Abstract

Institut Teknologi Adhi Tama Surabaya (ITATS) is an institute that has relatively wide territory and complicated building arrangement for outsiders especially related to identification of buildings that they want to visit. To overcome this problem, an android based application that can be used to gain information related to those buildings, locations of places or important places in real-time is required. Augmented Reality (AR) is the appropriate technology to display environment and locations information at ITATS in real-time. The implementation of Augmented Reality technology on android based smartphones using Speeded Up Robust Features (SURF) can identify pictures continuously and has proper identification speed. Speeded Up Robust Features (SURF) is an algorithm that has been commonly applied in correspondence matching because it is faster than Scale Invariant Feature Transform (SIFT) and has appropriate and accurate performance maintenance. In designing this application, there are three main stages that should be considered, namely: initialization, tracking marker, and object rendering. Initialization is the stage where images that becomes the database is preliminary processed with Speeded Up Robust Features (SURF) algorithm and  the preparation of the displayed information on the users’ smartphones. The second is tracking marker, smartphone camera takes pictures continuously while processing every inputted image applying Speeded Up Robust Features (SURF) and conducting matching process of images in the database. The final stage, after a match is found, this application displays the text information which corresponds with the matching result. The reliability of this system in recognizing locations at ITATS is 81.66% and average time required is 2.333 seconds.

Abstract

Diabetic retinopathy is one of diabetes mellitus on eyes which causes permanent blindness. Microaneurysm becomes its sympthom which is signed by a spot with dark red in circle shape. A detection system on microaneurysms is designed to help medical experts. This research employed matched filter method to detect microaneurysms. Matched filter refers to one of matching template techniques. Microaneurysms have intencity profile in Gaussian, therefore a Gaussian matched filter can be used for detecting them. The searching on the sensitivity, specificity, and accuracy was calculated by ROC (Receiver Operating Characteristics). The research results obtained from 30 retina images of DIAETDB1 showed the average levels of sensitivity 64.53%, specificity 99.94%, and accuracy 99.90%.Keywords: Diabetic Retinopathy, Microaneurysm, Matched Filter, Gaussian Matched Filter, ROC, DIARETDB1.

Abstract

Berkembangnya teknologi informasi pada semua jenis bidang, salah satunya pada bidang pendidikan dimana pihak sekolah dapat memanfaatan teknologi informasi tersebut untuk memudahkan kinerja sekolah, khususnya pada saat penerimaan peserta didik baru. Perancangan Aplikasi Penerimaan Peserta Didik Baru pada Sekolah Menengah Pertama (SMP) Fatahillah Kabupaten Bekasi dibuat bertujuan untuk mempermudah dalam mengelola data penerimaan peserta didik baru agar proses penyajian data yang berkenaan dengan data penerimaan peserta didik baru dapat terselesaikan dengan cepat, tepat dan akurat. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam perancangan aplikasi ini adalah dengan menggunakan metode research and development. Selain itu, sistem yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah sistem waterfall. Pada sistem ini, terdapat beberapa tahapan yang harus dilakukan diantaranya menganalisa kebutuhan, perancangan, implementasi dan pengkodean serta pengujian. Perancangan Aplikasi Penerimaan Peserta Didik Baru ini tercipta dengan dukungan bahasa pemrograman Java serta database MYSQL dan XAMPP. Dari hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan, diperoleh bahwa aplikasi penerimaan peserta didik baru dapat memenuhi kebutuhan dalam suatu proses penyajian data peserta didik baru yang cepat, tepat dan akurat serta efektif dan efisien.Kata Kunci: Perancangan aplikasi, Penerimaan peserta didik, Java, MYSQL.

Abstract

Zuper futsal field rental is a business entity engaged in the field of rental services that require the existence of an information system. Information systems in a company play an important role in the progress and management of a company as well as in the zuper rental system that is to be able to support and provide satisfactory services to each customer. The system that exists in some futsal fields in general is still simple with menual management, most of the problems that are often encountered are the process of recording data and transactions requiring a long time. The possibility of errors in writing a data and the security of the document is not guaranteed, because many lost documents will make it difficult for you to do a data search or report printing. Designing an application in the form of a program that functions to process and simplify business processes that occur on the Zuper futsal field, starting from the data processing of tenants, leasing transactions, to printing reports are expected to be the best solution to solve problems that exist in a business entity to support efficiency and the effectiveness of working on a field rental

Abstract

Permasalahan yang sering terjadi sekarang ini adalah tekanan air yang menurun pada saluran air saat beberapa kran dibuka sehingga hal itu menyebabkan pengisian air yang cukup lama. Agar tekanan pada pipa konstan, maka solusi dari masalah ini yaitu diperlukan suatu sistem pompa air untuk mengatasi tekanan air yang menurun ketika jumlah keran yang dibuka bervariasi yang dapat dimonitoring dari jarak jauh pada sistem instalasi air. Pada Tugas Akhir ini dirancang sebuah sistem untuk mengatur tekanan pompa air pada saluran pipa air dengan menggunakan tiga valve berbasis Internet of Things (IoT). Parameter tekanan dibaca menggunakan sensor tekanan yang keluarannya diolah dan dikalibrasi menggunakan arduino uno. Hasil keluaran digunakan sebagai parameter untuk mengatur kecepatan pompa. Untuk memonitoring sistem ini menggunakan nodeMCU ESP8266 agar dapat mengirim data ke android. Data dari bagian sensor monitoring dan alat pengontrol akan diproses oleh nodeMCU ESP8266, kemudian data akan dipublikasikan sehingga dapat dipantau menggunakan android. Tampilan pada sistem monitoring ini dibuat pada mit app inventor. Sebelum menyalakan sistem maka diatur set point tekanan minimal, maksimal, dan batas kerja sensor. Ketika tekanan kurang dari set point yang ditentukan, maka kecepatan motor akan terus bertambah. Ketika tekanan tepat pada set point maka kecepatan motor tetap. Ketika tekanan lebih dari set point maka kecepatan motor akan berkurang, dan ketika tekanan melebihi batas kerja sensor maka motor akan mati. Dengan sistem ini maka tekanan pada pipa air minum bisa stabil sesuai kebutuhan. Kata Kunci: Pompa Air, Monitoring, Internet of Things (IoT), Sensor Pressure. Tekanan Stabil

Abstract

Abstract. Novel Method to Detect Failed TCP Connection on Receiving Host Based on Packet Inter-arrival Timeout. TCP use retransmission timeout (RTO) as a standard mechanism to detect connection failure. Nevertheless, RTO can only be used by the sending host, and not by the receiving host. Until today there is no standardized mechanism for the receiving host to detect connection failure. Meanwhile a study on internet traffic shows that majority of internet traffic is unidirectional. This means the receiving host in majority of internet traffic does not have a standardized method to detect connection failure. This paper propose a novel method to detect failed TCP connection based on history of packet inter-arrival time. Simulation using NS2 shows the effectiveness of the proposed method.Keywords: Failed TCP connection detection, receiving host, packet inter-arrival timeoutAbstrak. TCP menggunakan retransmission timeout (RTO) sebagai mekanisme standar untuk mendeteksi terputusnya koneksi. Namun RTO hanya dapat dimanfaatkan pihak pengirim data (sending host), sedangkan pihak penerima data (receiving host) tidak memiliki mekanisme untuk mendeteksi terputusnya koneksi. Sementara itu sebuah studi menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar traffic internet bersifat satu arah. Ini berarti pihak penerima data pada sebagian besar traffic internet tidak memiliki metode yang terstandarisasi untuk mendeteksi terputusnya koneksi. Penelitian ini mengajukan sebuah metode baru bagi receiving host untuk mendeteksi terputusnya koneksi TCP berdasarkan jeda waktu antar paket data (packet inter-arrival timeout) yang diterima. Simulasi menggunakan NS2 menunjukkan efektivitas metode yang diajukan.Kata Kunci: Deteksi terputusnya koneksi TCP, receiving host, packet inter-arrival timeout

Abstract

History belongs to a compulsory element in the teaching and learning at school. It can help students to know and more appreciate the past events. The number of history materials taught at school sometimes causes difficulty for students to learn. The lack of facilities and learning media which can attract student’s interest becomes the main factors of student’s difficulty in learning Social Science. Learning medium is very vital to determine what materials students can learn. One of solutions to solve difficulty in learning history is by creating new learning medium in the form of educational game as it can arouse student’s ability in thinking. One of the games teaching history particularly the history of Surabaya is Dreamcatcher: War of Surabaya. This game was designed based on historical events in Surabaya composed in an attractive story. It is completed with quiz to improve student’s memory. Game “Dreamcatcher: War of Surabaya” can be played with android platform and it is considered successful in teaching the history of Surabaya as it could improve students’ abilities on Surabaya history by 113.7% based on the results of pre-and post-tests.

Abstract

Dalam   upaya   meningkatkan   efisiensi   penyediaan  aplikasi   yang   mengandung   unsur pendidikan  maka diperlukan  berbagai  alternatif  dan  inovasi  baru  dalam  hal  pemrograman untuk  bisa  diterapkan  sebagai  alat  untuk  mempermudah  proses  pembelajaran.  Dengan adanya  Rancang Bangun Mobile Game Adventure Of Studies sebagai Media Pembelajaran  ini  diharapkan  untuk  meningkatkan  kemampuan  berfikir  anak dalam  proses  belajar,  bahwa  game  ini  sangat  berguna  di  bidang  pendidikan. Penyusun    memilih    anak-anak   dan remaja sebagai    target    pemain, karena    kesulitan    proses pembelajaran secara teoritis yang di ajarkan pada anak-anak dan remaja, mengingat mereka lebih suka bermain. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian dan pengembangan (Research and Development) yang menggunakan tahapan penelitian Analisis Kebutuhan, Desain dan Perancangan Game, Pengembangan Game, Implementasi atau Uji Kelayakan Game, Evaluasi Hasil. Pembuatan game dilakukan dengan menggunakan game engine Construct 2. Penerapan  game media pembelajaran   ini   diharapkan   dapat   mengatasi   masalah   tersebut.   Sehingga   di   saat   anak memainkan game ini secara tidak langsung dapat belajar, dengan harapan semangat anak untuk belajar akan lebih terpacu dan meningkatkan kualitas belajar anak.

Abstract

Indonesia is one of countries that produces several types of tobacco. Almost 80% tobacco produces is used of cigarette industry. Tobacco leaves slicing into small cuts is one of the process of cigarette production. The cutting process of tobacco requires Cut Cell which is able to cut tobacco into small pieces. Contol is required in the process of making cut cell to set the quality of the blade. The quality control often has problem in determining the Cut Cell quality. The problem is the length of time needed in determining the quality. In this fast paced era, the Quality Control is demanded to be able to determine the cut cell quality quickly and accurately. To support this need from the Quality Control, a system that can be used to determine the cut cell quality which has fast output result. The research process is started with collecting the system needs, followed by system designing, then system making, and system test. The system designing is initiated by preparing the test data and training data which are going to be used for the making and testing of the system. RADIAL BASIS FUNCTION consist of several calculation processes. The first  process is the process of center search of each variable using K-MEANS method. Aftar the center is found, the deviation standard of each variable is calculated. The second process is setting the GAUSSIAN matrix of every group found. The third process is the process of new weight and bias values search by doing pseudo-inverse GAUSSIAN matrix multiplication. The forth process is classification in which this process sets out the classication result by multiplying the value of GAUSSIAN matrix and new weight and bias applying network output formula. The experiment done to 75 experiment data which are compared to manual data as the reference result 12 different data, thus it can be concluded that the accuracy level of this system is 84 %.

Abstract

The process of delivering manufactured products to the hands of consumers, technically the product flow that occurs ie products in the form of finished goods will move from the factory warehouse to the consumer through a series of channels and distribution facilities. This distribution starts from the finished goods warehouse, distribution warehouse, retailer up to the wearer. The existence of various parties involved and coordinate in the flow of products from the factory to the consumer will form a system known as the supply chain system (Pujawan, 2010). Providers of fast products and services, the right time, and the desired conditions while still providing an optimal contribution to the company. Obstacles that are often encountered in the implementation of supply chain is the lack of coordination in terms of sharing information between the chain, thus causing distortion of information and trigger the occurrence of bullwhip effect that is a spike from the actual demand in the consumer level or downstream chain resulting in a very sharp spike at a far level from the upstream consumer or chain. The result of the bullwhip effect is the excess inventory, because demand is much smaller than the demand of the retailers, the unorganized production schedule, the unutilized production facilities optimally, because the production plan still has a high level of speculation. The use of information systems that have not been effective, causing the flow of information to be distorted or distorted, resulting in chaos in the flow of products that occur bullwhip effect and indirectly affect the cash flow of the company. The final result of the research is the application of Web-based Information Sharing System on the distribution channel that can be used efficiently and can provide information deviations that occur between the chains. The hope of stock monitoring results can be used as a control in looking at stock inventory in distributors and retail, so if there is a bullwhip effect, it will appear warning and immediately addressed by the distributor.Keywords: information sharing system, bullwhip effect, distortion of information.
