Abstract

The large proportion of the population leads to a large municipal solid waste pile, about 4,579,356 m3/day. Approximately 84.99 percent of municipal waste in 2016 goes to Muara Fajar Final Disposal Site. This is due to the end of the pipeline paradigm in the community (from source to TPA) and relatively low levels of community participation. In addition, waste containing still mixed for each type of waste (recycled waste and non recyclable), garbage transport still using conventional methods, and Muara Fajar 1 landfill operates with an open dumping system. So solid waste still has many negative impacts. In fact, municipal solid waste has the potential and potential value of secondary and renewable energy to support sustainable solid waste management for sustainable development. Sustainable solid waste management can be achieved by optimizing the life cycle inventory in integrated solid waste management. This can be done through waste treatment units and community roles. With this utilization, garbage generated from households or commercial areas is not directly stockpiled, but used first through Waste Bank, Compost Unit, TPST - 3R, and RDF (refuse derived fuel). In this way, the solid waste that leads to the Muara Fajar landfill decreases to about 8.9 percent per year. This can improve the lifetime of a TPA operation that has an area of 5 Ha, from 1.5 years to 6 years.

Abstract

he development of rail-based mass transit is Light Rail Transit consisting of two corridors namely Corridor 1 Babakan Siliwangi - Leuwipanjang and Corridor 2 Cibereum-Gedebage, and the addition of 10 Trans Metro corridors Bandung has not been a solution due to over lapping with existing public transport routes. The purpose of this research is to make a proposed concept to integrate public transportation in Bandung City in terms of routes and shelters / shelters. The method used in this research is using the analysis of overlapping route, service area, and matrix of origin. The result of this research is to make clear hierarchy between public transportation in Bandung City that is Trans Metro Bandung (based on road) and Light Rail Transit plan based on rail), DAMRI as supporting transportation, and City Transportation as transportation of feeder. In this concept also consider the plan of Jakarta-Bandung fast train which will connect with gedebage integrated station and the nearest Light Rail Transit station in Gedebage, This will accommodate the movement in collective activity area of Gedebage. The concept of public transport must be connected to the shelter as a mode of transfer of modes and up / down of passengers. In this concept the shelters are adjusted to passenger pockets and the ideal distance between the bus stops and the ideal distance for inter-modal shift.

Abstract

The measure of the success of development can be seen from the economic growth and the smaller income inequality among the population, between regions and between sectors. In fact, economic growth is not always followed by adequate equity. This condition occurs in the urban areas of Surakarta with rapid economic growth and developments that have exceeded administrative boundaries. Thus, the Research Question is: "What is the economic development and the inequality level of urban areas of Surakarta?" This research uses quantitative approach and quantitative descriptive analysis method. The results of research studies show that economic activity is dominated by industry, trade and services sectors. Conversion of agricultural land to be built also increased. Economic inequality is high, 0.68 influenced by population distribution and uneven economic activity, so it has not been integrated optimally between the central and sub-center areas. It can be concluded that in the development of economic activities of urban areas of Surakarta have quite high inequality classification. There needs to be a balanced integration of economic activity with emphasis on increasing the relevance and distribution of economic activities to be more evenly adjusted to local potentials in the sub-centers so that the role is more optimal. In addition, strengthening is needed in the implementation of cooperation mechanism in accordance with the policy and legal basis of cooperation among regions in the economic aspects.

Abstract

Seeing the high needs of the Bandung City Government launched the School Bus program to accommodate the movement. This program has been running since 2015 and has operated 4 service routes. However, in the implementation there are problems where there is a route with a low level of content, which means that students have not fully utilized the school bus. In addition, there are also inconsistent routes where the existing route does not match the plan route. Therefore, evaluation of service performance of Bandung Bus School is needed to see if school bus is effective or not. Evaluation of school bus effectiveness is done by comparing the existing condition of school bus with the indicator of school bus service performance and also with map overlapping method. Bandung School Buses have not been fully assessed from performance indicators such as waiting time for old school buses and also average travel time of more than 1 hour. The varied distribution of students (pickup points) also makes the school bus route has not been effective because the existing route has not covered the whole range of students as in Jalan A.H. Nasution. From the results of this evaluation it is necessary to add new routes to be able to serve the distribution of varied learners and the need for route regulation to reduce the long travel time.

Abstract

Baleendah District is a flood-prone area. Become a problem when the adaptive community to stay, and low sanitation services in the region. This research aims to formulate direction of sanitation handling in Banjir Sub-District of Baleendah District. The method used in this research is qualitative and quantitative research method by formulating factors and sub-factors that influence the level of sanitation risk and assessment of sanitation condition in facing flood disaster by paying attention to related policy. The result of this research is to know the direction of sanitation handling in flood disaster area based on analysis result of sanitation condition and sanitation risk level analysis. Handling directions are shared technical and non technical during normal and flooded conditions. Technical referrals use 3 planning models. First spatial planning model, sanitation handling with related policy approaches. Both models of wastewater infrastructure management plan, using local system management so that the problems of septic tank deficiency can be fulfilled. Provision of self-supporting latrines and emergency latrines to cope with the lack of latrines when the floods take place. The three models of household waste management planning with a sustainable approach to waste management with a centralized off-site system from collection to final processing. Provision of flood-resistant waste infrastructure. Non-technical guidance in the form of strengthening community capacity in Clean and Healthy Lifestyles (PHBS) in the form of education, training, strengthening public awareness of the use of sanitation in all conditions, thus minimizing the impact of both behavior patterns and problems of availability of sanitation infrastructure.
