Abstract

This study examines the relationship between service quality, customer satisfaction, and customer loyalty in the context of Trans Mebidang public transportation, which serves Medan City, Binjai City, and Deli Serdang Regency. Using quantitative methods, data were collected through questionnaires from 399 users and analyzed using SEM with Smart PLS 4.1. The results highlight that service quality significantly influences customer satisfaction, which in turn positively affects customer loyalty. Furthermore, customer satisfaction acts as a mediator between service quality and loyalty, showing that higher satisfaction can enhance user loyalty. These findings emphasize the crucial role of service quality in shaping customer experiences and long-term engagement with public transport services. The study provides valuable insights for transportation service providers to prioritize service improvements and develop sustainable strategies aimed at increasing customer satisfaction and loyalty. Strengthening service quality is key to building a more reliable and user-focused public transportation system.

Abstract

The research is to examine the differences between digital banks and semi-digital banks in order to determine which type of bank is superior, as an evaluation of the implications of adopting a digital banking model as a necessity or merely an option. The research population includes commercial banks listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX), with a sample of 6 digital banks and 6 semi-digital banks. Data analysis using STATA version 17 based on financial performance indicators. The results indicate a significant difference based on the indicators of Debt to Asset Ratio, Debt to Equity Ratio, and Net Interest Margin while the Loan to Deposit Ratio, Capital Adequacy Ratio, and Non-Performing Loans didn’t show any financial performance differences between digital banks and semi-digital banks. These findings suggest that adopting a digital banking model is a strategic choice that should be carefully considered and aligned with the available resource capacity.

Abstract

Company performance serves as a key indicator for assessing a firm's level of success within a specific period, achieved through the synergy of various contributing factors. This study aims to examine the influence of ESG disclosure and profitability on company performance, with the moderating role of women on boards. The research population includes all companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) from 2019 to 2023. A total of 215 companies were selected using a purposive sampling technique. The analysis was conducted using SmartPLS 3, employing the outer model to assess the validity and reliability of the constructs, and the inner model to test the research hypotheses. The findings reveal that both ESG disclosure and profitability positively influence company performance. Furthermore, the presence of women on boards enhances the positive effect of ESG disclosure on company performance. However, it does not significantly strengthen the relationship between profitability and company performance.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of inflation, per capita income (GRDP), and sharia investment on household consumption levels in North Sumatra Province from an Islamic economic perspective during the period 2013 to 2023. The approach used is quantitative by utilizing secondary time series data obtained from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) of North Sumatra Province. The annual data is converted into quarterly data for analysis using the Vector Error Correction Model (VECM) method. The results show that the three independent variables of inflation, GRDP, and sharia investment do not have a significant effect on household consumption in the short term. However, in the long term, all three have a significant influence. The Granger causality test indicates a reciprocal relationship between inflation and GRDP on consumption, as well as a causal relationship between sharia investment and GRDP and consumption. Among these three variables, inflation is predicted to be the dominant factor influencing household consumption in the future, with a contribution of around 60 percent.
