Abstract

Operating a smart board in class requires teachers to remain near the screen, limiting mobility while teaching. This study develops a wearable IMU gesture interface for hands-free presentation control using a Tiny Machine Learning (TinyML) approach. The system consists of an MPU6050 sensor (6-axis IMU) and an XIAO ESP32-S3 microcontroller mounted on a glove, recognizing five gesture classes: idle, flick_up, wave_left, wave_right, and flick_down. Three architectures—Random Forest (RF), Multi-Layer Perceptron (MLP), and 1D Convolutional Neural Network (CNN1D)—were evaluated on a dataset of 5,258 gesture windows from 7 users at a 100 Hz sampling frequency. Leave-One-Subject-Out (LOSO) cross-validation was used to measure cross-user generalization. RF achieved the highest accuracy of 93.91% (±8.98%), followed by MLP at 92.64% (±8.59%) and CNN1D at 88.95% (±14.91%). On the ESP32-S3, MLP recorded the best inference latency (0.14 ms), followed by RF (2.20 ms) and CNN1D (106.23 ms), with 100% stability over a 5-minute real-time test of 100 inferences. Gesture predictions were transmitted to the smart board application via Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) Nordic UART Service. These results indicate the preliminary feasibility of wearable IMU-based TinyML for hands-free presentation control in smart classroom environments.

Abstract

Traffic accidents are a serious problem in Gunungkidul Regency, with more than 947 recorded incidents throughout 2025. This study aims to analyze spatial distribution patterns of accidents, identify risk cluster characteristics, determine black spot locations, and formulate mitigation recommendations. The method includes Risk Index calculation using Weighted Risk Assessment with five criteria (C1-C5), followed by the K-Means clustering algorithm validated using the Elbow Method to determine the optimal number of clusters (k=3) and the Silhouette Score (0.6645) to measure cluster quality, as well as QGIS-based spatial visualization. The results on 500 sample data show that the optimal number of clusters is k=3 with a Silhouette Score of 0.6645. Cluster 1 (low risk) includes 164 data (32.8%), Cluster 2 (medium risk) 273 data (54.6%), and Cluster 3 (black spot) 63 data (12.6%). Statistical validation using the Kruskal-Wallis test showed significant differences between clusters (H=419.5850; p<0.001). The main black spots are concentrated on the Wonosari-Yogyakarta Road, Patuk and Playen segments. This study produces specific mitigation recommendations for each risk cluster.

Abstract

Facial skin problems are common health conditions that can reduce quality of life and self-confidence. At least 12 types of facial skin disorders are commonly encountered in beauty clinics, including dermatitis, xerosis cutis, acne vulgaris, hyperpigmentation, and rosacea. Limited access to medical services, busy schedules, and cost considerations prevent many people from directly consulting dermatologists. This study aims to build a web-based expert system using the Certainty Factor method to support early identification of facial skin disorders based on 20 compiled symptoms. System development adopted the Extreme Programming (XP) methodology, and the system was designed to produce diagnostic output along with relevant treatment recommendations based on symptoms reported by users. Expert confidence weights were obtained through interview sessions with medical staff at Naavagreen Clinic Pamulang. System usability evaluation was conducted using the System Usability Scale (SUS) method involving 78 respondents. The SUS score of 73.49 falls into the acceptable category, indicating that this system is suitable fo use as a supporting tool for early self-detection of facial skin problems

Abstract

Effective inventory control is a crucial element in a company's logistics operations to achieve financial efficiency. CV. Cahaya Mitra Pratama currently relies on manual recording alongside an existing historical system, resulting in two main problems: double-entry redundancy that risks stock data discrepancies, and the absence of an optimal ordering analysis mechanism that leads to overstock and stockout risks. This research aims to design and develop a web-based Inventory Management System implementing the Economic Order Quantity (EOQ), Safety Stock, and Reorder Point (ROP) methods using the Laravel framework and MySQL database. Calculation validation was conducted through a comparative analysis between the company's conventional inventory policy and the EOQ model calculations. Black Box Testing of system functionality showed Valid results across all 15 test scenarios, while System Usability Scale (SUS) testing involving 30 respondents yielded an average score of 72.83, categorized as Acceptable with Grade Scale B (Good). The developed system successfully eliminated recording redundancy and produced more efficient ordering recommendations compared to the conventional policy.

Abstract

Digital transformation has positioned websites as critical components of public service delivery, data management, electronic transactions, and system integration, increasing the need for effective website security management that supports Indonesia's cybersecurity regulations. This study aims to analyze and prioritize website security risks by integrating the Penetration Testing Execution Standard (PTES), OWASP Top 10:2025, NIST SP 800-30, and the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP). A mixed-methods approach was employed by combining qualitative and quantitative analyses. Penetration testing was conducted using the PTES framework, and the identified vulnerabilities were classified according to OWASP Top 10:2025. Risk assessment was performed based on the likelihood and impact parameters defined in NIST SP 800-30, while AHP was applied to determine mitigation priorities. The results identified 28 security vulnerabilities consisting of 2 high-risk, 12 medium-risk, and 14 low-risk findings. The risk assessment results were subsequently integrated into a Laravel-based Decision Support System (DSS) that calculated criterion priority weights using AHP—with Impact (0.470859) as the most dominant criterion, followed by Exploitability (0.284013), Likelihood (0.171483), and Ease of Mitigation (0.073645)—thereby establishing an objective and measurable risk mitigation priority ranking. The proposed model supports website security decision-making, aligns with the risk management principles of ISO/IEC 27001, and has the potential to be adopted by other government institutions to strengthen information security governance.

Abstract

TikTok has become a widely used social media platform for discussing adolescent mental health issues through user comments. These comments contain valuable information related to discussion topics and emotional expressions, yet the large volume of data makes manual analysis inefficient. This study analyzed 2,153 TikTok comments to identify dominant topics and classify user emotions. The research process involved text preprocessing, Term Frequency–Inverse Document Frequency (TF-IDF) weighting, topic modeling using Latent Dirichlet Allocation (LDA), and emotion classification using Support Vector Machine (SVM). The results showed that the LDA model successfully identified several dominant topics, including bullying, family pressure, friendship issues, and economic problems. Furthermore, the SVM model classified emotions into joy, sadness, and anger categories with an accuracy of 97%, precision of 97%, recall of 97%, and F1-score of 96%. These findings indicate that the combination of LDA and SVM proved to be effective for identifying discussion topics and classifying emotions in TikTok comments related to adolescent mental health.

Abstract

The diverse Linux ecosystem complicates the selection of suitable distributions for users, particularly beginners. This study develops Distromatch, a web-based Decision Support System recommending from 30 Linux distributions using TOPSIS, enhanced with Bayesian shrinkage adjustment and user-level preference penalty as a soft constraint mechanism. Its five-stage pipeline includes criteria weight normalization from user questionnaires, TOPSIS calculation, Bayesian shrinkage, user-level preference penalty, and final ranking. Functional testing confirmed system operation, and domain expert validation for three user profiles (beginner, intermediate, advanced) showed contextually valid Top-5 recommendations, consistent with the Linux ecosystem. Bayesian shrinkage proved to be effective reduced bias for distributions with limited reviews, while soft constraints ensured level-mismatched distributions appeared in rankings with reduced scores. Calculation transparency is provided via an audit page.

Abstract

UMKM Kopi Muria Wilhelmina faces challenges in managing marketing data manually and has not yet utilized historical sales data to support production planning. This study aims to develop a web-based Marketing Management Information System using Laravel, MySQL, and the Waterfall method, as well as to compare the Simple Moving Average (SMA), Weighted Moving Average (WMA), and Double Exponential Smoothing (DES) methods based on MAD and MAPE values. The data used consists of 41 sales periods from January 2023 to May 2026 across three top-selling products. The results show that the DES method produces the smallest MAPE for Kopi Wilhelmina Gold at 48.00% and Kopi Wilhelmina Arabica at 54.35%, while the WMA method produces the smallest MAPE for Kopi Wilhelmina Black at 63.41%. The high MAPE values are attributed to demand fluctuations and the consignment distribution pattern. The system automatically recommends the method with the smallest MAPE value for each product. Blackbox Testing confirmed that all system functions performed as specified. The developed system successfully integrates marketing data management and forecasting features in a single platform to support production decision-making in small and medium enterprises.
