Abstract

This study aims to analyze the usability level of the Boardify website as a student research collaboration platform. This study uses the A/B Testing method by comparing the Boardify and Trello platforms. A total of 55 respondents participated in each platform and were asked to fill out a questionnaire consisting of 25 identical questions. Additionally, technical performance testing of the Boardify website was conducted using the GTmetrix tool. The results of the study indicate that Boardify achieved an average usability score of 99.18, indicating that the platform is highly user-friendly and aligns with user needs in the context of final project submissions. In terms of performance, GTmetrix test results showed that Boardify received a Grade B with a Performance score of 86% and a Structure score of 90%. The use of A/B Testing provided an objective overview of the user experience when compared to similar platforms. Thus, Boardify can be deemed suitable and effective for use as a collaboration platform in student research.

Abstract

This study applies the VIKOR method in determining the best type of animal feed to support the productivity of laying hens. This method is used to analyze and rank various feed alternatives based on a number of important criteria, such as nutritional quality, cost efficiency, and sustainability. Data collection was carried out through direct interviews with farmers and direct observations in the field. The analysis was carried out using a multicriteria approach with weights determined based on the level of importance of each criterion. The results of the study showed that alternative A7 (fish meal) with a Q value = 0.000 ranked highest as the most optimal type of animal feed. This shows that fish meal has the best balance in meeting the various criteria that have been set. Conversely, alternative A9 (table salt) with a Q value = 1.000 ranked lowest, reflecting its least optimal performance. The VIKOR method has proven effective in providing a balanced compromise solution, so that farmers can make more accurate and data-based decisions. The application of the VIKOR method in the selection of animal feed provides significant benefits in increasing livestock efficiency and productivity. In addition, this approach also supports more sustainable and competitive livestock management, so that it has the potential to be adopted more widely in the livestock sector.

Abstract

As one of the state universities located in the province of West Kalimantan and directly adjacent to neighboring Malaysia, Sambas State Polytechnic strives to increase the enthusiasm of the young generation in continuing their education to the tertiary level, by trying to increase the number of students through socialization regarding information about the Sambas State Polytechnic campus to prospective SLTA/MA graduates in various districts/cities in West Kalimantan Province. Sambas State Polytechnic itself is a vocational college that has 10 study programs, which presents its campus information by delivering the profile of Sambas State Polytechnic through the campus website media, Facebook and Instagram social media, and using PowerPoint slides. The results of interviews with the Poltesa socialization public relations found that the weakness was that the public did not fully understand the information presented, as evidenced by several prospective students still choosing campuses outside Sambas Regency. For this reason, a new socialization media innovation is needed to display the entire campus environment virtually as a virtual tour. This virtual tour will depict the real conditions of the campus, starting from the campus entrance, and learning support facilities, to study program rooms such as laboratories and workshops, which can be accessed online on the web, either via gadgets or computers. Virtual Tour technology allows users to explore the real environment virtually. The development of this web-based virtual tour application is a continuation of previous research and implementation of a new method, namely the ADDIE development method where the stages start from the Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and finally Evaluation stages. This method was chosen because the development method allows each phase to be evaluated and revised from the stages passed so that the resulting product is of higher quality. This web-based virtual tour application is expected to provide benefits, namely providing convenience for visitors and prospective students to get to know the Sambas State Polytechnic campus. From the results of the material expert test, 89.2% and the general public 86.83%, the Sambas State Polytechnic virtual tour website is very suitable for use as a digital information media, so in 2025 it is hoped that there will be an increase in prospective student interest of 5%.

Abstract

The fisheries sector plays an important role in the Indonesian economy, especially in supporting national food security. Fish farming, including ponds, has great potential to increase food production. However, this sector faces various challenges, especially related to capital and low investment interest. In fact, this sector holds promising economic opportunities. Many pond owners have difficulty getting access to capital and are not yet optimally connected with potential investors. This study aims to design a prototype of an intelligent system that can connect landowners with investors efficiently. In designing the system, the researcher applied two analysis methods, namely Return on Investment (ROI) and Technique for Order of Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS). The ROI method is used to analyze investment feasibility by calculating the projected profit of pond investment that is more open to potential investors. Meanwhile, the TOPSIS method is used to recommend the best investment alternatives to potential investors based on several criteria such as profit, capital, location, type of fish, and harvest time, so that it can help potential investors in making investment decisions. Based on the case study, Pond A obtained an ROI of 67.36% and based on the TOPSIS analysis, Pond A obtained the highest preference value (Vᵢ = 0.9203). This study uses the Research and Development (R&D) method and the results of this study are in the form of an initial system design that has not been fully implemented. The system design that applies the ROI and TOPSIS methods is expected to be the basis for developing a more comprehensive system in the next stage. This system not only offers innovative solutions in fish pond investment, but also presents a data-based decision-making model that increases transparency and efficiency of investment in the fisheries sector.

Abstract

This This study aims to design and develop a web-based zakat recording application for Musholla Al-Hidayah., zakat recording is done manually using notebooks, which can lead to recording errors, data loss, and inefficiencies in management. The Rapid Application Development (RAD) method is used to address these issues, allowing a fast and iterative development process with direct user feedback. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and literature review. The application includes main features such as login, dashboard, zakat recording, zakat receipt, and zakat reporting. Based on black-box testing, the application has 7 main features with a total of 17 test scenarios, all of which successfully functioned 100% as expected. This application is designed to assist the management in recording zakat data from residents of three neighborhood units, namely RT 10, RT 11, and RT 12, which were previously recorded manually in the area of Jl. Matraman Dalam III, Central Jakarta. Consequently, the process of recording, reporting, and managing zakat becomes faster, more organized, and more efficient.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze and compare the performance of the K-Means and K-Medoids algorithms in clustering Cookpad application user reviews obtained directly from the Google Play Store. A total of 15,330 reviews were collected as a representation of authentic user opinions. The review text was first processed through a pre-processing stage, then converted into a numeric representation using the TF-IDF method. The clustering process was carried out using the K-Means and K-Medoids algorithms, which were then evaluated using the Silhouette Score metric, both on the original data and after removing outliers with the DBSCAN algorithm. The results showed that K-Medoids performed better with a score of 0.2788 (with outliers) and 0.2966 (without outliers), compared to K-Means which obtained a score of 0.2625 (with outliers) and 0.2795 (without outliers). The clusters formed were dominated by positive reviews with words such as "cook", "help", and "recipe", which describe user satisfaction. This study provides a systematic approach to analyzing Google Play app reviews by directly comparing two clustering algorithms and integrating outlier evaluation to improve the quality of cluster results. The limitation is that the data only comes from one platform. The results are visualized through an interactive web interface and are expected to be input in developing application features based on user needs.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze public sentiment towards the Indonesian National Team during the 2023 Asian Cup through Instagram comments, using the Indonesian-language Transformer model. A total of 21,045 comments were collected from the official @timnasindonesia account and filtered into 17,829 comments worthy of analysis after going through preprocessing processes such as text cleaning, case folding, normalization, tokenization, stopword removal, and stemming. Comments were then automatically classified into three sentiment classes, namely positive, negative, and neutral, using the Indonesian Sentiment Lexicon (InSet). Three Transformer models were used, namely IndoBERT, IndoRoBERTa, and DistilBERT Multilingual, and compared to the baseline SVM + TF-IDF. The evaluation used accuracy, precision, recall, and F1-score metrics. The results showed that IndoBERT (learning rate 5e-5) gave the best performance with an accuracy of 0.8897 and an F1-score of 0.8859, outperforming other models. The analysis was conducted by considering the typical challenges of Instagram comments such as slang, abbreviations, emojis, and mixed use of Indonesian-English. These findings validate the effectiveness of the monolingual Transformer model for Indonesian, which is still rarely compared systematically in the context of social media. These findings can also be used by the management of the Indonesian National Team or sports policy makers to evaluate public responses in real-time, as well as being a reference in developing an adaptive and contextual public opinion analysis system.

Abstract

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Lhokseumawe struggle to respond to customer comments on the TikTok platform due to limited human and technological resources. This study aims to develop an automatic TikTok comment classification system using a fine-tuned IndoBERT model. The system classifies comments into two main aspects: category (product, price, location, service, etc.) and sentiment (positive, negative, neutral). The dataset used includes 329 comments for category classification and 241 for sentiment classification, collected through web scraping using Selenium and enhanced using synonym-based data augmentation. Evaluation results show that the IndoBERT model achieves an accuracy of 82.07% for category classification and 97.51% for sentiment classification. In comparison, the LSTM model only achieves 59.09% and 73.47% on the same tasks. This system significantly reduces the average response time from 12–24 hours to under 5 minutes. The research contributes to improving customer service efficiency and strengthening digital marketing strategies for local MSMEs on social media platforms.

Abstract

Digitalisasi dalam tata kelola koperasi menjadi salah satu upaya untuk meningkatkan efisiensi dan transparansi administrasi di lingkungan pemerintahan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh dukungan organisasi terhadap penggunaan aplikasi SIPON KKPKK berbasis web di Kota Semarang dengan menggunakan pendekatan Technology Acceptance Model (TAM). Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menentukan apakah variabel dukungan organisasi, perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, attitude toward using, behavioral intention to use, dan actual system use berdampak pada kemudahan penggunaan SIPON KKPKK. Kebaruan dalam penelitian ini terletak pada penambahan variabel eksternal berupa dukungan organisasi yang dianalisis pengaruhnya terhadap dua konstruk utama dalam TAM, yaitu perceived usefullness dan perceived ease of use, yang selanjutnya memengaruhi attitude toward using, behavioral intention, dan actual system use. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode analisis Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS) melalui perangkat lunak SmartPLS 4.1. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa semua konstruk dalam model memiliki nilai path coefficient yang signifikan dan mendukung asumsi dasar TAM. Temuan ini memberikan implikasi penting bagi pengambil kebijakan dalam memperkuat dukungan organisasi guna meningkatkan adopsi sistem informasi berbasis website di sektor koperasi.

Abstract

This study aims to design and develop an educational visual novel game themed around environmental and climate change issues using Ren'Py, a Python-based engine. The game was developed using the Game Development Life Cycle (GDLC) method, which consists of six stages: initiation, pre-production, production, testing, beta, and release. The test subjects consisted of 15 teenagers aged 14–16 years living in RT 14, Jalan Swadaya 1, Manggarai, South Jakarta. The trial results showed that the game successfully attracted user interest and effectively conveyed educational messages related to climate change issues. User evaluations indicated an increase in understanding of environmental topics, active engagement with the branching narrative, and an enjoyable learning experience through integrated minigames. The game is considered suitable for wider publication as an interactive and reflective digital learning medium for teenagers. In addition, functional testing using the blackbox testing method on 10 main features demonstrated that all features performed successfully (100% functionality achieved). Thus, this educational game is expected to serve as an alternative medium to help teenagers better understand the importance of environmental conservation and awareness of climate change impacts.
