Abstract

Heart attack is still one of the leading causes of death worldwide. Much research has been done to make a portable and accurate ECG signal acquisition module as a solution to heart disease problems. This portable and easy-to-use module can be used by patients independently to find out as early as possible any disturbances in the heart's function. This ECG signal acquisition tool will generate ECG signals that will be utilized to record the patient's heart signal data. The tool consists of a biopotential circuit as a signal amplifier from the electrode sensor, then LPF filters and non-inverting amplifiers are added to eliminate noise and amplify the signal before entering a later stage. The testing was conducted on 3 subjects with 3 conditions: sitting, climbing stairs, and running. Test results showed the tool was able to display ECG signals at a fairly good PQRST interval, although noise still appeared to affect the signal. Meanwhile, Beat Per Minute (BPM) testing of each subject compared to the BPM calculation results manually resulted in a fairly low error rate of 3.52% for sitting conditions, 2.47% after climbing the stairs, and 3.73% after running.

Abstract

Meteran air yang digunakan PDAM untuk mengetahui penggunaan air di rumah pelanggan masih bersifat analog sehingga pelanggan kesulitan dalam membaca jumlah penggunaan air. Tujuan dari penelitian ini ialah mengembangkan sebuah perangkat sederhana yang dapat mengetahui penggunaan air secara real time oleh pengguna berbasis IoT dengan tingkat akurasi yang baik. Penelitian ini menggunakan Water Flow Sensor, Arduino Pro Mini, Arduino Mega 2560, Modul GSM SIM900A, serta Modul Micro SD Card. Hasil dari penelitian pada saat pengkalibrasian Water Flow Sensor dengan 10 kali percobaan terhadap tujuh parameter yang berbeda didapatkan nilai RMSE sebesar 0,31 L/menit atau menyimpang sekitar 4,12%. Total penggunaan air yang didapat Water Flow Sensor berbanding jauh dengan meteran air PDAM diduga karena debit air yang mengalir dipengaruhi oleh tekanan dan spesifikasi sensor. Pengiriman data ke platform selama 24 jam memiliki tingkat keberhasilan sebesar 98,1%.

Abstract

Pada makalah ini akan dilakukan evaluasi penerapan teknik predistorsi baik di sumber dan di relay pada sistem transmisi kooperatif dengan protokol amplify and forward (AF). Model predistorster dan penguat daya tinggi (HPA) di sumber adalah kaskade Wiener-Hammerstein, sedang model predistorter dan HPA di relay adalah inverse Rapp dan model Rapp. Penerapan teknik predistorsi tersebut diterapkan pada kondisi kanal tak simteris, model Ricean fading dan Rayleigh fading. Evaluasi terhadap kinerja teknik predistorsi ditunjukkan dengan nilai bit error rate (BER) di tujuan. Dari hasil simulasi dapat ditunjukkan bahwa penerapan teknik predistorsi di sumber dan di relay menghasilkan kinerja paling baik. Dan penerapan pada kanal tak simteris hasil simulasi menunjukkan bahwa kondisi kanal jalur relay-tujuan (R-D) dan sumber-tujuan (S-D) memiliki pengaruh besar terhadap sinyal yang diterima di tujuan, memberikan kinerja paling baik bila model kanal-kanal tersebut bersifat Ricean fading.

Abstract

Data from WHO 2015 shows that 70% of deaths in the world are caused by non-infection diseases, 45% are caused by heart and blood vessel disease, namely 17.7 million from 39.5 million deaths. Riset Kesehatan Dasar (Riskesdas) reported that in 2018, there were 15 of 1000 people, or 2,784,064 individuals in Indonesia suffering from heart disease. Symptoms of heart abnormalities often come suddenly. Therefore, early recognition can help to avoid heart attacks. Doctors currently use a heart sound / phonocardiogram (PCG) to assess the performance of the heart using a stethoscope. The PCG’s diagnosis is very influenced by the subjectivity of doctors because of its relatively weak and physical limitations. So that the possibility of a False Positive Result happening is quite high. To minimize this risk, a Computer Aided Diagnosis (CAD) PCG signal was developed. Several studies have proposed a PCG diagnostic method using the wavelet or Welch method and based on Neural Network are more complex. In this study, a simple diagnosis method is proposed so that the computation is easier and faster with good accuracy. The PCG signal is amplified twice, then the Fast Fourier Transform (FFT) process is carried out to obtain the characteristics of the fundamental frequency and max amplitude. The classification stage uses the Multi Layer Perceptron (MLP). From testing of 55 data PCG, the results obtained accuracy of 90%, sensitivity of 80%, PPV of 100% and NPV of 83.33%. Abstract

Abstract Currently there are still several processes in coffee roasting that still use the traditional way of using a pan made of iron, so it took a long time to roast it and is also less efficient because of the uneven heat generated. One of the processes carried out to simplify the roasting process is by making a coffee roaster using a heater and an electric motor. This heater serves to heat the roasting room so that the heat obtained is evenly distributed throughout the roasting room. Also added is the setting in temperature and motor speed so that the taste of the coffee is more delicious. In this roasting process using the taguchi method so that data retrieval is more efficient with 9 variable experiments where the roasting temperature is 240 ℃, 250 ℃ and 260 ℃. Roasting time used is 30, 40 and 50 minutes. Roasting speed at 20 RPM, 40 RPM and 60 RPM. The power electricity used in the process of roasting is 296,96 watt, the calorocity rate of the calor 288,96 J/s. heat (Q) 494,016 and energy 475.200 joule. Abstract

Small and medium industries are growing rapidly, one of which is the bottled drinking water (AMDK) industry. Therefore, there are so many studies related to the automatic filling of mineral water in both 250 ml and 600 ml glass packaging. However, this research focuses on an automatic water filling system that is controlled by a microcontroller or PLC so that it ignores the container queuing system in the form of glasses or bottles automatically, in the sense of the research the container queuing system is still done manually. The queue of glasses that are arranged in stacks becomes one of the obstacles, because the distance between the first glass and the second glass and so on is very small and can even be said to be close together. This research focuses on the mechanical system to take the glasses one by one which is arranged in a stack between glasses using acrylic material in the shape of a rectangle at a size of 100mm x 180mm. This mechanical system is to separate the bottom glass from the pile of glasses by pushing the bottom glass separator mechanically, using a pneumatic cylinder that moves horizontally. The results of the research are the process of taking 250 ml glasses one by one in a stack of glasses automatically 100% with a minimum stack of 4 glasses.

Abstract

In the cultivation of swallow nests, swallow breeders experience problems, especially in maintaining the temperature and humidity of the room in the wallet bird house. Swallow breeders must be able to maintain a stable temperature and humidity and maintain the safety of the swallow from owl pests. When the temperature is hot, the swallow room will become dry so that the nest becomes damaged and the swallow feels uncomfortable living in the nest. Based on this, a control and monitoring system for swallow nest cultivation based on Android was created. This system can help reduce the temperature and humidity in the swallow nest room using a dew machine that works automatically and the swallow room door can open/close automatically using an application on a smartphone. This system can work well if given a supply voltage of AC220V and DC12V. The dew machine will work (ON) if the temperature is above 29°C or the humidity is less than 70%. The sensor read data will be sent by the NodeMCU to the blynk server and displayed on the smartphone. The swallow room door can be opened or closed based on the light intensity value measured on the LDR sensor which is then sent to the NodeMCU to drive the motor driver and stepper motor. With this system, farmers are expected to be able to monitor and control the condition of swallow’s nests using the blynk application on smartphones in real time. Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh masalah terdapatnya daerah yang lemah dari sinyal Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN) 2,4 GHz di Jurusan Teknik Elektronika Fakultas Teknik Universitas Negeri Padang. Adanya daerah yang lemah oleh sinyal WLAN disebabkan karena penempatan Access Point (AP) yang kurang tepat dan pengaruh dari faktor lingkungan seperti bentuk bangunan, ukuran, serta material pembangunnya. Penelitian ini membahas tentang luas daerah jangakauan dari AP yang ada di Jurusan Teknik Elektronika, dari AP yang ada belum sepenuhnya menjangkau seluruh daerah yang ada di Jurusan Teknik Elektronika, masih ada daerah yang lemah dari sinyal WLAN dari hasil simulasi yang dilakukan menggunakan aplikasi Matlab . Hasil pengukuran dengan aplikasi Vistumbler, kualitas sinyal cakupan area dari 3 AP yang ada di Jurusan Elektronika cenderung melemah lalu disimulasikan menggunakan aplikasi Matlab didapatkan adanya daerah yang lemah dari sinyal WLAN. Setelah dilakukan simulasi menggunakan 4 AP pada aplikasi Matlab, dari posisi 4 AP tersebut telah mampu menjangkau seluruh daerah yang ada di Jurusan Teknik Elektronika.

Abstract

Pencemaran udara menjadi salah satu hal yang sedang banyak dibicarakan akhir-akhir ini. Salah satu cara untuk mengurangi pencemaran udara adalah dengan melakukan efisiensi terhadap konsumsi energi. Penelitian ini akan berfokus pada penyelesaian job shop yang tidak hanya meminimumkan waktu penyelesaian pekerjaan akan tetapi juga konsumsi energi. Permasalahan tersebut akan diselesaikan dengan menggunakan Algoritma Hybrid yaitu gabungan metode Hybrid Genetika dan Simulated Annealing. Algoritma Simulated Annealing digunakan untuk mengembangkan pencarian lokal pada solusi yang sudah diproleh pada algoritma genetika.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui karakteristik dari material serat karbon TC35-12K tipe woven dipadukan dengan resin epoksi sebagai matrik. Orientasi serat yang diterapkan adalah 00 dan 450 pada masing-masing layer dan menemukan susunan layer yang paling optimal. Metode dalam penelitian ini yaitu dengan simulasi matematis dan komputasi menggunakan software finite element Analysis (FEA). Hasil dari penelitian menemukan bahwa orientasi serat 450 serat karbon serat karbon TC35-12K/epoksi woven memiliki kemampuan sangat baik terhadap torsi dengan nilai total deformation 1,38 mm apabila diberikan torsi 120 N.m. Selain itu orientasi serat 00 memiliki kemampuan lebih baik terhadap beban tarik dan bending. Orientasi serat 00 juga meningkatkan nilai natural frequency 151,65 Hz karena kakakuan menjadi lebih baik. Konfigurasi orientasi serat dan urutan susunan layer optimal adalah 45/45/0/0 yang mampu terhadap torsi, tarik, bending, dan putaran kritis. Putaran kritis berdampak pada punca getaran, semakin tinggi angka putaran kritis akan lebih baik. Konfigurasi yang dipilih mampu hingga putaran 9000 rpm.
