Abstract

PERBANDINGAN KADAR KALIUM BISULFAT (K2SO4) PADA KENTANG BEKU OLAHAN BERMEREK DAN TIDAK BERMEREK Ir. Nastiti  Kartikorini, M.Kes.Prodi D3 Analis Kesehatan UM Surabaya AbstractFrozen potato is one of the processed potato prefer the physical quality of appearance, crispness and color. So it is necessary to increase the quality of frozen potatoes, especially related to shelf-life durability. Potassium bisulfate is an added food ingredient used as a preservative in frozen potatoes. Therefore, researchers wanted to conduct research to compare the levels of potassium bisulfate in processed frozen potato branded and unbranded. This research is analytic obsefasional, where this study aims to compare the levels of Kalim bisulfate in processed frozen potato branded and unbranded. As materials research, the researchers took samples of processed frozen potatoes, amounting to 6 samples branded and unbranded, amounting to 10 samples tested at the Research Institute and Consulting Industry Surabaya, East Java. Based on the results of research and data analysis, the statistical test with SPSS method. From normality test and then do different test-free t test. From the research results, obtained an average grade Potassium bisulfate (K2SO4) on branded processed frozen potatoes was 465.5 mg / kg, whereas the processed frozen potato unbranded was 569.9 mg / kg. After the test data is performed, it is known that the t value of 1.964 with sig. (P) = 0.074 which is greater than 0.05 then there is no difference in the levels of potassium bisulfate (K2SO4) on frozen potato branded and unbranded (HO accepted). From the results of research and discussion is done, it can be concluded that the results of research that has been done there is no significant comparison between the levels of potassium bisulfate (K2SO4) in processed potato branded and unbranded, where all the results of this study the positive (+) containing potassium bisulfate (K2SO4).Keyword : Frozen potato,   Potassium bisulfate

Abstract

HUBUNGAN JUMLAH EOSINOFIL DENGAN INFEKSI LARVA CACING TAMBANG  PADA PENAMBANG PASIR DI DS. BRENGGOLO  KECAMATAN KALITIDU BOJONEGORO. Dr.dr. Hartono Kahar, Sp.PK., MQIH. Prodi D3 Analis Kesehatan UM Surabaya Abstract Eosinophils are white blood cells that play a role of granulocytes in the category of the immune system to fight infections and some multicellular parasites on vertebrate creatures. Eosinophils also control the allergic mechanism in the bone marrow, eosinophils will enter the bloodstream and stay in the blood only a few hours, then go into the tissues throughout the body. If a foreign substance enters the body, it would be detected by lymphocytes and neutrophils, which will release the material to attract eosinophils into this area. Eosinophils that occurs in miners exposed to infectious worm larvae will release toxic substances that can kill parasites or worms mines and destroy abnormal cells.The purpose of this study is to determine the relationship of the number of eosinophils with hookworm larvae infection in sand miners in the village. Brenggolo District Kalitidu Bojonegoro. This research uses analytic correlational design using cross sectional (relationships and associations). The number of samples is 49 miners in Ds. Brenggolo Kalitidu Bojonegoro District. By using a random sampling technique ie by random sampling without regard to strata that exist in members of the population.The survey results revealed most of the sand miners eosinophils increased by (44.9%) miners and miners sand worm larvae as much positive (55.1%) miners. Chi Square test calculation results with SPSS statistical test obtained obtained hasi p = 0, the count X2 = 0.000 <a = 0.05, which means that H0 is rejected. Thus it can be said there is a relationship eosinophil count against worm larvae on the sand miners in the Village District Brenggolo Kalitidu Bojonegoro. Keyword : Eosinophils, hookworm larvae infection

Abstract

  ABSTRAK Cockroaches are one of the most common types of insects around our neighborhood, and it is one of the most dangerous insects because some species of cockroaches are known to transmit disease in humans such as tuberculosis, typhoid, asthma, cholera, and hepatitis. Eradication of cockroaches can be done physically and chemically, the use of chemical-based insecticides can cause respiratory problems. In an insecticide drug containing natural ingredients contain essential oils, the content of essential oil compounds serve as an anti-insect drug on citronella. This study aimed to determine the effect of essential oils of citronella fragrance to cockroaches. This type of research was experimental. The population in this study were cockroaches (Periplaneta americana) obtained from the houses of villagers of Tanjung, Sampang, Madura. The total sample was 32 adult stage cockroaches. Data analysis was using free T test with error rate of  5% or 0,05.The results showed that cockroaches stopped moving with an average of 15.75. Based on T test results showed the significant results of 0.00 which was smaller than 0.05 then H0 was rejected Ha was accepted. It can be concluded that the essential oils of citronella fragrance have an effect on the death of cockroaches. Keywords: Cockroach, Essential Oil Of Citronella Fragrance (Cymbopogon nardus)

PENGARUH PERASAN LIDAH BUAYA (Aloe vera) TERHADAP PERTUMBUHAN  Staphylococcus aureusFitrotin Azizah, SSTAkademi Analis Kesehatan UNMUH Surabaya Abstract                                                                                     Lidah buaya (Aloe vera) is one efficacious medicinal plants to cure various diseases. Extract Lidah Buaya (Aloe vera) has various activities such as antibacterial against Staphylococcus aureus, Klebsiella pneumoniae, Mycobacterium tuberculosis. Staphylococcus aureus can cause an infection, it is necessary to research on antibacterial effect of aloe vera on the growth of Staphylococcus aureus. This type of research is experimental in order to determine the concentration of the smallest on Aloe vera juice can inhibit the growth of Staphylococcus aureus bacteria. The study design used is the Experimental Design posttest only. Based on the study, the concentration of aloe vera juice 100%, 90%, 80%, 70%, 60%, 50%, and 40% can inhibit the growth of Staphylococcus aureus. While the concentration of Aloe vera juice 30%, 20%, 10%, and 0% growth of Staphylococcus aureus occurs. The results Aloe vera juice 40%, 50%, 60%, 70%, 80%, 90%, and 100% showed no growth of Staphylococcus aureus occurs. Whereas at a concentration of 0%, 10%, 20% and 30% showed growth of germs. There is the influence of the concentration of aloe vera juice (Aloe vera) on the growth of Staphylococcus aureus.Keyword : Aloe vera, Staphylococcus aureus

IDENTIFIKASI SPESIES JAMUR PADA RUMAH MAKAN DI KAWASAN STASIUN GUBENG SURABAYA Diah Ariana, ST, MKesdiah0101@gmail.comProdi D3 Analis Kesehatan UM Surabaya                                                                        Abstract Gubeng Station Surabaya is a railway station (Railway) is the largest in Surabaya and the departure KA (Railway) main Surabaya. City restaurant in the station Gubeng Surabaya is the proposition to consume food and beverages for the passengers and employees at Station Gubeng Surabaya. Not all rooms in Surabaya Gubeng station or air-cooled rooms and well ventilated or air conditioned if the room should be sealed room for the cool room conditions. While in the room that is not refrigerated room is generally open to the wind and air and the room was not stuffy. From both of these can affect dust in the air entering the space station that are not refrigerated or cooled. Until now, this has not been studied how the room is viewed from the existence of diverse species of mangingat every day do the activity in any room especially the restaurants in the station surabaya Gubeng. This type of research is descriptive. The population sample was dust in the air contained in the restaurants in the station Gubeng Surabaya. Time studies carried on from the 6th of January to complete. Variable research is mushroom species and its operational definition is a genus of fungus that is found in a restaurant in the station Gubeng Surabaya based on the results of examination by means cultured or breed with SDA media. The results of this research are as much as 100% of the restaurants in the area Gubeng station Surabaya contaminated mushroom species. There are 3 types of fungal species were identified, namely 26 Aspergillus sp. (86.6%), 3 species of Microsporum sp. (9.99%), and 1 species of Penicillium sp. (3.33%). Mushrooms of the most contaminated in the restaurant at the station Gubeng Surabaya is Aspergillus sp.Keyword : fungi, Gubeng Station Surabaya

PENGARUH KONSENTRASI PERASAN MENGKUDU (Morinda citrofilia Linn) TERHADAP PERTUMBUHAN Shygella disenteriaeDiah Ariana, S.T, M.Kes.Diahariana0101@gmail.com D3 Analis Kesehatan UM Surabaya AbstractMengkudu (Morinda citrofilia Linn) Indonesia is known as a medicinal plant that can treat a variety of diseases. This study  to determine the effect of noni juice concentration on the growth of Shigella dysenteriae, the bacteria that causes the disease shigellosis (bacillary dysentery). The design of this study used an experimental design to test laboratory, noni juice obtained by weighing 100g were still ripe noni fruit (puti yellowish color and texture is still hard) and washed, blender 100gr noni plus 100ml of sterile distilled water, filtered with sterile gauze and then Stril put in a test tube, back in autoclav sterilized for 15 minutes at a temperature of 1210C that noni juice is really sterile. Inhibition test with freshly made juice dilution method at concentrations of 100%, 50%, 25%, 12.5%, 6.25%, 3.13%, 1.57% and 0.78%, followed planted in the media Muller Hinton Shigella to know whether it is growing or not growing, Statistical data analysis using Chisquer test on α = 0.05. The test results showed λ2 Chisquer count> λ2 table, then Ho is rejected. The results showed 12.5% of concentration - 100% can inhibit the growth of Shigella dysenteriae while the concentration of 0.78% - 6.25% solid not inhibit the growth of Shigella dysenteriae, so it can be concluded that the noni (Morinda citrofilia Linn) can inhibit the growth of Shigella dysenteriae and noni efficiently used for dysentery patients because of the concentration of 12.5% was able to inhibit the growth of Shygella dysenteriae. Abstract

Indonesia with the title gemah ripah loh jinawi is never separated from the wealth of its natural resources, especially on the type of flora. Indonesia is rich in the types of medicinal plants one of which is a Keji beling plant. The Keji beling plants by the community are used as anti diabetic, diuretic, antisipilis, antioxidant, antimicrobial, and laksatif. A research has been conducted to determine the effectiveness of the vermicelli leaves (Sericocalyx crispus linn) in inhibiting the growth of Staphylococcus aureus. This study was experimental laboratory consisting of 24 samples with 6 treatments with 4 replications. The concentration of the vermicelli leaves is 0%, 10%, 25%, 50%, 75%, and 100%. The method used in this research is dilution method. Data were analyzed by ANOVA analysis at 5% error rate (α = 0,05). The follow-up test uses Tukey's Honest Significant Difference (Tukey's HSD) test. The results showed that the vermicelli leaves are effective in inhibiting the growth of Staphylococcus aureus. The concentration of the best Keji beling leaves that can inhibit the growth of S. aureus is at 100% concentration because only 19 colonies grow. While the minimum inhibitory power is obtained at a concentration of 75%. Key word :  Keji beling leaves, Staphylococcus aureus

Abstract

 ABSTRACT Examination of blood glucose levels 2 hours pp is required to diagnose diabetes mellitus. Currently many clinical laboratories, hospitals and clinics are still modest usually use tool for the examination of blood glucose levels is by glucometer that emit relatively fast results. In contrast to the large hospital and clinical laboratories that have been developed have used the analyzer tool as an advanced tool that can check more parameters clinical examination which will get accurate results. To the authors want to prove whether there are differences in the results of blood glucose levels 2 hours pp using glucometer and analyzer. This research is experimental. The population in this study were patients with diabetes mellitus in hospital Throughout Siti Khadija. The samples used were serum and whole blood from the blood vena.Variabel free is the way 2-hour blood glucose tests using a glucometer and analyzer pp and the dependent variable is the blood glucose levels 2 hours pp. While the operational definition, examination of blood glucose 2 hours pp by using 2 kinds of tools, namely glucometer and analyzer. Methods of data collection of 20 samples taken from patients with DM in Hospital Khodijah Throughout Siti. To know the results used paired t test. The results showed that there were significant differences between the glucometer and glucose analyzer examination 2 hours pp based on the results of paired t test with sig value greater than 0.05 and the average levels of the glucometer 207.65 mg / dl and analyzer 193.85 mg / dl. Abstract

Analisa Kadar Gula (Sukrosa) Buah Mangga Berdasarkan Varietasnya Ir. Nastiti Kartikorini, M.Kes.Prodi D3 Analis Kesehatan UM Surabaya AbstractMangga (Mangifera Indica Linn) merupakan buah tropis yang kehadirannya di dunia perbuahan, Indonesia khususnya dan dunia umumnya, masih tetap populer. Karbohidrat daging buah mangga terdiri dari gula sederhana, tepung, dan selulosa. Gula sederhana yaitu sukrosa, glukosa, dan fruktosa. Gula tersebut memberikan rasa manis dan tenaga yang dapat segera digunakan oleh tubuh. Zat tepung mangga masak lebih sedikit dibandingkan dengan mangga mentah, karena tepung yang ada telah banyak yang berubah menjadi gula. Mangga memiliki banyak varietas ada yang menyebutkan setidaknya terdapat 2.000 jenis mangga di dunia. Ada beberapa buah mangga (Mangifera Indica Linn)  yang terkenal,  antara lain mangga gadung, mangga kweni, mangga arum manis, mangga manalagi, mangga lalijiwo, dan mangga madu. Rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini berapa kadar gula buah mangga berdasarkan varietasnya. Dari hasil penelitian menunjukkan rata-rata kadar gula sukrosa yaitu 24,89% mangga madu, 16,13% mangga manalagi, 7,96% mangga gadung, 20,21%  mangga kweni dan 35,83% mangga harum manis. Analisis secara statistik dengan uji Annova signifikan p = 0,000 adalah < 0,05, maka Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima yang berarti ada perbedaan kadar gula (sukrosa) buah mangga berdasarkan varietasnya.Keyword : Sukrosa, Mango

PERBEDAAN KADAR KETON URIN PADA PEMERIKSAAN SEGERA DENGAN PEMERIKSAAN YANG DITUNDA Dr. dr Hartono Kahar, Sp.PK. MQIH Prodi D3 Analis Kesehatan UNMUH Surabaya AbstractUrine examination is a common examination done by a health care analyst at the laboratory. From the results of this examination can know about kidney disorders, urinary tract and some metabolic functions of the body. The length of delay in the laboratory examination of urine greatly affect the results of the analysis, it is because some of the content in the urine may change in case of delay in the examination, such as ketones. The volatile nature of the ketone, the urine is used fresh urine. In clinics and hospitals in general, there is still a delay examination of the urine. Formulation of the problem in this study is whether there are differences in levels of ketones urine examination on examination with the examination immediately suspended, while the purpose of this study to investigate the influence of long delays on the results of urine ketone levels. The hypothesis of this research is that there are differences in levels of ketones in the urine examination with the examination immediately suspended. The research method used was experimental. The population of this research is all the urine that has been available in hospital laboratories Pamekasan district that has shown positive results ketones with accidental sampling technique. The variable in this study was the examination time and urine ketone levels with a sample of 16 urine samples. From the results of the study with a 30-minute time delay obtained 14 urine samples (87.5%) with high levels of ketones and 2 negative urine samples (12.5%) with very low levels of ketones. From the results of these data, wilxocon tested and the results obtained with a value of Z = -3.624 significant value 0.000 <0.05 or 5%, so it can be concluded that there are differences between the levels of ketones urine samples examined immediately by a delayed.Key word : Urine examination, ketones
