Abstract

This research is directed to evaluate the research topics done by the students of teacher training and education faculty of IAIN Samarinda from 2014-2016 which can be used as the references to develop the research quality of IAIN Samarinda. This research was done by applying the quantitative bibliometric. The data was collected by using the documentation of the thesis abstracts of the students of teacher training and education faculty of IAIN Samarinda. The data was analysed by using co-word analysis. The results show that the dominant topics focused by the PAI students to write the thesis from 2014-2016 were about the cognitive, affective, and psycomotoric learning aspects. The topic trend of the Educational management students to write the thesis from 2014-2016 were about the educators and non-educators management, whereas the topic trend of the English department students to write the thesis from 2014-2016 were about the speaking ability of the English learners. The dominant research approaches used by the all three study programs were quantitative research. The suggestions are given related to the findings are: 1) It needs to enrich and enlarge the topics research should be done by the students of teacher training and education faculty of IAIN Samarinda and 2) The students need to learn more about the research methods to improve the accuracy and the validity of the research done by the students.

Abstract

Moral in the context of school education management is essential, and execution of education of moral cannot be separated from the quality of learning and teaching, and assessment system. The application of assessment of moral knowledge and moral behavior in Madrasah Aliyah (MA) is still conventional and partial. The purpose of this research is: (a) to develop an assessment model of moral applied to assess students’ moral in Madrasah Aliyah; and (b) to find out the influence of students’ knowledge of moral on their own moral. This research produces a measurement model in the form of an internal structure consisting of dimensions of moral measurement, and a structural model relating moral with the knowledge of moral.This research applies research and development model. The subjects are students  of MAs. Data analysis utilizing Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) and Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). CFA applied to analyze conformity of measurement model, while SEM applied to analyze conformity of structural model using software LISREL 851. Conformity of measurement and structural model based on the criteria of r-value >0.05, Root Mean Square Error of Approximation (RMSEA) < 0.08, and Goodness of Fit Index  (GFI)  > 0.90.The result of this development research can be concluded as follows. The internal structure of assessment model of learning and teaching including willingness, conscience, value, attitude and moral behavior dimensions is considered as a good assessment model to assess students’ moral in Madrasah Aliyah. It is based on the result of  CFA, namely low factor loading value 0.39 (λ > 0.30), r-value = 0.0804 > 0.05; RMSEA = 0.074 < 0.08; and GFI= 0.98 > 0.90. The structural model relating moral and knowledge is regarded as a good model based on r-value = 0.08207 > 0.05; RMSEA= 0.005 < 0.08; and GFI = 0.97 > 0.90. The influence of  students’ knowledge of moral  on  their own moral (γ1=0,61) are significant.

Abstract

Development of the local culture as Islamic religious learning model approach is very necessary at this time. Because religion is very in touch with cultural values. Islamic culture such as Habsyian, Manaqiban, reciting sholawat to Prophet Muhammad (solawat Diba '), celebrating Prophet's birthday, and Isro mi'roj, tahlilan, reciting barzanji are becoming increasingly committed by the Muslim community in Ssamarinda. Development of the local culture is not only done among society, but it has touched a post-secondary education institutions, high school and others. It is very interesting because morally is very effective of religious instruction taught religious teachers in their schools. The way how they follow through Manaqib Habsyian and recitation would bring a positive trend among the students. With the performance of the all-white dressed adds spirit to Islam among students. Development of local culture as stated above should be preserved and supported among educators and related agencies. Keep in mind the development of Islam and its spread in Indonesia in conjunction with the local culture as a means of delivery. It almost happened in regions throughout Indonesia as an archipelago country.

Abstract

The educational value of Islam, was the spirit of the character education. However it was a religious education into knowledge, no imprint on the attitudes and behaviors of learners. So that the internalization of Islamic religious education into separate points in education. The problems to be studied this thesis was the implementation and internalization of Islamic education in the learning of subjects Al-Islam and Kemuhammadiyahan in SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Sumenep. Furthermore, the factors that were supporting and inhibiting internalization of such values.This study used descriptive qualitative approach that aimed to understand and described the internalization of Islamic religious education at the sites.The survey results revealed that: First, the educational values of Islamic Religion which consists of faith, worship and morality contained in the subjects of Al-Islam and Kemuhammadiyahan in SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Sumenep implemented well in the aspects of real life. Second, the internalization of such values was done in four ways. The ways that were imitation, habituation, meals (conditioning), sustainability (istiqamah). Third, the factors supporting the process of internalization of Islamic religious education among them was a good environment, parents, curriculum, and teacher. Whereas the inhibiting factors were uncontrolled environment, parents who did not care and problematic, then the limitations of teacher supervision.

Abstract

Implementation SNP (Education National Standard) in schools in each grade is the minimum criteria that must be met as a measure of achievement in education. One of the positive implications of achievement is the outcome of consistency in implementing the SNP is the emergence of the advantages possessed by the school. The schools’ competition in Samarinda had run to meet the demands of eight educational standards. Excellences that owned by the Madrasah (Islamic Schools) where both of the Madrasah were as a model among many madrasah (Islamic Schools) in Samarinda. The excellences are based on the fulfillment of the standards established in the SNP. These advantages are also implications for the public interest in both of Madrasah to send their children. The schools effort to bring school-superiority in terms of educating the students on aspects of cognitive, affective and psychomotor by presenting models of learning that are innovative, creative and fun. In addition, the schools have also implemented a school-based management model (SBM). School strategies in planning, implementation, and evaluation for the attainment of the eight standard of SNP are by involving various parties through school committee and stakeholders that are considered competent in fulfill the needs of the development of madrasah
