Today, Collection of image data on the Internet is growing rapidly in terms of quantity. In parallel with this a method of content -based image retrieval (Content -based image retrieval) is needed in the process of identifying and accessing visual information. Content -based image retrieval basically simulates the human perception of an image so that an error occurred in the text -based retrieval methods can be overcome. In this research, the image retrieval system is implemented with the extraction of low level features of the image. Low-level information used in this study is the color information contained in the image. Composition of color pixels in an image can be represented in a color histogram. The degree of similarity between the image color is determined based on the distance between the histogram using Laplace distance and Euclidean distance. The smaller the distance between the histogram, the higher the percentage of similarity of an image. Results of image retrieval through the database will be displayed according to the query by example method performed by a user, based on the sequence of images that have a higher percentage of similarity.

Adaptive fuzzy evolutionary algorithm control genetic parameters based on population diversity to avoid premature convergence. However, population diversity isn’t guaranteed achieving optimum global solution. This research aims to model adaptive fuzzy with fitness goals and analyze influence of genetic parameters, fuzzy, crossover and mutation technique towards case study DM food menu determination that has fitness goal as calorie needs. This research results show that adaptive fuzzy with fitness goals is able to produce solution that has fitness with good degree of accuracy. Crossover relies on fuzzy and mutation while fuzzy adaptive, chromosome mutation and larger population can produce better fitness.Keywords: Adaptive fuzzy genetic algorithm, Diabetes mellitus, Food menu, Fuzzy evolutionary, Xu model

This research focuses on designing lectures support system in the form of Learning Management System (LMS) at Atma Jaya Makassar University. The use of information system at Atma Jaya Makassar University is limited to support academic administration activities and still not support learning activities. This is due to the lack of information system provided by Atma Jaya Makassar University that can support the lectures at Atma Jaya Makassar University, especially self-directed learning based on Student Centered Learning (SCL). This research aims to design a system that is able to assist lecturer to provide learning materials, as well as support evaluation of students’s self directed learning. System development method used in this research is spiral method. Today, Indonesian people are not interested in learning and abandon their own culture. This is because Indonesian people have been influenced with technology and culture from another country. A cultural reading of Indonesian people are also still very low. This research designed to make application for learning about culture, especially traditional house South Sulawesi by implement Augmented Reality on a book as one of technology to help Indonesian people in studying the culture of traditional house South Sulawesi. An interactive display allows Indonesian people to interested in studying and obtain information with this application. The result of this research is the application for learning about culture traditional house South Sulawesi and book as one of the forms of learning media. With this research, Indonesian people can be helped to obtain information and learn culture of traditional house South Sulawesi with book as one of the forms of learning media. The use of cryptographic techniques and digital signatures is widely applied as a method to secure confidentiality and authenticity of data such as sending data over the internet network. on cryptographic, data that intent to be secret is disguised by changing the original data to unreadable format while the digital signature is used to check the authenticity of the message according to the source. Both of these techniques have weaknesses, but by combining these two techniques it will make confidential data more secure in secrecy and authenticity. The main discussion of this research is to create a data security application by combining cryptographic techniques and the use of digital signatures. The algorithm used is a Multi- encryption algorithm consisting of a combination of substitution and transposition algorithms and el gamal algorithm for document verification using digital signatures. The process that is done is to encrypt the message either typed directly into the application or from the text file that is loaded into the application. The results of this study are applications designed to meet information security needs, both protection against the confidentiality of information and protection against counterfeiting and changing unwanted information.Keywords: Cryphtograph, Multi-encryption, Digital Signature

One of the challenges faced by cement company is how to produce the final product in the form of cement as expected by the customer, both in terms of quality and quality, to maintain the trust of the costumer toward the product. The high of market demand lead to the need for the application of technology for the efficiency, in this case the application of bag weight statistics method to suppress or minimize the high case of overloaded or under loaded on the delivery ofcement packaging bags of 40 kg and 50 kg. The data in 2013, the total tonnage reaches over 128.831 tons per month. Potential of inefficiencies reaches 1.04 billion dollars. It does not include the distribution time wasted on re-checking. Bag Weight Statistics Method Using SAP ECC 6 inweighbridge is an effort to suppress the loss due to improper calibration system. This method observes the trend of weighbridge generated through monitoring SAP ECC 6 then take the lowest error values of the system as a reference. A university needs IT strategic planning to be able to guide the future development of the university, one of them is Atma Jaya University of Makassar. The IT Implementation at Atma Jaya University of Makassar is currently still minimal because it has not utilized information technology well and thoroughly for operational purposes. This is due to the absence of IT strategic planning for the long term. The previous research has designed IT strategic planning using the Mobile Enterprise Architecture Framework. The documentation results from IT strategic planning have some recommendations of IT projects that can be implemented. The priority selection of IT project becomes very important in achieving IT strategic planning that has been designed. This research applies Analytical Hierarchy Process and utilizing Expert Choice tools to get priority from 20 recommended IT projects that related with IT strategic planning. There are 7 criteria of IT project implementation that is obtained from Head of BAPSI UAJM. The result of this research shows that IT project which is the main priority to be implemented is the Development of Student Portal and Lecturer with the priority scale of 0.109 and the lowest priority IT project is the Procurement of LAN Cable (0.011) because the network infrastructure in UAJM is currently sufficient to support the designed IT strategic planning.Keywords: IT strategic planning, project priority, Decision Support System, Analytical Hierarchy Process

Parking system has been implemented in Universitas Atma Jaya Makassar (UAJM) still not well organized and controlled. In addition to which there were no control data to the vehicle of student, faculty and staff that can be used as an evaluation of parking guard on duty also can not set the vehicle in and out of UAJM the vehicle that incoming outgoing UAJM can not be identified anymore, increasing the likelihood of crime in UAJM. By building computerized parking system application, can help vehicle parking arrangement as well as provide information on the availabil of parking.In this essay, the author uses the Java programming language and database design using software design and UML (Unified Modeling Language).The existence of this research, it can solve the parking problem UAJM in addtion, the result of this study can be uses as a reference in other similiar studies.

This research aimed at improving the reliability of the system by developing a machine learning framework as a relevance feedback mechanism that aims to harness human perception in the training system to learn to map between the vector feature extraction results to the specifications given query. In the developed relevance feedback mechanism, users are involved in providing feedback to the system via the query by example (QBE) interface model. Basically, this module works with the user to decide how to involve the relevant results or irrelevant that emerged as a result of the system output user-defined queries. Then the machine-learning mechanisms will reformulate return query results based on user ratings and displays the new results. This process can take place iteratively until the user is satisfied on the relevance of the results obtained. Outcomes of this study will produce an image search system that can be integrated with information systems of third party services through the modules developed
