Abstract

In today's business competition, educational institutions or courses require optimizing profits. However, this is not easy because, in its implementation, there are many priority objective functions that must be fulfilled. In this case, the course institution has different class programs, namely literacy, numeracy, and math olympiad programs, with various operational costs per program type and course fees per program type. This problem requires setting priorities because of the limited number of revenues, operating costs, and profit targets. In this paper, the researcher uses Winter's Exponential Smoothing forecasting model to determine the number of students, operating costs, and profits in the following year. Then the researcher analyzes the planning with the goal programming method to minimize the deviation of the multi-objective programming. This research shows that the number of student admissions who can meet market demand for January 2021 decreased by 5.41%, in February decreased by 3.20%, in March decreased by 1.29%, April remained constant, in May increased by 1.44%, June increased by 2.16%, July increased 2.82%, August increased 2.78%, September increased 3.47%, October increased 3.22%, November an increase of 3.33%, and for December an increase of 2.69%. The total operational cost that does not exceed the target limit is Rp. 30,475,0000 for one year. The total profit has reached the target to be achieved, which is Rp. 322,150,000 for one year.

Abstract

Caring for chili plants in addition to fertilization is proper watering. Watering is sometimes done less regularly in this case is the timeliness other than that the temperature and soil moisture are not paid attention to by the chili plant keepers. Moreover, if the chili plant keeper has other activities, then the watering of the plants will be more irregular, making the production of chili plants not optimal and even chili plants can die. By utilizing Arduino and several supporting sensors, we can determine the right watering time. In this research, data is taken from sensors, such as soil moisture sensors, air humidity sensors, temperature sensors and ultrasonic sensors which then the data will be sent to the website to be displayed to the user. Sensors are devices used to detect changes in physical quantities such as pressure, force, electrical quantities, light, motion, humidity, temperature, speed and other environmental phenomena. The purpose of this study was to measure soil moisture, air humidity, temperature as a determinant of the right watering time for chili plants and make it easier for farmers to monitor and water chili plants. This is evidenced in the Blackbox testing method on the system design, from the test results it is known that this system has been running well and is in accordance with what is expected.

Abstract

Good project management is a crucial factor for the smooth implementation of projects in an application development organization. Management activities carried out manually have the potential to result in errors in data processing, and it is difficult to monitor project progress, which often results in time and financial losses. This research was conducted to overcome this problem by building a project management system based on the Scrum method using the Laravel framework and applying a multiple linear regression algorithm in estimating time for each project activity with parameters of the number of people involved and the type of work, as well as competency mapping on the recommendations in the human resource allocations. The Scrum method is used because of its flexibility and fast adaptability to the system development process. The result of this research is a software development project management system that helps organizations in allocating human resources and time management. The resulting multiple linear regression model obtains a Mean Absolute Error (MAE) of 349.97. Descriptive analysis conducted on user responses stated that user responses were positive towards the use of the project management system.

Abstract

Pattern recognition is one of the sciences used to classify things based on quantitative measurements of the main features or properties of an object. Pattern recognition has been widely used in various fields of research. One of the pattern recognition that is often discussed is facial recognition. The face is one of the human biometrics that is often used as the main information of a person. Face recognition is a field of research with many applications in applications such as attendance, population data collection, security systems, and others. The research utilizes feature extraction of PCA (Principal Component Analysis), and K-NN (K – Nearest Neighbor) with variations of the distance formula by applying facial recognition attendance at the Safiatul Amaliyah School. This research is expected to get accurate results in detecting, recognizing, and comparing a person's face with a small error rate. The distance formula with accuracy level is presented with the equation Cityblock < Euclidian < Minkowski < Chebychev. The effect of applying the variation of the distance formula on the performance of the facial attendance recognition model is not too big, but it is better.

Abstract

At the beginning of 2020, precisely in March 2020, the government announced that Indonesia was affected by the Covid-19 outbreak. Since then, Indonesia has also been faced with a pandemic period, where all sectors of life have been affected, including the education sector. The primary school of MI Sirojul Athfal 1 Bogor conducts learning from home, this causes a lack of effective learning between teachers and students, and teachers find it difficult to determine student achievement. The Decision Support System (DSS) is one system that is able to assist researchers in making decisions accurately and in accordance with the objectives in determining outstanding students at the school. The Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) is capable of solving complex multi-criteria problems. From the results of this study and calculations carried out using the Expert Choice tool, it was concluded that the highest priority score was obtained by Muamar students with a value of 0.447. From this study, the results of the CR hypothesis for all criteria value are less than 0.1 or less than 10%, therefore the overall hierarchy produces consistent values.

Abstract

Bireuen is one of the regencies in Aceh province which has quite a lot of potential for marine and fishery resources, both capture fisheries and aquaculture, because some areas in this district are coastal areas supported by several fish landing bases (PPI), namely PPI Kuala Jangka, Kuala Jeumpa, Peudada, Jeunip, Pandrah, and Bate Iliek which are supporting sectors of the regional economy. The importance of this research is so that the Department of Food Security, Maritime Affairs and Fisheries can estimate the catch of fish in the coming year so that it can be used in terms of policies to increase the fishery production sector. The method used in information systems research to predict fishery results Multiple Linear Regression Algorithm using two independent variables (X), namely, the number of motorized boats (X1), the number of rainy days (X2) and one dependent variable, namely the number of fish caught (Y). ). The steps taken in this research are data collection, calculation of each variable, completion of the elimination method, substitution to get constant values, coefficients and inserting constants and coefficients into the Multiple Linear Regression equation. Based on data obtained from 2016, 1017, 2018, 2019 and 2020 using the Multiple Linear Regression algorithm, the prediction results of the Tangka fishery in Bireuen Regency in 2021 are 12,813.88 tons.

Abstract

Analysis Teacher performance assessment is very decisive in the quality of teaching and learning, This has an effect at the high-satisfactory of college students in information the fabric provided. The problem at the time of the study was that the teacher's performance assessment did not involve students, both assessments were carried out manually by filling out the teacher's learning performance satisfaction form. Therefore, the need for a model in the assessment and the results obtained are not subjective. The development in this study applies the topsis model where the results of this model can provide recommendations for school principals in Teacher Performance Assessment. The application of this topsis model provides a solution/policy in teacher assessment by students which is seen from the ranking results in the form of superior, very good, good and unsatisfactory in the success of providing material. The purpose of this study is to facilitate, supervise, control and see the assessment of the learning performance of SMK Negeri 1 Lhokseumawe teachers in the analysis of information technology-based teacher assessment with a desktop-based topsis model. The results showed that the first rank with a value of 0.616 lia amalia, the second rank with a value of 0.614 and the third rank with a value of 0.605 on behalf of Nazaruddin. The consequences of this test are obtained from the assessment of the topsis version of the trainer's performance.

Abstract

Competition in running a business at this time is tight, companies that do not utilize technology will be left behind from their competitors. Therefore, it is necessary to implement technology such as the System Information Management into the company’s business processes. This research was conducted at one of the developing companies in city of Batam named “CV. Sanjaya Abadi Baru”. In this research, the author uses research method called Agile Scrum, this research method is a popular method to manage application development project and helps in building application quickly, this method uses Backlog as a list of features that need to be implemented, Sprint as a time cycle rule in working on a task and the Daily Scrum to update the work process on daily basis. Author also includes diagram design, detailed design, implementation result, and system testing. The conclusion result from this research is that the system information management built for CV. Sanjaya Abadi Baru is proven to be more effective and efficient than the old company system in the company's business processes to store, process data and obtain information that influences decision making within the company and helps prospective customers to get the information needed more quickly, precisely and accurately.

Abstract

Rukun Warga 06 Jatisari Bekasi City is a government agency that has direct contact in serving residents. One of the services provided is the submission of complaints in the surrounding environment and the preparation of cover letters for various purposes. The service system provided can be said to be still conventional, and manually documented. With the current system, of course, it is still quite inconvenient for residents, especially when submitting complaints to the surrounding environment because it is not well documented so that follow-up is still not optimal. besides that, there are also problems that occur if residents want to submit a cover letter. The application of information system technology for citizen services will greatly help to make the system even better. Therefore we need an application that can be accessed anytime and anywhere to create a more optimal service. E-Lapor is a web-based application that is intended to help maximize citizen services. The application is designed using UML and built with HTML & PHP programming languages, as well as for interface design using CSS and for the database it is MySQL. Testing this application using black box and usability testing with results showing that the application is functioning properly, in accordance with the design that has been made.

Abstract

Along with the times, communication technology has developed so that it is currently included in the Fifth Generation (5G) Communication System. The 5G communication system is divided into three frequency categories, namely low band, middle band and high band. One of the important devices in the telecommunications sector is the antenna. Antenna serves to send and receive electromagnetic signals at a certain working frequency. Currently, antennas have been completely integrated into the needs of modern society. One type of antenna that can support the needs of today's technology is a microstrip antenna. This antenna has several advantages, especially in its antenna compact design, low profile configuration and affordable manufacturing costs. In this article, a microstrip antenna is designed with the spiral labyrinth  method that works at a frequency of 3.5 GHz for 5G communication system. Propsosed antena designed using RT Duroid R5880 with dielectric constant ( ) 2.2, dielectric loss (loss tan) 0.0009 and thickness (h) 1.57 mm. The simulation results show the reflection coefficient -29.58 dB, VSWR 1.069, gain 6.432 dB at frequency of 3.5 GHz . Spiral labyrinth  has been succesfully reduced patch antenna and enclosure until 22.5%  and 24.8%, respectively.
