Abstract

Layout of production facilities at PT. XYZ has been identified as experiencing interference in its production flow. At the moment the condition of the production site in PT. XYZ is still inadequate in view of the laying of machines and workstations that look very far away. One example is in the department G (winder), because there is a matrial buildup that often occurs due to the lack of utilization of the area and the distance of material transfer is too long also the area to go to the department H (oven) with a long distance that is able to cause inefficiency and effective during the production process. The method used to plan and design the layout of production facilities in PT. XYZ is the Systematic Layout Planning (SLP) and Blocplan methods. This method was chosen because it corresponds to the characteristics of the company that requires adjustments in arranging facilities on the production floor. The result of SLP and Blocplan is the main basis for providing improvements to the layout of proposed improvements to pt. XYZ is able to optimize the production results more, by providing a good proposal of production area process flow with the process flow of the previous production area. The efficiency rate of the Blocplan Algorithm is 30%, and for efficiency to change between departmental distances in the initial layout and the proposed layout by 21%.

Abstract

UMKM XYZ is an industry engaged in making shoes, the superior product is the type of embroidered shoes. The process of making embroidery shoes requires manual handling by workers so that in the production process there are still a series of non-ergonomic work postures. The work posture assessment method used is the Quick Exposure Check (QEC). The QEC method was chosen because this method is simple and easy to understand and this method also assesses from two points of view, namely worker assessment and observer assessment. Based on this research, the recalculation of the total exposure level of the proposed improvements to work facilities is expected to obtain an exposure level value with a range of <40%. This value means the work station is safe and can reduce musculocetal injuries and increase worker productivity.

Abstract

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to increase the Avaibility rate, Performance rate and OEE value on pipe extruder line 9 at PT. Wahana Tunas Utama Rucika which is engaged in manufacturing PVC pipe products (Poly Vinyl Clhoride). In order to increase productivity, Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) is measured by calculating OEE. The method used in solving this problem the 8 pillars of TPM with the Autonomous Maintenance (AM) method. The implementation of the TPM pillar aims to increase the knowledge, responsibility and skills of production operators related to machines, so that overall productivity will increase. AM uses a structured and documented system so that this program can run consistently. The results of the implementation of the proposed improvements showed that the Availability rate had to increase by 3.61%, the Performance rate had to increase by 3.41% and OEE had to increase by 3.25% after the proposed improvements 6 months.

Abstract

XYZ is a company engaged in the field of transformers which produces several types of transformers. Transformer production process is made to order a production process that has a fluctuating pattern. Companies also often cannot estimate the number of transformers that will be produced to meet consumer demand. The purpose of this study is to improve plant layout with an efficient layout. One method used in this study is the Activity Relationship Chart and From To Chart methods. Activity Relationship Chart and From To Chart are methods that can help solve problems which are then explained in more detail through several stages of completion to the optimal point. This research is expected to produce a more efficient layout using the Activity Relationship Chart and From To Chart method.

Abstract

Agung Mulya has experienced a decline in the production process, because there is an inefficient machine arrangement that causes delays in producing products, products with a target in a day can produce about 300 pcs of requests, can only produce about 170 pcs of requests, it is suspected that the main cause is the layout of the machine. less precise. In an effort to solve this problem, this study uses a method using Line Balancing and ARC (Activity Relation Chart) methods. This method is used for structuring the production flow so that there is a balance on all production lines so as to provide high efficiency on each production line. The balance in question is the balance of output from each stage of operation from the point of view of the production line and compiling a layout design for room facilities is used to analyze the proximity relationship using input data in the form of process flow, distance between spaces, conditions and spatial conditions From the results of this study resulted in a better re-lay out of thr production facility layout, the work station which originally had 8 workstations has decreased to 5 workstations, this is because the layout of the production flow layout can reduce the distance between work stations and the production process more efficient.

Abstract

Service quality is a superior value for customers to improve business performance or company marketing represents a level of excellence to meet consumer expectations. Therefore, it is not necessary to know what factors affect product quality and service quality at the Surya Mart Business Center Surya Mart Business Center. Surya Mart Business Center Surya Mart's Business Center is located on campus 2 of the Muhammadiyah University of Sidoarjo (UMSIDA), the market is for students, lecturers, UMSIDA employees and the surrounding community. To find out the factors that affect product quality and service quality, research uses Structural Equation Modeling, which is ia statistical technique that is able to analyze the pattern of relationships between data constructs and indicators, one data construct and another, and direct measurement errors. The results showed that the highest loading factor value was 1.329 in the discount indicator, for the term indicator, namely the additional factor with a value of 0.664. Test structural modeling on the relationship between constructs that have a casual or causal relationship. The results of this study, Variable Product Quality and Service Quality, the second variable has a significant influence on the Customer Satisfaction variable.
