyzed how data acquisition capability applied to gas detection system using Arduino Mega. Arduino Mega is a microcontroller that has the capability of general purpose (many functions). By using Arduino Mega, the author will try to replace the Flow Computer function with a microcontroller. In the hope of delivering good results as comparison and solution problems for data acquisition. The passing gas flow is read using a turbine sensor. This sensor successfully read the sensor value with a range of values 20-30 mL / s. Testing using DC 1200 rpm motor. The communication module successfully performs the exact communication switch and the value sent by each communication module does not differ remotely. Differences occur due to changes in time and conditions within the gas pipeline, but the value does not change significantly. This shows that using either Ethernet or GSM communications module (Global System for Mobile Communications), the system can provide the sensor value appropriately.

Abstract

Home security systems are a necessity for every home, for instance home alarm that is still many used. But, along with the development of the present technology, home security system has various kinds and will keep moving for the development. The lack of security level has the impact of theft and burglary in house. Sometimes, the house owner thinks that he has locked his house, but in reality, the burglary case in house now is due to the easy thing for the burglar to open the installed lock door by using a wire or other imitated keys. Based on the problem, it is need to add the door safety that can be controlled by using Android smartphone with voice command. Voice command recognition system is one concept of controlling the electronic devices by using voice command. By applying the Google Voice Command technology, the system can turn on and turn of the home equipment by the support of microcontroller and Bluetooth. The research explains the design of home security system using voice command that is used by the android application with the Bluetooth connection to control the solenoid door lock, PIR, and RTC. From the test result, the system has value of success 93,33% in functional testing and processing testing the user input in controlling solenoid door lock. In sensor PIR testing, the value of success is up to 100%. The next test is RTC, the value of success is up to 100%.

Abstract

Purebred chicken egg become one of the most favorite protein sources in the community because the price is quite affordable than other protein sources that are sold freely in the market. The main problem is the fluctuation of the market price of eggs in Malang, there are times when prices rise and there are times when prices fall. This would be a problem if the price rose from the price in the preceding months. In this research, a system capable to predict the egg market price by using Support Vector Regression (SVR) method to forecast and Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) method to optimize SVR parameters. The optimization process consists of 4 main stages, namely the normalization stage, SVR training stage, PSO stages, and testing stages. In the SVR performance testing yields the smallest MAPE value of 6.2186%. As for the SVR-PSO performance testing has the smallest MAPE value of 1.8840%.

Abstract

Flood is a condition where water flow is higher than normal water level so it flooded the surrounding area. Floodwaves flow from upstream to downstream and interact with increasing water capacity of the estuary. Floods can occur due to high rainfall, overflow from the river, the destruction factor of Watershed (DAS). From that point on, a system that is able to forecast to make it easier to analyze the flood alert status in the future. Regression method used in this research is Fuzzy Time Series. The FTS method is a model usually used to forecast data in sequence. This research has a goal to forecast flood alert in Kambing Station DAS Brantas . The results of the test show the prediction of flood alert on the water level data (AWLR) that is in December 2016 got the error value (RMSE) of 2.89 and rainfall data (ARR) in February 2015 got the error value (RMSE) of 16.0. Both data resulted flood alert forecasting that shows Normal.

Abstract

Cultivation of melon plants requires optimal care and appropriate environmental conditions, as they are susceptible to pest and disease infections. This leads to crop failure due to errors from the handling and selection of the pesticides used in tackling them. The agricultural extensions at this time are still have some difficulty to identify the diseases that attacked the melon plants despite the clear differences between each melon plants and determine the solutions for handling and to eradicate the disease. Based on the said problems, a melon plants' diseases diagnosing system is designed. The Promethee method can be used as a decision-assisting method by comparing the symptoms of one disease with another using the criteria of preference. In the melon plants' diseases diagnosing system using Promethee method's main functions are calculating the value of paired comparison deviation for each disease and calculate the value of stream flow in the form of Entering Flow, Leaving Flow, and Net Flow. The melon plants' diseases diagnosing system using 30 test data resulted in an accuracy rate of 86.67% by using Usual and Gaussian preference criteria. The difference in the level of accuracy in each type of preference is determined by the weight of each symptom from each disease as well as the indifference threshold and the preference threshold used in the calculation.

Abstract

Hearthstone is a digital Collectible Card Game that's pretty successful, this is proven by its achievement as a Card Game eSport with a lot of fans. But, unfortunately Hearthstone still has several flaw, one of its major flaw is the high difficulty experienced by the new player. Looking at that problem, Evaluation to the game's user experience needs to be done. Currently, there's a lot of method that could be used to evaluate user experience of a software. But, a lot of those method often isn't designed to specifically evaluate user experience of a game. That's why, the evaluation method that's used in this research is an evaluation method that's specifically designed to be used to evaluate user experience of a game, which is Game Experience Questionnaire. Based on the evaluation result, Hearthstone scored the lowest at Immersion and Returning to Reality aspect that could be improved by imitating the story part of its competitor, which is Shadowverse.

Abstract

Wireless Sensor Network appears as a network configuration that is able to provide solutions for a variety of applications in a difficult or unexpected situation. In general, there are two wireless communication standards used in WSN, namely IEEE 802.11 and IEEE 802.15.4. Each of these standards is able to present the use of Internet Protocol on WSN devices. The use of the IP protocol at WSN will bring the same benefits as IP on computer networks that have long been used, with various mechanisms and protocols that have been developed and used. In the absence of available blocks of IPv4 addresses, the use of IPv6 addresses must begin immediately. However, to bring IPv6 to WSN is hampered by limited resources. 6LoWPAN is here to enable the implementation of internet protocols to small devices. In this study, the design and implementation of wireless sensor prototypes using Raspberry Pi and MRF24J40MA as transceiver radio modules that use 6LoWPAN as the communication protocol is implemented. There are features added in this system that allow the sensor node to know the server's IP address without configuration. Also discussed about how to install MRF24J40MA so that it can be used for communication media using the 6LoWPAN protocol. The test results from this study indicate that overall, the system that has been made can run functionally and can use 6LoWPAN as a communication protocol.

Abstract

In the life of the general public and professional, the need for computer-based systems that robots have increased rapidly. Along with the increasing needs of the community on the use of robots in everyday life, the capabilities of the robots are also increasing with the aim that robots can complete the tasks assigned by human. One important aspect when a robot collaborates with a human is the security of the robot when performing tasks in the human environment both to the general public and professional. One of the steps applied to the robot in order to increase the security level of the robots when operating within the human environment is to apply finite state machine method into the robot system. Finite state machine is an abstract machine consisting of a set of conditions, an initial condition, an input, and a transition function that maps the input and the current state to the next condition. In this research, the implementation of finite state machine method in quadcopter control and navigation system using the Kinect sensor. Then compare the quadcopter control and navigation system with the Kinect sensor that applies finite state machine method with quadcopter control and navigation system with Kinect sensor which does not apply finite state machine method. Based on the combination of motion testing that was carried out fourteen times using the finite state machine method on this system, the results of quadcopter movement were found which did not occur in collisions of objects around the quadcopter.

Abstract

Bonolo using social media as one of the marketing tools. Instagram is selected because it has a large number of users and is mostly used for the purposes of buying and selling online. This research was conducted to find out the influence of social media marketing towards brand loyalty on social media account Instagram bonolo.id. In this study, which became population research is a customer account that follows bonolo Instagram bonolo.id and have already purchased the product. Data collection is done using the method of purposive sampling to 429 prospective respondents, where 110 of whom fill out questionnaires that are given. 10 the respondent eliminated from the final data because it does not meet the criteria of research respondents. The data collected was then analysed using multiple linear regression. Data analysis was done with the help of SPSS statistical software. The results of this study indicate that a variable advantageous campaign, popular content, and frequently update the content has an impact on the dependent variable is brand loyalty, it significantly. While variables relevant content and various platform and application do not have influence on the dependent variable significantly to brand loyalty.
