Abstract

This paper aims to update the conventional attendance system. The focus of this final assignment is: (1) Creating an electronic attendance machine with biometric sensor based on Microcontroller Atmega328, (2) Renewing conventional attendance method into digital absence, and (3) Determining employee performance based on absenteeism. In making of this final task, the writer uses microcontroller atmega328 as main control center, fingerprint reader as main input, LCD as time information viewer on real time clock circuit, and series of SD card module as database system used to store information at the time of absences. Based on the results of the testing of the design of electronic attendance based on atmega328 microcontroller is as follows, the first can be used as a substitute for conventional absorption taking system. This is because the tool is equipped with fingerprint reader sensor so that in absenteeism cannot be represented. In addition, this tool also has been equipped with RTC as a timer system that will record the delay of each user on this tool. the second process of taking attendance (reviewer) can only be done after the user perform the registration process.

Abstract

The problem of teenagers in that world associated with early health, early circulation, difficult cancer, HIV / AIDS and increased STIs. The writing of this article is to know and examine the efforts and programs that have been conducted by various countries in providing information on issues relating to the three issues of adolescent reproductive health (Sexuality, HIV / AIDS and Drugs). The method used in the journal using EBSCO, Proquest, Sciencedirect, google scholar published from 2002 to 2018. The result of the literature review is the knowledge of sexual health education portrait for which has been done by various countries namely: Integration of Sexual Education in all strata of education, Counseling Sexual Education by Specialist Doctors, School-based Counseling is accompanied by Parents. The correlation of sex education in schools by teachers wants to apply in the home associated with parents despite the need for regular consultation to specialist doctors such as doctors, pediatricians and doctors of venereal diseases. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan merancang dan membangun aplikasi virtual reality gedung jurusan Teknologi Informasi Politeknik Negeri Padang berbasis Android. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif dimana strategis yang digunakan adalah Design and Creation. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode pengumpulan data observasi. Pengujian yang digunakan adalah menggunakan VR BOX. Hasil dari penelitian ini berupa aplikasi Virtual Reality Gedung Teknologi Informasi yang dapat menjadi media penyampaian informasi terhadap perguruan tinggi. Aplikasi ini sudah memvisualisasikan objek gedung beserta properti didalam gedung Teknologi Informasi, desain aplikasi menarik, informasi yang disajikan sebatas penetahuan umum. Virtual dapat berjalan dalam objek gedung dengan menggunakan kontrol pada kamera dan user mengendalikan untuk memulai atau berhenti.

Abstract

This paper discusses the use of buck converter for battery charging using solar power sources. The nominal voltage of the battery used is 12 Volt and the output voltage of the solar panel without load is 22.68 Volts. Buck converter is used to reduce the output voltage of the solar panel and to control the stability of the output voltage is used Atmega 8 microcontroller. From the test results, the buck converter output voltage is stable at a value of 14.4 volts even though the input voltage is changed. Apart from that, the duration of battery charging is very much determined by weather changes that affect the ability of solar panels to produce energy for battery charging

Abstract

Abstract: A meta-analysis was conducted to synthesize existing studies comparing the effects of Problem Based Learning and virtual laboratory versus traditional instructional media on student learning outcomes. Sixty-three studies were placed in this meta-analysis, and the results showed that Problem Based Learning and virtual laboratory learning media were more effective than instructional methods. The results of this study indicate that Problem Based Learning and virtual laboratory learning media clearly have a more positive effect on student learning than instructional methods. Abstract

One type of information system that is currently experiencing rapid development is RFID (Radio Frequency Identification). The system is used to provide high flexibility, easy to use, and is highly suited to activities that require automation. This system has also been used to replace the Barcode system function which is considered less flexible especially in the case of tracerability. This paper aims to explore the potential application of RFID in agriculture, both in technological developments, what applications can be used with RFID, constraints and Prospects. This is to assist in directing the agricultural sector in accordance with revolution 4.0, in order for agriculture in the small area primarily, able to compete in globalization. The method used is a review of the research journal in connection with RFID, and its application in the World of Agriculture. Of the 100 Journals downloaded, only about 53 Journals are in line with the purpose of this review. The source of JUrnal is. Abstract

Kebutuhan informasi kesehatan yang akurat dan terkini semakin dibutuhkan seiring perkembangan teknologi informasi. Media sosial telah menunjukkan perannya dalam upaya promosi kesehatan di dunia. Untuk itu penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjawab 1) urgensi pemanfaatan media sosial dalam bidang promosi kesehatan 2) Jenis media sosial yang digunakan dan kelemahannya 3) peran profesional bidang kesehatan melakukan promosi kesehatan berbasis media sosial. Penelurusan jurnal internasional dengan mesin pencarian 1) google scholar 2) since dirrect 3) sage publication 4) elsevier publication. Dari menelusuri 100 jurnal publikasi internasional, 85 jurnal yang relevan dengan topik yang dikelompokan menjadi 35 jurnal pemanfaatan media sosial, 33 jurnal karakteristik media sosial yang digunakan serta kelemahannya dan 17 jurnal peran profesional kesehatan dalam melakukan promosi kesehatan berbasis media sosial. Hasil Penelusuran mengungkapkan media sosial berkontibusi positif terhadap upaya promosi kesehatan, namun beberapa kelemahan antara lain: kurangnya penjangkauan terhadap audien pasif, informasi palsu dan tidak akurat, kurangnya interaksi dengan audien, keterbatasan kemampuan profesional kesehatan memanfaatkan media sosial sehingga tidak menjamin keberlanjutan program. Profesional bidang kesehatan perlu merancang model promosi kesehatan berbasis media sosial dengan mengintegrasikan media sosial dengan strategi promosi kesehatan serta strategi komunikasi kesehatan.

Abstract

Sebuah desain bangunan yang baik harus memperhatikan karakteristik geografis, kondisi lingkungan dan iklim setempat dimana bangunan didirikan. Salah satu faktor penting yang dapat mempengaruhi kenyamanan termal bangunan adalah pengaruh inersia termal tanah dan material selubung bangunan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisa pengaruh inersia termal tanah terhadap perubahan temperatur dan kenyamanan penghuni didalam ruangan. Pada bagian pertama, karakteristik bangunan dan pemodelan numerik akan dijelaskan yang dilengkapi dengan data iklim lokasi dimana studi kasus dilakukan. Perpindahan panas yang terjadi dari bangunan menuju tanah dan sebaliknya digambarkan secara detil pada bagian selanjutnya dengan menggunakan pendekatan model perpindahan panas tiga dimensi. Hasil simulasi numerik menggunakan TRNSYS (R) menunjukan bahwa inersia termal tanah berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap suhu dan kenyamanan ruangan. Tanah dengan konduktivitas dan kapasistas termal yang baik mampu menurunkan tingkat ketidaknyamanan ruangan hingga 21.9%.

Abstract

Kenagarian Barung Barung Belantai Selatan District of Koto XI Tarusan an expansion in 2009 villages of the parent Kenagarian Barung Barung Belantai. This area has a huge agricultural potential such as gambier plant, nutmeg, clove, rubber especially durian abundant. The abundance of this potential can be seen along the road Padang to Painan, many traders durian, and this is the main attraction for people who come to visit the Pesisir Selatan. Visitors would stop by for a taste of durian famous delicious and sticky. Each harvest durian fruit durian abundance so that the selling price is sometimes cheaper. Not to mention the cost of transport to bring durian harvest from the farm/plantation residents require huge costs. As a result, residents sometimes let alone durian harvest wasted. State University of Padang conducted training for mothers of households made into various processed durian cake durian and wingko durian. Wali local village residents can expect to process durian become typical food and souvenirs from this area so as to increase family economy and to support the development of the tourism of Pesisir Selatan.

Abstract

Susahnya lapangan pekerjaan menyebabkan banyak terjadinya pencurian dan tindak kriminal lainnya. Salah satu tindak kriminal lainnya yang sering terjadi pada saat ini adalah pencurian didalam rumah. Untuk memperkecil kemungkinan terjadinya pencurian didalam rumah dibuatlah sebuah sistem keamanan rumah yang menggabungkan mikrokontroller dengan smartphone android dan magnetic door switch sensor, mikrokontroller yang digunakan adalah arduino uno yang dilengkapai dengan sim808. Sim808 akan menghasilkan notifikasi berupa suara, SMS dan akan mengirim data ke database server, hasil yang dikirim ke database dapat dilihat melalui sebuah aplikasi yang menampilkan kapan pintu terbuka. Dengan sistem keamanan rumah ini memungkinkan untuk memgetahui kapan pintu terbuka ketika sedang tidak dirumah.
