Abstract

UMKM XYZ is an industry engaged in making shoes, the superior product is the type of embroidered shoes. The process of making embroidery shoes requires manual handling by workers so that in the production process there are still a series of non-ergonomic work postures. The work posture assessment method used is the Quick Exposure Check (QEC). The QEC method was chosen because this method is simple and easy to understand and this method also assesses from two points of view, namely worker assessment and observer assessment. Based on this research, the recalculation of the total exposure level of the proposed improvements to work facilities is expected to obtain an exposure level value with a range of <40%. This value means the work station is safe and can reduce musculocetal injuries and increase worker productivity.

Abstract

Copra is one of the most interesting materials, is a type of coconut which is dried using a heating process. Copra is commonly used as a part of material to produce cleanser, for the human body, such as soap and shampoo. There is a big opportunity for using copra, so we need to design an equipment for supporting copra production efficiently and faster. This research aim is to help the farmers, so they can meet market needs which are increasing day by day. Copra processing still uses traditional production methods. This study aims to design a coconut stripping and splitting device using the TRIZ method. Doing a simple experiment, resulting shorter processing of coconut peeling and breaking, showed an average time of 39.65 seconds for each piece of coconut.

Abstract

PT. XYZ is a company enganged in the garment sector that produces office uniforms, polo t-shirts and t-shirts with the highest demand for polo t-shirt products from lacos 20S Black cloth. Based on company data and the results of interviews with informants, it found that companies often eperience stockout and overstock of supplies of lacos 20S black cloth due to fluctuating demand. This study to control inventory by comparing the company method with the method of Continuous Review (s,S) System, (S,Q) System and Periodic Review (R,s,S) System, (R,S) System to obtain minimum total cost of inventory. Based on the calculation using the company method, the total cost of inventory is Rp 643.487.400 and the minimum total cost of inventory using the Continuous Review (s,Q) System method is Rp 635.880.585 with savings of Rp 7.606.815 and the percentage of cost reduction is 1,18%. The forecasting needs for April 2021 to March 2022 using the Continuous Review (s,Q) System method, the order quantity is 378 Kg and the reorder point is 133 Kg with a total inventory cost is Rp 767.415.089.

Abstract

In today's era, technology is growing rapidly. People are very easy to access information through various media either directly or indirectly. Therefore, society as consumers is very selective in determining the products and services to be consumed. There are many factors behind consumers in product selection. Among them are in terms of idolatry, food safety and quality. Companies must be able to set standards in order to maintain consumer trust and loyalty. This study aims to find out the relationship between halal factors, food safety and quality in consumer buying decisions. The object of the study is the student. As a younger generation, students can show selective and conscientious attitude before choosing a product and also have control in determining the development of trends in the future. This study uses structural equation modeling (SEM) methods. The results of this study are that of the 4 hypotheses only 3 hypotheses are accepted. The accepted standard of a hypothesis is if the CR (Critical Ratio) value ≥1.967 and the value of P (Probability) ≤0.05. The three accepted hypotheses are first, the influence of halal on food security. Second, the effect of safety on quality. Third, the influence of quality on buying decisions. The rejected hypothesis that halal affects the quality does not meet the critical ratio standard of -1,993 so that the results are not significant.

Abstract

The research aims to determine the standard working time on the cutting and packaging of glutinous jenang "JELITA". The cutting and packaging part is the part of the production process that determines the amount of production produced. The determination of standard time is done through the analysis of working methods and working time in those parts. The method used is the calculation of the standard time in the determination of operating process chart, left right handed chart, and flow diagrams. The results showed that improvements in working methods based on work maps were obtained based on proposed improvements. The proposed improvement results in the effectiveness and efficiency of the operating process time up to the layout on the work system, while in the determination of the default time produces 52 seconds of the standard time of the cutting process and 226 seconds of the raw time of the packaging process.

Abstract

CV Athaya Mineral is an industry that runs its business in the production and distribution of bottled drinking water. At the time of distribution of its products, errors often occur, namely the interpretation of demand data in each distribution chain and information received. The purpose of this study was to determine the optimal lotting technique for the distribution of these products using the Distribution Requirement Planning (DRP) method. From the results of data processing, the retail value of Kede Osa was obtained with a total cost of Rp. 233.696, New Store retail with an amount of Rp. 417,336, retail Ari JP Rp. 99,727, Simpang Remi retail Rp. 165,140, retail Mita Jaya Rp. 619,981. The conclusion of this study is the distribution of the Distribution Requirement Planning method for all Dance products (Glass, Small Bottles, Medium Bottles, and Gallons) to five retailers (Kede Osa, Toko Baru, Ari JP, Simpang Remi, and Mita Jaya) using Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) is a lotting technique with the cheapest distribution costs, except for New Store retailers using the Lot For Lot (LFL) lotting technique.
