Abstract

Interdialysis body weight is used to determine ultra fi ltration speed on hemodialisa patients. The overload ultra fi ltration can infl uence patients hemodynamic. According to Renal Registry Indonesia, it was 11 percent in 2012 dialysis patients experienced hypotension. This observational analytic study used cohort survey aims to analyse changing of interdialysis body weight and of blood pressure among dialysis patients in RSUD Saras Husada Purworejo. In this research, 40 respondents divided into two groups by purposive sampling based on inclusion and exclusion criteria. Data was analysed using Paired T-Test, Spearman Rank Test and Chi Square and was obtained characteristics subject sexes p= 0.736, p= 0.744 age, history of diabetes p=0.311 and p= 0.185 HT history means that there were no signifi cant correlation with the increase interdialisis BB. (p>0.05). Correlation interdialisis BB with changing in BP, RR=2,750 x²= 3.84 and p= 0.050 (p= 0.050) was signifi cantly in positive direction. Conclusion, there was correlation between interdialysis body weight changing with blood pressure elevation. 8% of those who exposed the rise interdialysis body weight was hypotension.

This study used the observation sheet instruments of 10 true principle of injection drug delivery. Analyzed by Wilcoxon test. After the training of patient safety: the SBAR communication given to nurses, there were signifi cant differences in injection drug administration errors based on the principle really patient, route, medicine, time, assessment, information and evaluation (p<0.05), but no signifi cant differences in principle correct dose, expired and documentation (p> 0.05). Conclusions and suggestions: patient safety training; SBAR communication on nurses wasc reduced injection drug administration errors effectively in PKU Muhammadiyah Hospital Unit II Yogyakarta based on the principle of right of patients, service, medicine, time, assessment, information and evaluation. Abstract

Incidence of phlebitis is an indicator of the quality of hospital services with minimal rate of ≤1.5% standard. The incidence of phlebitis in Hospital AR. Bunda Prabumulih is still high ranging from 10% to 16%. Highest incidence of phlebitis is in April amounted to 16%. Surveillance is an important activity for the planning, implementation, evaluation and infection control practices. This was an observational study with a descriptive analytic approach, while for non-experimental research design was a prospective cohort quantitative approach. The aim was to know the incidence of intravenous catheter phlebitis, knowing the factors supporting the cause of intravenous catheter phlebitis, and to understand what kind of germs that cause the occurrence of phlebitis in patients hospitalized in AR. Bunda Prabumulih Hospital. Large samples obtained were 17 people who had phlebitis. From the results, the percentage of incidence of phlebitis in Hospital AR. Bunda Prabmulih in June 2013 amounted to 333.33‰. The incidence of phlebitis was happeningmostly in age of 31-50 years at 41.2%. The phlebitis occured in women at 64.7%. Types of microorganisms found in phlebitis patients, namely: staphylococcus, E.coli and staphylococcus aureus. Factors which may cause the occurrence of phlebitis were the type of fl uid used, types of bacteria, especially species of gram-positive bacteria, and the principle of sterilization during intravenous procedures by health workers. Additionaly, The incidence of phlebitis in Hospital AR. Bunda Prabumulih in June 2013 amounted to 333.33‰ much larger than the standard set by the Depkes RI is ≤1.5%.

Abstract

The cause of infant mortality is mostly due to perinatal matters. Almost 2-27% of all perinatal death is caused by prematurity with low birth weight (BBLR). Reducing mortality rate on perinatal can be achieved by observing all pregnant women and fi nding as well as addressing infl uenced factors of neonatal safety. This research aims to identify correlation between frequencies of Antenatal Care (ANC) with incidence of prematurity. This is an observational study with case-control design using retrospective approach. Total population was 1335 and of 156 was choosen as research respondents deviding into 78 as case respondents and 78 as control groups. The result of statistic analysis showed that p value=0,837 (p>0,05) means frequencies of ANC did not have correlation with prematurity. Conclusion, (1) during the period of 1 January 2011 and 29 February 2012, it found 207 (8,13%) premature baby delivered, (2) at about 80,8% mother who delivered premature baby had normal ANC 4 times or more with the pattern 1-1-2 in every semester, (3) statistically ANC was not having correlation with premature baby.
