PERBEDAAN KADAR TRIGLISERIDA PADA PENGKONSUMSI KOPI DAN BUKAN PENGKONSUMSI KOPI Dr. dr. Hartono Kahar, Sp.PK. MQIH. Prodi D3 Analis Kesehatan UM Surabaya AbstractCoffee is a beverage that is loved by the people of Indonesia. Coffee can increase LDL and triglycerides (Royyak, 2010). Triglycerides are a type of lipid (fat) found in the blood. When we eat, our bodies change partially unused calories into triglycerides. Triglycerides are stored in the fat cells of the body, if stored too long will be cholesterol and accumulate in the blood vessels, causing constriction of blood vessels and increase the risk of heart attack. Formulation of the problem in this study is Are there differences in the levels of triglycerides in coffee drinkers and non-coffee drinkers ?. The purpose of this study to determine differences in triglyceride levels in coffee drinkers and non-coffee drinkers. Type of research is observational with a total sample of 30 samples. 15 samples for coffee drinkers and 15 samples for non-coffee drinkers. Samples are healthy people who are accustomed to consuming coffee and rarely consume coffee every day. Types of coffee are consumed coffee mashed. The results showed average levels of triglycerides in the coffee drinkers of 245 mg / dl and the average levels of triglycerides in non-coffee drinkers of 113.33 mg / dl. Statistical analysis using the t-test showed that the levels of triglycerides free at coffee drinkers was higher than non-coffee drinkers. Keyword : coffea, LDL

HUBUNGAN JUMLAH EOSINOFIL DENGAN INFEKSI LARVA CACING TAMBANG PADA PENAMBANG PASIR DI DS. BRENGGOLO KECAMATAN KALITIDU BOJONEGORO. Dr.dr. Hartono Kahar, Sp.PK., MQIH. Prodi D3 Analis Kesehatan UM Surabaya Abstract Eosinophils are white blood cells that play a role of granulocytes in the category of the immune system to fight infections and some multicellular parasites on vertebrate creatures. Eosinophils also control the allergic mechanism in the bone marrow, eosinophils will enter the bloodstream and stay in the blood only a few hours, then go into the tissues throughout the body. If a foreign substance enters the body, it would be detected by lymphocytes and neutrophils, which will release the material to attract eosinophils into this area. Eosinophils that occurs in miners exposed to infectious worm larvae will release toxic substances that can kill parasites or worms mines and destroy abnormal cells. The purpose of this study is to determine the relationship of the number of eosinophils with hookworm larvae infection in sand miners in the village. Brenggolo District Kalitidu Bojonegoro. This research uses analytic correlational design using cross sectional (relationships and associations). The number of samples is 49 miners in Ds. Brenggolo Kalitidu Bojonegoro District. By using a random sampling technique ie by random sampling without regard to strata that exist in members of the population. The survey results revealed most of the sand miners eosinophils increased by (44.9%) miners and miners sand worm larvae as much positive (55.1%) miners. Chi Square test calculation results with SPSS statistical test obtained obtained hasi p = 0, the count X2 = 0.000 <a = 0.05, which means that H0 is rejected. Thus it can be said there is a relationship eosinophil count against worm larvae on the sand miners in the Village District Brenggolo Kalitidu Bojonegoro. Keyword : Eosinophils, hookworm larvae infection

PERBEDAAN KADAR KETON URIN PADA PEMERIKSAAN SEGERA DENGAN PEMERIKSAAN YANG DITUNDA Dr. dr Hartono Kahar, Sp.PK. MQIH Prodi D3 Analis Kesehatan UNMUH Surabaya AbstractUrine examination is a common examination done by a health care analyst at the laboratory. From the results of this examination can know about kidney disorders, urinary tract and some metabolic functions of the body. The length of delay in the laboratory examination of urine greatly affect the results of the analysis, it is because some of the content in the urine may change in case of delay in the examination, such as ketones. The volatile nature of the ketone, the urine is used fresh urine. In clinics and hospitals in general, there is still a delay examination of the urine. Formulation of the problem in this study is whether there are differences in levels of ketones urine examination on examination with the examination immediately suspended, while the purpose of this study to investigate the influence of long delays on the results of urine ketone levels. The hypothesis of this research is that there are differences in levels of ketones in the urine examination with the examination immediately suspended. The research method used was experimental. The population of this research is all the urine that has been available in hospital laboratories Pamekasan district that has shown positive results ketones with accidental sampling technique. The variable in this study was the examination time and urine ketone levels with a sample of 16 urine samples. From the results of the study with a 30-minute time delay obtained 14 urine samples (87.5%) with high levels of ketones and 2 negative urine samples (12.5%) with very low levels of ketones. From the results of these data, wilxocon tested and the results obtained with a value of Z = -3.624 significant value 0.000 <0.05 or 5%, so it can be concluded that there are differences between the levels of ketones urine samples examined immediately by a delayed.Key word : Urine examination, ketones

Abstract

Thrombocytopenia, leukopenia, and monocytosis are laboratory parameters in the diagnosis of dengue virus infection. In addition to monocyte cells, mast cells also play a role in the innate immune response, where degranulation of mast cells will occur, which will secretion the active vaso mediator, Chymase. Chymase has a role in increasing vascular permeability resulting in plasma leakage in patients with dengue virus infection to determine the number of platelets, leukocytes, monocytes and chymase levels in patients with dengue infection in the acute phase. The platelet count mean in NS1 (+) was 132,140 cells / mm3 and the platelet count in the NS1 group was (-) 176,000 cells / mm3. The mean leukocytes NS1 (+) showed results of 4,350 cells / mm3 and NS1 (-) 5,250 cells / mm3. The mean monocyte NS1 (+) monocyte count was 8.26%, and NS1 (-) group was 8.76%. There were no significant differences in platelet counts, leukocytes and monocytes between NS1 (+) and NS1 (-) (P value> 0.05). The mean Chymase NS1 (+) 23.48, NS1 (-) 23.05 ng / mL and the control group 1.47ng / mL.

Abstract

AbstractSGPT examination is one of the important checks on the state of a particular patient, for example, in patients with liver disease, hepatitis, and so forth. The other purpose is to detect the presence of liver damage. So there was an effect in the event of an increase in maupaun drop in levels. And the serum circumstances that do not qualify, such as serum hemolysis, will greatly affect the actual levels of ALT. Based on the research background, the authors formulate the problem as follows: "Is there any effect of hemolysis on SGPT levels as one of the parameters of liver function?". The purpose of this study is to prove whether there is an influence of hemolysis on SGPT levels as one of the parameters of liver function. The sample was 20 samples and 20 samples of hemolysis hemolysis. Location and time of the research conducted at Muhammadiyah Hospital Clinical Laboratory Lamongan ie in January and July. Of the 20 samples analyzed, showing that levels higher than the hemolysis ALT SGPT levels no hemolysis. When the serum through lysis will experience a significant increase. To test the effect of hemolysis on SGPT levels paired t test was used because the data from this study with normally distributed. The results of a paired t test analysis between serum hemolysis and no hemolysis on levels of serum ALT levels showed a significant value 0.00 thus P <0.05 it can be concluded that there is no difference between the levels of ALT SGPT levels of hemolysis with hemolysis. That means there is the influence of hemolysis on SGPT levels as one of the parameters of liver function. Key word : hemolysis, glutamate pyruvate transminase

Abstract

AbstractThe trend of dengue virus infection in Indonesia has changed from children to older groups. Some studies suggested that different gender might affect the different progression of dengue infection, but its mechanism was unclear. This study analyzed the difference by evaluating the daily thrombocyte count pattern. An analytic observational study with a retrospective design was conducted using the secondary data collected from medical records in Dr. Soetomo General Hospital Surabaya during 2017-2018. The samples were adult patients in the age range of 18-55 years old with DHF but without comorbidity or coinfection. The total number of samples was 40 patients. The average of thrombocyte count in both male and female patients decreased since the 3rd day of illness and reached the lowest level on the 6th day of illness then increased on the 7th day but did not reach the normal range. Although the majority of thrombocyte count in females was lower than males, there was no significant difference in thrombocyte count pattern between them. Keyword: Adult, DHF, Thrombocyte, GenderCorrespondence : heny-a@fk.unair.ac.id

Abstract

Highlight:Adiponectin is an important protective factor for cardiovascular disease and increased insulin sensitivity.Ketogenic diet effect on adiponectin level in mice besides decrease weight gain was determined. The difference in serum adiponectin level and body weight is uncorrelated. Abstract:Ketogenic diet is a popular diet to reduce weight gain quickly. This diet has become a lifestyle . The ketogenic diet has been reported to affect adiponectin level, although it is still contraindicated. Adiponectin is a biomarker for metabolic disease that plays an important role as a protective factor for cardiovascular disease and increase insulin sensitivity. This study aimed to explore the effect of the ketogenic diet on adiponectin level in mice, besides decrease weight gain. This study was an experimental laboratory study with a randomized post-test-only control group design. Fourteen male mice (20-30 g) aged 2-3 months were divided randomly into K1 (n=7, standard diet) and K2 (n=7, ketogenic diet), were given diet for eight weeks, ad libitum. Body weight was measured at the pre and post-intervention, whereas adiponectin level were measured at the post-intervention using ELISA. The statistical analysis using SPSS version 16. The Shapiro Wilk test was used to determine normality, Independent T-Test was used to determine mean difference for normal distribution, Mann Whitney Test was used to determine mean difference for abnormal distribution, and Pearson Correlation was used to determine correlation. Difference (∆) of body weight on K1 (12.00±6.26) g, K2 (1.29±7.41) g with p=0.02. Serum adiponectin level of K1 (0.082±0.014) µg/ml and K2 (0.096±0.008) µg/ml with p=0.035. This study showed ketogenic diet-induced higher serum adiponectin level and slower weight gain. There is no correlation between the difference in body weight and serum adiponectin level (p=0.403).
