Abstract

Compilation of Daftar Urut Kepangkatan (DUK) is one of the routine duty in human resource unit of Sebelas Maret University (UNS). Variable which must be paid attention in compilation of DUK are position, year of service, occupation practice, education and age. The change in structural PNS is very dynamic, so that DUK’s renewal done every months. Existence of some variable which must be paid attention in compilation of DUK and also the change in structural PNS UNS, hence needed of integrated information system so that DUK is up to date and valid. One of the information system development method by paying attention and desire requirement of consumer is Rapid Application Development (RAD). RAD method use approach of prototyping. Using this method, design of information system will be focused at desire requirement of human resource unit UNS.

Abstract

This research aim to develop an improvement plan of GTR 2 pump production process at CV. Guntur Malang by incorporating Lean Six Sigma approach. Following DMAIC steps (Define-Measure-Analyse- Improve-Control), at Measure stage shows that the most affecting waste is waiting and defect . Next at Improve stage using 5 W – 1 H method resulted on improvement plan consist of (a) applying statistical based quality control system by developing control chart during GTR 2 pump test process, (b) additional training to operator, review and correct work instruction, (c) relocate material warehouse from Research and Development area and material stock pile rearrangement, and (d) applying coolent to material before drilling process.

Abstract

SMIs Batik often unable to catch on the market opportunity that needs large production volume. Beside, SMIs batik has difficulty in the finance access and consultation. The limitation of investment also becoming a weakness for increasing the internal function. Such as training and technology inovation. In this research, there is 6 competence factors,(Financial, Human Resources, Technology and Production, Marketing, Company Management, Network and Basic Material Supply) that used to analyze the performance of SMIs Batik in Surakarta. There is 63 industries as sample.Cluster Analyze is used to grouping industries into some group. Discriminant Analyze is used to identify the discriminatory competence variable for group. The result is 63 batik industries can be grouped into 4 cluster based on 5 grouping variables: the age of company, the number of labor, company assets, omsets per year dan profit per year. With size of financial performance that is Return on Assets, Profit Margin and Sales Turnover, 4 group can be categorized as highest, high, medium and low performance of industry. 5 variables as discriminatory between 4 cluster industry that is Market Information Network, Support in Marketing, Financial Management, Operational Capability dan Promotion Activities.

Abstract

We consider a two-layer supply chain model consisting of a vendor and a buyer. The buyer observes a probabilistic demand and orders lots from the vendor. We relax the assumption of deterministic lead time and assume that it is varying linearly with the delivery lot size. The vendor manufactures the requested product in production batchs. Each produced batch is shipped to the buyer in lots. We consider a situation where there are multiple deliveries for one order and the vendor produces in a multiple integer of delivery quantity and hence, an order can be split into a number of production runs. A solution procedure is suggested for solving the proposed model and numerical examples are used to illustrate the benefit of integration. Numerical results show that the integrated inventory model will always result in savings in the total joint cost, buyer cost and vendor cost.

Abstract

The HGF (High Grade Fugal) Machine is one of the machines which often failed in The Sugar Factory XYZ. Brake Shoes and Belt drive are critical components of HGF Machine. The Management already used corrective maintenance policy where the maintenance only was done while the machines were failed. The loss of corrective maintenance was the other components which could be failed caused by failure of critical components. To anticipate this event could conduct the preventive action at critical components before the critical components reached limit usage. Considering was the situation above, this research concern how to arrange the appropriate preventive maintenance schedule, so that could be eliminate the failure frequency which caused by critical component failed. Time to failure of critical component is fitted the normal distribution with the test of hypothesis Kolmogorov-Smirnov. In analysis uses 70 % minimum reliability. The result shows the time to failure of Brake shoes and Belt drive havenormal distribution. The interval of preventive maintenance for belt drive of HGF WS machine is 28 days, and has the reliability value 73.8%, and for the Brake shoes of HGF WS machine is 28 days, and has the reliability value above 90%. The interval preventive maintenance for Brake shoes of HGF Zagitter machine is 20 days, and will be has reliability value 86,2%. The Interval of the preventive maintenance for the belt drive of HGF Zagitter machine is 24 days, and will be has reliability value above 90%.

Abstract

Abstract

In the most general sense, OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) can be described as a universally accepted set of metrics that bring clear focus to the key success drivers for manufacturing enterprises. In this case, OEE quantifies how well a Filling and Packing Unit (F & P Unit) performs relative to its designed capacity, during the periods when it is scheduled to run. OEE breaks the performance of a F & P Unit into three separate but measurable components: Availability, Performance, and Quality. Each component points to an aspect of the process that can be targeted for improvement as parts of Total Productive Maintenance (TPM). In a TPM program, the Teams at F & D Unit, should looking to see what causes the problems so that they know when it is time to act, and know what problem needs to be fixed. The Cause Effect Diagram used on identify the root causes of poor equipment performance, then Multiple Linear Regression (MLR) used to generate the relationship of components causes of poor equipment performance and then to improve equipment operation. The OEE rating is targeted 85%, butit is unlikely that F & P Unit only can run at 78.2% rating. A comprehensive, The Design of Overall Equipment Effectiveness Metrics System, will provide operator’s F & P Unit to monitor and improve the efficiency of process of manufacturing.

Abstract

Plan acceptance of sampel with method of Military Standard 105E is prosedure which used in decision making to product yielded by company, background of this method him is to accommodate accomplishment of producer ekspektasi and consumer in inspection of[is quality of product with acceptance mechanism or deduction of lot. Pursuant to from amount of sampel proposals, existence of improvement of percentage of probability for normal inspection at quality of I mount 24% and quality of II mount 10%, tight inspection at quality of I mount 26% and quality of II mount 12%, diffuse inspection at quality of I mount 23% and quality of II mount 4%. While SOP proposal have the character of independent to the each category so that deduction of lot earn happened at every category not requiring accumulation of amount of found defect as SOP early.
