Abstract

PT. FOCUS CIPTAMAKMUR BERSAMA, Blitar, East Java. is a company engaged in the manufacturing industry manufacture Hexabent (mixed fertilizer) with Bentonite raw materials (natural rock). In the process of operation PT. FOCUS TOGETHER CIPTAMAKMUR have problems at a distance of material handling systems. In this study using CRAFT algorithm and as aligning with ARC method. This method aims to determine the function of the relationship between the stations to each other and to minimize the cost of material displacement. Cost of material displacement is defined as the flow of products, the distance and cost of transport unit. Collecting data in this study through pengkuran distance between stations, material handling costs between stations (OMH per unit distance), and the number of stations that exist in the company. From the research results obtained by the method of saving CRAFT distance from the initial layout of 2,751 meters to 1,332 meters difference of 20.93 %. And earned comparisons to the costs of moving materials from Rp. 1.684.800 to Rp. 1.332.050 or occur savings of 20.93 %.

Abstract

For machine line 18, is intended to produce PVC pipe with a 5 ", 6" and 8 "with each contained item type AW and type D with a turn of the cycle a certain schedule. From the turn of this cycle, there are a couple of the impact is too long good finish duration of vacant stock in the Warehouse Production (GHP) pipe. The impact of the long duration of the good stock of empty finish unachieved impact on consumer demand (in this case the agent). By not reaching the consumer demand impact on service level SCM & Delivery. The purpose of this study to determine the optimal level of machine line 18 so that the products PVC size 5 ", 6" and 8 "are produced to meet the buffer stock storage. Thus, this research is expected to make a production schedule to meet the stock warehouse to the fullest, can meet the needs of consumers (agent) to the maximum but not over. From the data and data analysis using the First Come First Serve (FCFS), Earlier Due Date (EDD), Short Process Time (SPT), the SPT method is the most optimal method by having an average completion time of 4,10 days with 36,75% utility, then the average number of jobs 2,77 work, and delays the average occupation is 0,42 days.

Abstract

Environmental performance evaluation of IKM Batik KA is carried out by combining 3 methods: Integrated Environment Performance Measurement System (IEPMS), Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) and Objective Matrix (OMAX). Of the 32 Key to Environment Performance Indicators (KEPI) submitted to IKM, 18 quantitative indicators and 14 qualitative indicators were selected to be assessed. All KEPI have almost the same importance in the range of 0 - 10%. The results of calculations with OMAX and the Traffic light system assessment show that there are 6 KEPI at the green level, 2 KEPI at the yellow level and 18 KEPI at the red level. There are only 2 KEPI, namely indicators I2 and D1 which have a high level of importance and are at the green level, which means that the desired targets and achievements are synchronized. The total achievement value of KEPI in the OMAX calculation is at 3.31, it is included in the red category, meaning that the environmental performance of the KA Batik IKM is still bad and must be corrected immediately.

Abstract

PT. ABC is one of the companies that consentration in steel construction. The company has an extensive warehouse perfectly adequate. But the problems faced by PT. ABC in warehouse goods product company has no arrangements regarding the layout of raw materials, so at this time to adjust the position of the storage and preparation of raw materials, made by placing the material in an irregular position and randomly depending on the position of the empty warehouse. As a result, the time period of materials so long and the production becomes inhibited. The method used in this research is by using methods dedicated storage. This method is used to minimize time and comparing the activity mileage outgoing or incoming raw materials. From the analysis results obtained value is 8258.77 meter distance. Recommendations for improvement given that create a new layout for the arrangement of raw materials in PT. A B C

Abstract

Restaurant business is one of the types of businesses that continues to grow in Indonesia. With the potential of this type of business, restaurants are competing to provide the best service for consumers. Waroeng Special Sambal is one of the restaurants that located in Yogyakarta. Waroeng SS has been serving consumers for years, nevertheless there are things that are felt not to meet with consumer expectations. The purpose of this study is to determine the quality of service in Waroeng SS restaurant, determine the priority of improvements, and determine the perceptions and expectations of consumers using the modified servqual method. The result of this study indicate that the tangible dimension for direct consumers has the lowest value and for consumers nearby, the dimensions that have the lowest performance is responsiveness. The attribute that has the lowest value is “the size of parking space” for direct consumers and “the parking space for vehicle onubstructive” for consumers nearby.

Abstract

In the industrial environment, there are more and more rooms that are rented out for workers and families, and the cupboard is one of the products that is often needed is a cupboard. Storage aids should be designed for safe, comfortable, ergonomic, and aesthetic use. Multi-functional wardrobes are an important aspect of storage and space-saving work. Multi-functional wardrobe designs have developed, both in terms of form and function. However, along with the development of the times, there are demands for additional functions from existing multi-functional cabinets. Based on this background, this study aims to design and manufacture multi-functional wardrobe products according to consumers' requirements. For this research's success, the Kano method and the Quality Function Deployment (QFD) are used. The results obtained show 18 attributes (customer requirements) and 18 attributes (technical response) technical parameters implemented in a multi-functional wardrobe product design. The addition of functions to this multi-functional wardrobe product is a wardrobe with 2 (two) functions and 1 (accessories) additional in one product, which can be used as a cupboard, table, and table along with a chair. In operation, it is effortless because it has a knock-down system (can be folded). When used as a table, there are chairs on the right and left sides of the cabinet door that can be removed.
