Abstract

This study aims to analyze the Determinant Consumption of Curly Red Chili in Households in Baturaja, Ogan Komering Ulu Regency. This research is a quantitative research, using primary data obtained from April to August 2018. The analysis technique uses multiple linear regression analysis, Research Results Shows when demand increases then prices also increase and vice versa. The price of substitution also affects when there is a decrease or increase in the substitution, the price of chili also experiences the same thing, while the number of families does not significantly affect the number of requests for dried chili.

Abstract

The main cause of infant mortality is Low Birth Weight (LBW). Basd on data obtained from the West Sumatra Provincial Health Office in 2015,  from 1376 case of 92.444 babies weighed, and there were 2,066 (2.2%) LBW in 2014. Growth and development of the fetus need vitamin D for cell and bone growth.The design of this study is cross sectional and conducted in Tanah Datar District in the working area of Puskesmas Simabur, Puskesmas Lima Kaum I, and in Puskesmas Lima Kaum II and Solok District in the working area of Puskesmas Talang, Puskesmas Gaek Jua and Puskesmas Tanjung Bingkung from January 2017 to March 2018. The study population was third trimester pregnant women with a population of 60 respondents, by multistage random sampling. Examination of vitamin D levels by ELISA method. Data were analyzed by univariate and bivariate with normality test.The result of this study that level are the average vitamin D content of 25.44 ± 10.49 pg / ml and the median weight of the baby born is 3000 gram. There was a positive relationship between vitamin D levels in pregnant women with birth weight (r = 0,463), (p < 0,05).The conclusion of this research is that there is a significant association between vitamin D levels in pregnant women with infants born weight in West Sumatra.

Abstract

Safety of patients, nurses, companions and visitors is the main priority of nursing services in hospitals, because quality services will have an impact on hospital accreditation assessments. This study aims to determine the relationship between the characteristics of nurses on the implementation of patient safety goals after accreditation of "X" hospital in the city of Palembang in 2018. This research is descriptive using quantitative methods with sampling techniques using purposive sampling consisting of 96 nurses in 10 wards inpatient "X" Hospital in Palembang city. The study was conducted from March 27 2018 to April 21 2018 using a questionnaire and was analyzed using a computer system. Based on the results of the study, it is known that the characteristics of 96 respondents with vocational education 97.9%, female sex 88.6%, age <35 years 51.1%, working period> 2 years 93.2%, and the implementation of patient safety goals 84 , 1% with details of good identification accuracy 70.8%, good effective communication 94.8%, good drug safety 76.0%, right procedure, location of patients operating both 87.5%, reduction in infection risk both 50.0% and reduction in risk of patients falling well 51.0%. While the results of the analysis used chi square, there was no relationship of gender, age and length of work to the implementation of patient safety goals after hospital accreditation. The implementation of patient safety goals must be carried out by all nurses in the hospital. It is expected that the hospital to build awareness of the importance of patient safety by supporting nurses in integrating activities oriented to patient safety by applying reporting systems, communicating, learning from experience and always prioritizing prevention of risks that will occur in order to improve quality services.

Abstract

The health system is a term that includes personal, institutions, financing, information, commodities and Government governance strategy in providing prevention and treatment services to the community. The health system was created with the aim of can respond to the needs and expectations of the community-owned healthcare in fulfillment of a fair and equitable. Then, good healthcare in developing countries as well as developed countries do need a reform, reorientation, and revitalization. This study aimed to know the comparison of health systems in developed and developing countries. Analysis study of the writing is done through literature review. Developing countries and developed countries experienced many challenges in building a strong health system and reliable. Health systems in developed countries look better compared to developing countries, it can be seen from the public health status and health problems. Health systems in each country vary greatly, but one has the same objective namely to enhance public health degrees extended. Every developed country or developing country has pros and cons of each of any health system that has been applied. The success of a health system of a country depends on the spirit, dedication, perseverance, hard work, good teamwork, ability (Human Resources, facilities), the sincerity of the organizers, as well as the participation of the community in order to achieve Universal Health Coverage in increasing degrees of better public health.

Abstract

One of factors that affect the growth of child is the nutritional status which determines the success in improving the quality of human resources. The health care and food in early life is crucial one to the growth and development of the child. This study aim to seek wheter the difference in child parenting between Jambi Malay and Javanese to the growth of children 6-24 months in Muaro Jambi District of Jambi Province is occured.The design of this study is observational analytic with cross sectional. The samples of the study were taken at two Working Areas of Health Care ; Muara Kumpeh for Jambi Malay and Markanding for Javanese Tribe. The population is children aged 6-24 months in both Working Areas of helath care and the number of samples taken in each area is 100 children. The data was collected through interviews and observations by researchers assisted by midwives in the helath care. Data processing was done using SPSS and data analysis using Mantel-Haenszel test.In this research, there is no disparity in parenting feeding methods (p = 0,227), while the analysis cannot be conducted on health parenting because there was a value of 0. Furthermore, there is no difference in parenting hygiene (p = 0.828), and there is a significant difference in parenting psychosocial stimulation (p = 0.000) in Jambi Malay and Javanese. In this study it can be concluded that there is a significant difference in the growth of the child 6-24 month at the Jambi Malay and Javanese. In addition, there is no difference in Jambi Malays and Javanese parenting to the grow of the child aged 6-24 month. So that,It is suggested to provide counseling and health  counseling to the mother and also involves other family members such as father.

Abstract

Divorcement rate in Banyuwangi district is the second rank in East Java province below Surabaya and third rank in national scale below Indramayu and Surabaya. In 2014, there are 7.106 cases that involve 6.798 couples. This research is aimed to identify the factors that cause divorce high rate in Banyuwangi district. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study design that using a phenomenological perspective. Purposive sampling method was used and the samples in this research were 40 widows and widowers from 4 sub-districts in Banyuwangi with the highest divorce cases. Data was analyzed with qualitative descriptive analysis.The results shows that divorce was be caused by internal and external factors.  Internal factors, namely economy (37,5 percent), responsibility (15 percent), and harmony (17,5 percent). Whereas external factors are infidelity (30 percent). The result of this study will be a recommendation in formulating a prenuptial education learning model based on family and school approaches in Banyuwangi district.

Abstract

The purpose of development is to create a prosperous society. This goal is inseparable from the role of Research and Depelovment Board in the development process. This research raises the issue of the role of the Balitbangda and the strengthening of the Regional Innovation System (SIDa) of Jambi Province. Data is collected by interview, observation and documentation. Then the data is analyzed using the triungulation method. The result is the Balitbangda is the secretariat for strengthening the Regional Innovation System of Jambi Province. The steps taken in the formation of the Coordination Team are by establishing the Jambi Province Regional Innovation System Socialization Team and conducting socialization. collaboration with the research institutions and Universities. Cooperating with industry. Strengthening the Regional Innovation System is realized will not run smoothly without close coordination between related parties, both those under the coordination of the government and private institutions and universities / research institutions. The Balitbangda's support in strengthening the Regional Innovation System (SIDa) of Jambi Province is by implementing Kelitbangan based on the needs of the industry and the community.

Abstract

Health literacy determines how well a person's health information to process in achieving desired health outcomes. In the implementation of the National Health Insurance socialization felt still less because there are participants who do not understand about the National Health Insurance. This study aims to determine the participants' health literacy analysis of National Health Insurance. This study uses a Mix Method model of sequential explanatory. Samples were JKN participants in the Puskesmas Simpang Kawat numbering 374 people with Simple random sampling. Where as research informants as many as 11 people were selected by purposive sampling. Quantitative research is known to most of the participants had low health literacy. Bivariate analysis showed a significant correlation between access to health services with literacy health (OR: 4.258, 95% CI 2.756 to 6.579) and there was a significant correlation between access to health information literacy health (OR: 22.864, 95% CI 13.357 to 39.137). In-depth information is obtained that socialization is rarely done and there is no schedule arranged at the center. There is still a lack of understanding of respondents JKN information. Socialization is done by the chief officer of health centers and PIC BPJS. Methods through debriefing and counseling to participants using leaflets media are limited. Puskesmas need to improve understanding JKN information to officers. So that participants can receive access to services at the same access to good information about JKN. This can affect the interaction between the participants in the health service and health centers.

Abstract

The objective of this study was to improve the quality of midwives in Indonesia through National midwife examination to answer the internal and global challenges of health higher education. Accreditation of tertiary education and the passing rate of low midwife's competency test with low minimum standard values can not answer the challenges. Researcher want to see how the phenomenon of midwife's competency test that is focused on the preparation. This research used qualitative design with a phenomenological approach. Data collection is taken through informants related to in-depth interviews, observation and document studies. Taking informants using the snowball sampling technique. The process of data analysis refers to the constant comparative method. The research shows that national midwife examination is currently not yet as the exit exam. The participant's preparation was problem resolved training and did try out. The school is contributed in early introduce the type of questions to students, tutoring, facilitation of try out and making questions but have not been carried out optimally and directed. Organizing national committees, preparation of questions, funding sources and preparation for the implementation of examinations are in accordance with the guidelines. Retaker is a problem that must be sought by all relevant parties regarding the issue of guidance and who is responsible. To answer the existing problems, it is better for national midwife examination to start as an exit exam and do “sit together” to discuss the development efforts of national midwife examination in Indonesia, including the problem of retaker.

Abstract

Discipline is a function of operational human resources management the most important because the better the working discipline employees the better performance is achieved. Factor affecting the discipline of work i.e. the motivation of working nurses to increase productivity, the characteristics of the individuals belonging to each nurse, as well as the existence of the application of the compensation is good for the welfare of nurses. This research aims to look at the description of the work discipline Hospitals Cikunir bekasi as well as find out how relationships work, the characteristics of individual motivation and compensation against the discipline of nursing work in a hospital Cikunir Bekasi. This research uses a quantitative approach with methods "Cross Sectional". The research sample is all over the nurses as much as 30 people were taken with the total sampling method.   Univariate analysis done subsequent to see frequency distribution, bivariat analysis using Pearson Correlation and multivariate analysis using multiple linear regression. The test results showed that the bivariate variables work motivation, compensation and individual characteristics have a significant relationship against the discipline of work. Whereas, in multivariate test of variables of individual characteristics, work motivation and compensation the most dominant effect significantly to the discipline of work i.e. the individual characteristics of the variable with a value of 0.002 0.546 Beta with significance.  To increase work discipline nurses RS Cikunir Bekasi, required the effort of increasing internal and external training of nurses and nursing career, improving the motivation of working nurses by providing a reward or promotion position in accordance with performance assessment the nurse.
