Abstract

GERMAS AS AN EFFORT TO PROMOTE HEALTH TO COMMUNITIES IN CIPAYUNG DISTRICT, DEPOK CITY. Strengthening health promotion and disease prevention efforts will provide extraordinary benefits. Health promotion and disease prevention are the main investments to reduce the burden on the state in financing public health services. Developing countries feel this burden due to budget constraints and the threat of budget sustainability, especially non-communicable diseases that require expensive and long-term treatment. Therefore, the Indonesian government launched the Healthy Living Community Movement (GERMAS), in the form of efforts to promote health and prevent disease that emphasize the community as the main actor. GERMAS has six main activities, namely increasing physical activity, increasing healthy living behavior, providing healthy food and accelerating nutrition improvement, increasing prevention and early detection of disease; environmental quality improvement; and increasing education on healthy living. Therefore, to support the Healthy Living Community Movement (GERMAS), which has just been launched by the government, it is necessary to mobilize the community to familiarize healthy living in accordance with the objectives of the GERMAS program. In Cipayung Urban Village, community-based health promotion and disease prevention has not been carried out. When associated with GERMAS, it is necessary to initiate community-based health promotion and disease prevention.

Abstract

TEACHER COMPETENCY DEVELOPMENT THROUGH SOCIALIZATION AND MULTILITERATION ORIENTED RADEC LEARNING MODEL WORKSHOP. This study was conducted on teachers in Ciamis Regency, which examined the attitudes, knowledge and skills of teachers as well as how the teacher competency training needs. Implementation of teacher competency training which is conducted to facilitate teachers in planning, implementing and evaluating multiliterative oriented learning. The teacher competency development workshop was attended by 70 teachers from various elementary schools in Ciamis district. In the workshop activities, various learning issues were explained in the era 4.0 and society 5.0 and learning models that can facilitate various 21st century skills including multiliterative learning. The teacher competency development workshop can support them to overcome the challenges they face during their teaching practice. The data shows that there is a very high need for training that can assist teachers in mastering various teaching skills, especially in facilitating multiliteracy-oriented learning. Some data also show about the teacher's lack of understanding of the learning model. There are also data results that show a lack of student involvement in multiteracy activities both in learning and given assignments. This is reinforced by the low percentage of teaching activities that involve students in higher order thinking skills.

Abstract

DEVELOPMENT OF AUTHENTIC ASSESSMENT DEVELOPMENT IN LITERATURE LEARNING: ASSISTANCE FOR INDONESIAN LANGUAGE TEACHERS IN SMP, SMA AND SMK IN PAGARALAM CITY. Evaluation is an important part of learning activities. Therefore, the Indonesian Language teacher must have sufficient competence regarding the implementation of the evaluation. In the 2013 Curriculum (K-13) there is one type of assessment that must be carried out, namely authentic assessment. The Indonesian language teachers must have sufficient ability about this, especially to assess the process and results of literature learning. Most of the Indonesian language teachers in Pagaralam City did not understand well about authentic assessment in literature learning. This is based on preliminary surveys conducted by the team as well as from letters given through Indonesian language teachers’ club (MGMP). Mentoring and guidance are conducted to them including workshops on developing authentic assessment rubriks and observation sheets. A total of 11 junior high schools, senior high school, and vocational school teachers in Pagaralam City participated in this activity. The method used was the delivery of information, discussion, and workshops. A test is conducted in the form of self-reflection about aspects of authentic assessment in literary learning at the beginning and end of the activity. The result showed that there is an increase in the ability of participants about authentic assessment in literature learning before and after the activity with an N-gain of 0.57, which means medium.

Abstract

TRAINING ON 3-DIMENSIONAL MEDIA USAGE IN BIOLOGICAL LEARNING FOR MENTALLY RETARDATION STUDENTS IN TASIKMALAYA. All students have the right to get knowledge that is beneficial in facing various challenges in a community life, no matter how many students. Biological learning done for students of disabled sought to bridge the limitations and barriers that children have and develop the potential of children in order to carry out opportunities for broader life. Through a 3-dimensional media-based learning is expected to provide understanding and skills for students who later can have creative thinking skills. In addition to the 3-dimensional media is also expected to be found several children who have potential in terms of art especially fine art. Based on the results of observations and trainings that have been done, the students are happy and have their own interest in learning to use the 3-dimensional media, but to further develop the thinking skills of students need Continuous effort. The use of 3-dimensional media can also be the basis in the training of manufacturing various products such as in the manufacture of cakes and also some artwork that has its own economic value.

Abstract

EFFORTS TO IMPROVE UNDERSTANDING OF ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH THROUGH UTILIZATION OF PLASTIC WASTE IN CIBIRU WETAN VILLAGE, KABUPATEN BANDUNG, WEST JAWA. Plastic waste can contaminate soil, air, sea, and even air, because plastic is difficult to degrade. Cibiru Wetan Village, Kabupaten Bandung, is a growing area for new housing. As the area grows, the rest of the development becomes waste, such as cans. Cans can hold water and can be a breeding ground for mosquitoes that will interfere with health. One way to reduce this impact is by utilizing can trash into plant pots. Therefore, the purpose of this community service activity was the utilization of tin waste for pots in an effort to increase community awareness in environmental health. The stages of this activity began from providing an understanding of environmental health ranging from understanding, garbage, the environment, health to its use and training in making pots from can garbage material. The results of the activity showed that community participation in this activity was quite high, which meant that awareness to support environmental health began to take shape. In addition, this activity could also improve the ability of participants in the waste recycling process.

Abstract

EFFORTS TO INCREASE KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS KENANGA LESTARI WOMEN’S FARMER’S GROUP OF PUCANG VILLAGE BANJARNEGARA ABOUT HYDROPONIC VEGETABLES TECHNIQUE. Kenanga Lestari Women's Farmers Group is the only group consisting of 20 farmer women in Pucang Village, Banjarnegara. The farmer women's group continues to exist to develop verticulture of organic vegetable cultivation by utilizing home yards since 2017. Since the beginning the caretaker and members of the farmer women's group still have limited knowledge and skills, especially about hydroponic vegetable cultivation techniques. The aim of the activity is to transfer science and technology about the cultivation of hydroponic vegetables in an effort to increase the knowledge and skills of farm women groups. It is also intended to encourage increased income and welfare of farmer women groups. The method used includes 3 methods, namely; (a) public education methods through extension activities on hydroponic systems and hydroponic vegetable cultivation techniques; (b) science and technology diffusion methods through training activities on hydroponic vegetable cultivation techniques; (c) advocacy method that is to provide assistance at the end of the activity. The results of the activity showed that the knowledge and skills of the administrators and members of the Kenanga Lestari farmer group increased from previous conditions regarding organic vegetable cultivation techniques.

Abstract

GOOGLE SCHOLAR AND SINTA REGISTRATION TRAINING FOR LECTURERS OF THE FACULTY OF ECONOMICS AND ISLAMIC BUSINESS OF IAIN LHOKSEUMAWE. In order to improve the quality of FEBI IAIN Lhokseumawe lecturers and the preparation of accreditation and for the sake of evicting academic levels the lecturers conducted training on google scholar account registration and Sinta Ristekdikti. The method of conducting the training is by direct demonstration, then the participants practice according to the instructions and guidelines that have been given and which have been explained by the instructor. This training provides enormous benefits for the participants because of the obligation of lecturers to input the results of publications in the Sinta portal so as to strengthen the importance of this training. At the end of the google scholar registration training and the Sinta account all trainees had a Google Scholar account and were successful in registering into the Sinta Ristekdikti portal.

Abstract

TRAINING OF POSYANDU CADRE SKILLS OF MULYASARI, TAMAN SARI, TASIKMALAYA CITY. The implementation of posyandu activities is done by the cadre chosen and derived from the community. Given the role of a very large cadre in the management of Posyandu, it is necessary to increase the competency of cadres through training Posyandu Kader. The purpose of this community service is to improve cadre competence so that it can produce a reliable cadre in the development efforts of Posyandu, especially in the region. The training of Posyandu cadres is conducted through the pretest stage, training stage and post test. Public service activities conducted in July 2019 in the village of Mulyasari in the workplace Puskesmas in Tamansari City district. The number of Posyandu in Mulyasari village as many as 17 Posyandu, then took representatives of 2 cadres for each posyandu. The median understanding of cadres about the management of Posyadnu on Pretes is enough with as much as 61.8%; Good 23.5%, and less 14.7%, and after obtaining the average training cadre understanding increased to a good as much as 50%; Quite as much as 41.2% and less as much as 8.8%. Posyandu Kader Training is the right effort to improve the competency of Posyandu Kader. The cadres were enthusiastic to attend the training.

Abstract

TRAINING ON CLASSROOM BASED ACTION RESEARCH PROPOSAL DEVELOPMENT FOR ELEMENTARY SCHOOL TEACHERS. Classroom Based Action Research is a demand for elementary school teachers. Most teachers find it difficult to plan classroom action research. The PKM aims to: (1) improve the understanding of SDN Gayungan 2 teachers about planning; (2) increase the ability of teachers in planning. These PKM partners are teachers at Sidayu district. The method used in the service activities is the lecture and demonstration methods. Overall service activities can be judged to be quite good, seen from the success of the target number of trainees considered to be quite good, the achievement of training objectives is considered not good, the achievement of planned material targets is considered good, and the ability of participants in mastering the material is considered good.

Abstract

WATER RESCUE LEARNING AS AN INITIAL RESPONSE TO SAFETY AGAINST FLOODS FOR YOUTH ORGANIZATION IN BENJENG DISTRICT, GRESIK REGENCY. Disasters are events that are not expected by many people, need special anticipations in overcoming this. Not only is the SAR team needed as a response team from the start but the community participation is also needed to take part in it. Benjeng District, which is a subscribed area for floods, naturally initiates knowledge and skills regarding disaster response. Based on this, the Physical Education Lecturer team of the University of PGRI Adibuana Surabaya carried out the activity as a lecturer task in the field of Higher Education Tri Dharma, namely Community Service. The purpose of this activity is to increase knowledge and ways to save water by members of the Youth Organization. There were 36 participants in the workshop. The results that can be obtained from the workshop are 1). The high level of enthusiasm of the participants gave a positive impact so that the achievements designed by the team were successfully completed well; 2). The implementation of the workshop activities resulted in a pioneer team of emergency response that would be destroyed at the village level so that it became the vanguard of the rescue team in the event of a flood.
