Abstract

Client’s request for traffic problems is so huge that causes the single server difficult in handling the traffic load. Therefore, the system of load balancing is required as it is a technique to equally distribute the traffic load on the two or more connection lines so that the traffic can run optimally. Thus, the load balancing is crucial to implement by using Modified Weighted Round Robin-Retrieve Packet on the Software-Defined Networking. Based on the parameter of average response-time in time limits 0.1, 0.2, and 0.3 seconds, the scores were 0.016-0.04, 0.02-0.04, and 0.014-0.032 seconds consecutively. Based on the parameter of data transaction per second in time limits 0.1; 0.2, and 0.3 seconds, the scores respectively were 49.614-111.306, 41.678-107.032, and 37.806-102.84 data transaction/second.

Abstract

Kerahasiaan data atau informasi merupakan hal yang sangat penting untuk dijaga dari seseorang yang tidak berhak atas data tersebut. Salah satu solusi untuk pengamann data adalah dengan steganografi. Steganografi merupakan ilmu untuk penyisipan informasi rahasia ke dalam pesan yang lain. Pada penelitian ini, konsep steganografi menggunakan pesan teks yang disembunyikan ke dalam suatu citra digital. Citra yang digunakan adalah citra dalam bentuk grayscale. Penelitian dilakukan sebanyak 5 kali dengan ukuran pesan teks yang berbeda-beda. Hasilnya, system steganografi berjalan dengan baik dimana semua pesan teks dapat dienkripsi dan didekripsi kembali. Running time akan semakin tinggi ketika ukuran pesan teks semakin besar dan begitu juga dengan nilai entropy sehingga tingkat keamanan dari proses steganografi ini semakin tinggi. Kata Kunci: Steganografi, XOR, running time, entropy.

Abstract

Rekomendasi kolaborasi penelitian antardomain dapat diperoleh melalui dokumen publikasi ilmiah seperti judul, abstrak, dan bibliografi. Oleh karena itu, proses ekstraksi topik riset dari seorang peneliti merupakan tahapan penting. Model topik berbasis kata belum dapat merepresentasikan topik dengan baik sebab urutan kata pada dokumen tidak diperhitungkan. Penelitian ini mengusulkan sistem rekomendasi kolaborasi antardomain dengan metode Cross-Domain Topic Learning (CTL) Berbasis Frase. CTL Berbasis Frase terdiri dari tiga fase utama: (1) transformasi dokumen dari format bag-of-words menjadi bag-of-phrases, (2) pemodelan topik terhadap frase yang sudah dibentuk untuk mengetahui distribusi probabilitas keterkaitan peneliti dengan topik, (3) perangkingan rekomendasi kolaborasi dengan random walk with restart. Pengujian sistem terhadap domain Visualization dan Data Mining pada dataset  AMiner menunjukkan bahwa CTL Berbasis Frase lebih baik daripada CTL berbasis kata. Terdapat pengingkatan nilai precision sebesar ±10% pada 10 rekomendasi teratas dan ±5% pada 20 rekomendasi teratas.

Abstract

History belongs to a compulsory element in the teaching and learning at school. It can help students to know and more appreciate the past events. The number of history materials taught at school sometimes causes difficulty for students to learn. The lack of facilities and learning media which can attract student’s interest becomes the main factors of student’s difficulty in learning Social Science. Learning medium is very vital to determine what materials students can learn. One of solutions to solve difficulty in learning history is by creating new learning medium in the form of educational game as it can arouse student’s ability in thinking. One of the games teaching history particularly the history of Surabaya is Dreamcatcher: War of Surabaya. This game was designed based on historical events in Surabaya composed in an attractive story. It is completed with quiz to improve student’s memory. Game “Dreamcatcher: War of Surabaya” can be played with android platform and it is considered successful in teaching the history of Surabaya as it could improve students’ abilities on Surabaya history by 113.7% based on the results of pre-and post-tests.
