Abstract

The advancement of the digital era encourages educational institutions to have informative, functional, and easily accessible websites as a means of delivering information effectively. SMK JAMAAH PASRAH as a technology-based school needs a digital platform to deliver information to students, staff, and the community. This research aims to design and develop the school’s website using the Laravel Filament framework due to its ability to build admin dashboards more quickly, efficiently, and in a structured manner compared to conventional Laravel development, which often requires more time for manually building interfaces and data management logic. The development process adopts the Agile Development method with iterative cycles consisting of plan, design, develop, test, deploy, and review which are carried out repeatedly to achieve optimal results according to user needs. The resulting website has main features such as school information, skill programs, new student registration, articles, and activity galleries. Testing is done using the Black Box Testing method to determine whether all website features function properly. The results of the satisfaction survey using the System Usability Scale (SUS) showed a high level of satisfaction, 85% of 10 respondents. Based on this evaluation, the SMK JAMAAH PASRAH website has succeeded in becoming an effective digitization solution, presenting structured, easily accessible information, and increasing the efficiency of school administration.

Abstract

The rapid advancement of computer network technology and the increasing demand for efficient, stable, and high-speed network access, along with the need for adequate security measures, network security has become a major concern. Network security encompasses various techniques designed to protect and maintain the integrity of network systems. One such technique involves implementing a firewall system that incorporates the port security method. This method is used to regulate the use of network ports with the aim of controlling unauthorized access to the network. Port security also serves to block suspicious access, monitor network activity, and prevent data theft by malicious actors. By implementing a firewall system based on port security, potential issues within the network infrastructure can be mitigated, thereby enhancing the overall quality of network security. This study analyzes the reliability of a firewall system that utilizes a port security approach. The test results demonstrate that Macof attacks were unable to compromise the switch’s MAC address table, which was protected by Sticky Port Security.

Abstract

Bird’s eye chili (Capsicum frutescens L.) is one of Indonesia’s key horticultural commodities, yet it is highly susceptible to diseases such as anthracnose caused by Colletotrichum spp. fungi and fruit rot due to fruit fly (Bactrocera sp.) infestations. Visual similarities between early and advanced symptoms often hinder manual identification, which can lead to misdiagnosis and the excessive use of pesticides. This study aims to develop an image classification system based on machine learning to distinguish between three chili conditions: healthy, infected with anthracnose, and rotten. The proposed model combines the MobileNetV2 architecture as a feature extractor with a Support Vector Machine (SVM) using a linear kernel as the classifier. The dataset consists of 1,020 field-captured images evenly distributed into three classes (340 per class) and split into training (70%), validation (15%), and testing (15%) sets. Preprocessing steps include background removal, resizing, normalization, and image augmentation. Features are extracted using MobileNetV2 without its final classification layer and used as input for the SVM model. Evaluation results show a validation accuracy of 98% and perfect testing accuracy of 100%, with precision, recall, and F1-score also reaching 100% across all classes. These findings indicate that the hybrid approach is highly effective in detecting chili diseases automatically from images. Furthermore, the system has the potential to help farmers avoid incorrect pesticide use, reduce production costs, and improve crop quality and yield.

Abstract

Rice is a staple food commodity in Indonesia, including in Padang City, which is only able to meet 30% of its rice needs locally. Fluctuations in rice price affect economic stability and public purchasing power, making rice price prediction important. This study aims to develop a rice price prediction model using the Gated Recurrent Unit(GRU) method, utilizing actual historical rice price data from 2022 to April 2025 obtained from the PIPHS Nasional. The dataset includes three type of rice based on quality. Namely Bawah I, Medium I, and Super I. the result show that the GRU model provides the best model evaluation based on three types of rice, with a MAPE of 0, 49% for Medium I quality rice and an RMSE of 0,0587 for super I rice. And the highest MAPE was found in Super I quality rice, namely 4,41% , an RMSE value of 1,222 for Lower I quality rice. This model can be used to assist decision making related to rice price stability, particularly in Padang City, which relies on supplies from other regions. Overall, GRU proves effective in forecasting rice price supporting policies for more stable prices.

Abstract

SMK Negeri 3 Lhokseumawe is located in a high activity area surrounded by hotels, workshops and residential areas. Based on internal school data, student complaints related to respiratory problems increased significantly from 8% in 2020 to 30% in 2024. This condition shows the urgency of the need for an air quality monitoring system that is adaptive, efficient, and can operate in real-time in the school environment. This research aims to develop an Internet of Things (IoT)-based air pollution monitoring and early detection system with the integration of Takagi Sugeno Kang (TSK) fuzzy method. The system uses an ESP32 microcontroller connected to MQ-135 (CO₂), MQ-7 (CO), GP2Y1010AU0F (PM10), and DHT22 (temperature and humidity) sensors. In contrast to conventional approaches that only read raw data or rely on fixed thresholds, the TSK fuzzy method is able to adaptively process multivariate data and produce more precise air quality classifications. Data is sent in real-time to the server and displayed via website and LCD. Tests were conducted for 7 hours with 100 samples under relatively controlled environmental conditions. The implementation results show that the system runs stably and accurately, one of which is the measurement of CO 8.26 ppm, CO₂ 587 ppm, PM10 36.34 µg/m³, temperature 29.60°C, and humidity 76.50%, which is classified as “Fair” based on a fuzzy value of 2.303735. This research fills the literature gap by optimizing the TSK fuzzy method on a resource-limited device (ESP32), and offers novelty in the presentation of air quality information quickly and contextually to support health risk mitigation in educational environments.

Abstract

Stunting menjadi ancaman signifikan bagi stabilitas kesehatan dan ekonomi di Indonesia. Untuk itu, tindakan pencegahan stunting pada anak dilakukan dengan berbagai cara, salah satunya dengan pemetaan fasilitas kesehatan di kecamatan Kabupaten Kolaka menggunakan teknik clustering. Penelitian ini bertujuan  menganalisis perubahan pola distribusi stunting dari 2022 ke 2023 di berbagai wilayah di Kabupaten Kolaka. Hal itu dilakukan dengan membandingkan kinerja K-Means dan Hierarchical clustering (Ward, Complete dan Average) pada kasus stunting guna mengurangi resiko memilih metode yang tidak sesuai dengan pengelompokan daerah rawan stunting. Tingkat kerawanan kasus stunting dipetakan berdasarkan parameter pengukuran seperti anak dengan berat badan kurang, perawakan pendek, gizi buruk, gizi buruk berat, kurangnya ASI eksklusif, jumlah bayi berat badan lahir rendah (BBLR), dan jumlah rumah tangga dengan sanitasi yang tidak memadai. Hasil penelitian ini mengelompokkan tingkat kerentanan stunting menjadi 4 kategori, yaitu tingkat kerentanan rendah, sedang, tinggi, dan sangat tinggi. Evaluasi klaster menggunakan Silhouette Score, Davies-Bouldin Index (DBI) dan Dunn Index. Hierarchical clustering average  linkage dipilih sebagai metode terbaik untuk clustering tingkat kerawana kasus stunting dengan nilai Cophenetic sebesar 0.7888, DBI sebesar 0.8209, dunn index sebesar 0.5869 dan nilai silhouette score sebesar 0.2330,  nilai tersebut terkategori struktur klaster lemah, namun nilai ini merupakan nilai tertinggi dari pengujian pada k=4 dengan data multidimensi yang digunakan sulit untuk memperoleh silhouette score  tinggi terkait “Curse of Dimensionality”. Selain itu, Silhouette score cocok pada kluster bentuk cembung dan terpisah dengan baik, namun berkinerja kurang baik pada cluster yang tidak beraturan. Penelitian ini diharapkan menyediakan kerangka kerja berbasis data dengan mengidentifikasi faktor dominan stunting sehingga dapat memberikan rekomendasi intervensi yang sesuai.

Abstract

Student attendance is a crucial component of academic administration, serving to monitor student discipline and as the basis for attendance reporting to parents. At MAS Al-Huda Kangayan, the attendance recording process is still conducted manually using physical documents and Excel files, making it prone to errors, delays in recapitulation, and limited real-time access to information. This study aims to implement an RFID-based student attendance information system integrated with a WhatsApp Gateway, as an effort to improve efficiency, accuracy, and transparency in attendance recording. The system was developed using the Waterfall method, which includes the stages of requirement analysis, system design, implementation, and testing. The implementation results show that the system is capable of automatically recording attendance in real time and sending notifications directly to parents via the WhatsApp platform. Based on the test results, the system successfully reduced the average attendance recording time from 3.5 minutes to approximately ±35 seconds for a class of 10 students, equivalent to an efficiency improvement of around ±83%. Thus, the system has proven to be effective in accelerating the attendance process, minimizing recording errors, and enhancing parental involvement in monitoring student attendance.

Abstract

Employment termination (PHK) has become a crucial issue widely discussed on social media platforms like Twitter due to its social and economic impacts. This study aims to analyze public sentiment toward PHK in Indonesia using four classification methods: IndoBERT, Support Vector Machine (SVM), Random Forest, and Decision Tree. The data were collected via Twitter crawling using the keyword "PHK” in Bahasa Indonesia during the period from January to May 2025, resulting in 36,507 tweets. The data underwent preprocessing steps including case folding, cleaning, tokenization, normalization, stopword removal, and stemming. Text features were transformed into numerical form using the TF-IDF for classical models and IndoBERT tokenizer for the transformer-based model. Sentiments were classified into positive, negative, and neutral categories. Model performance was evaluated using a Confusion Matrix with an 80% training and 20% testing data split. Results show that the IndoBERT achieved the highest accuracy at 89,6%, SVM algorithm achieved accuary 88%, precision 90%, recall 95%, F1-score 92%, followed by Random Forest at 78.04%, and Decision Tree at 70.40%. Negative sentiment dominated with 21,790 tweets, reflecting significant public concern over PHK policies. This study concludes that SVM with the TF-IDF approach is the most effective model for real-time public sentiment classification. The limitation of this research lies in the data source, which is exclusively from Twitter and limited to a specific time frame, thus not representing the overall public opinin comprehensively.

Abstract

Gayo Lues Regency is one of the regions in Aceh Province that possesses natural and cultural wealth with the potential to be developed as a leading tourist destination. However, the tourism potential in this region has not been fully mapped and optimally utilized due to the lack of data-based information and appropriate management strategies. This study aims to address these challenges by applying a quantitative approach using the Random Forest method to analyze and predict tourism potential. The research involved data from 30 tourist destinations, divided into 80% training data and 20% test data. The research stages consisted of data collection, preprocessing, model training, and model evaluation. The results indicate that the Random Forest method demonstrated good performance in predicting tourism potential, with the most influential variables being the number of visitors (59.79%), rating (13.40%), distance to the city (9.28%), and road access (5.15%). The classification results show that 14 tourist attractions (46.67%) are in the Medium category, which indicates good potential but still requires improvements in facilities, access, and promotion. Furthermore, 9 attractions (30%) fall into the High category and are ready to be developed as leading destinations, while 7 attractions (23.33%) are categorized as Low and need further evaluation regarding their feasibility and development strategies.

Abstract

Praktik Kerja Lapangan (PKL) merupakan program penting dalam kurikulum SMK yang bertujuan menyiapkan siswa menghadapi dunia kerja. Namun penempatan siswa sering kali tidak sesuai karena ketidaksesuaian antara kompetensi siswa dan kebutuhan industri. Penelitian ini bertujuan merancang sistem rekomendasi penempatan PKL menggunakan metode Profile Matching. Metode ini mencocokkan profil siswa dengan kriteria industri berdasarkan proses perhitungan GAP, pembobotan, klasifikasi core dan secondary factor, serta perangkingan. Kriteria dan bobot ditentukan melalui wawancara dengan guru kordinator PKL dan pihak industri. Sistem dirancang menggunakan metode waterfall dan diimplementasikan dengan teknologi Python Flask, MySQL, dan XAMPP. Hasil pengujian menggunakan User Acceptance Test (UAT) terhadap 39 responden menunjukkan nilai rata-rata kepuasan sebesar 93%, dengan seluruh pertanyaan memiliki tingkat persetujuan di atas 85%. Ini menunjukkan sistem mampu memberikan akurasi rekomendasi penempatan PKL yang sesuai, objektif, dan memudahkan proses pengambilan keputusan oleh sekolah.
