Ongoing global economic crisis could impact the public trust in government's ability to create a stable economy. Human greed impact on the environment and lead to the ongoing economic crisis. Hyper-competition among exporting countries to find new markets has been recognized as an attempt to resolve this crisis, but the country that can not compete in the search for new markets will choose to import goods than to make it by themselves, because it is considered more efficient. It is fatal impact on rising unemployment rate, causing a wider crisis. Until now two schools of the world economy, Keynesian and Hayekian have not overcome the crisis in Europe. Abstract

The way of thinking Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) implementation in Indonesia should be renovated to make a better change for the economic growth. Most of CSR activities is just a charity and often seen as a burden that impedes the company growth, and may impact on the growth of Indonesian economy. As reported in CSR Indonesia Newsletter vol.3 (2009) under Indonesian law, private companies are obliged to carry out CSR programs and State-owned companies are also bound by law to carry out CSR programs known as Partnership Program and Community Development (PKLB) although that is a good policy but most companies currently  view CSR as an obligation rather than a responsibility. Based on that reality, this article try to re-motivated especially the reader and in general for people in this country who become a stakeholders of a company have to be realized that this is the time to change the bad image of CSR. Stakeholders’ perception is the area of positioning the company image and this is an important part of business sustainability.

Abstract

The balance of shareholders and stakeholders in managing the company is in line with the principles of Good Corporate Governance (GCG). Companies sometimes require additional external funds to develop their business. Fulfillment of external funding needs can be obtained from banking and non-banking financial institutions. The study population was banking companies for the period 2011 - 2018 using double linear regression as a data analysis tool. The results of the study found that banking corporate governance and financial risk have implications for banking performance. The results found that banking corporate governance and financial risk have implications for banking performance. The GCG variables, Net Interest Margin (NIM), and Loan Deposit Ratio (LDR) have a unidirectional relationship with banking performance. The variables of Non Performing Loan (NPL) and Expense to Operating Income (ETOI) have an opposite relationship, meaning that banks must reduce non-performing loans and operating costs to improve their bank performance.

The goal of this study is to analyze the effect of financial performance and macroeconomic toward stock price of consumer goods industry. Panel Data Regression is used in this study to analyze the effect of financial performance and macroeconomic toward stock price. The result of this study shows the liquidity ratio (CR) has a significant and negative effect toward stock price, while the profitability ratio (ROE) has a significant and positive effect toward stock price. Macroeconomic inflation and exchange rate have a significant and positive effect toward stock price. Firms with high liquidity ratio (CR) have to control the liquidity ratio, because in the long term high liquidity has a negative effect toward stock price so the stock price may decrease. Abstract

The obligations to implement CSR in Indonesia is regulated in the Limited Liability Company Law. The disclosure of CSR implementation can be stated by the company in a sustainability report. The tax regulations in Indonesia do not directly regulate the term CSR. In addition, the implementation of CSR can be used as a means of tax avoidance by companies because there are costs for implementing CSR that are deductible. Therefore, this study was conducted to analyze the concept of CSR in the Indonesian taxation aspect, conduct a descriptive analysis of CSR disclosure in the sustainability report, and determine the effect of CSR disclosure on tax avoidance actions in the major financial company listed on IDX. The first result of this research is that the CSR obligation holders according to the Company Law are also the Subjects of Corporate Tax in the Income Tax Law. Costs related to the implementation of CSR have not been regulated directly in the Income Tax Law. However, there are some costs that are consistent with the CSR disclosure standards in GRI G4. Second, the average CSR disclosure by major financial service companies on the IDX is only 27.2%. Third, this study shows that CSR disclosure has no effect on tax avoidance.
