Abstract

AbstractPattern Recognition (Pattern Recognition) is one branch of Artificial Intelligence. Pattern recognition is a grouping of numeric and symbolic data (including images) automatically by machine (computer). The purpose of grouping is to recognize objects based on the characteristics possessed by the object / pattern. A pattern is a defined entity and can be identified by its characteristics (features). These features are used to distinguish a pattern with other patterns. In this research the pattern to be used is silver and gold coins. The features that can be used is the color and area characteristics. Stages that must be passed to classify these coins there are 2 (two) stages: first is the training stage and the second is the recognition stage. In the training phase starts from feature selection process and the learning process. At the recognition  phase begins from preprocessing, feature extraction process and the final process of pattern classification Results of pattern recognition coins can be used to separate groups of coins, determine the value of coins from each group and calculate the total value of these coins exist. Keywords: Pattern Recognition, Preprocessing, feature extraction, classification

Abstract

Puzzle hitori bertujuan menghilangkan angka-angka yang sama dalam tiap baris dan kolom dengan menghitamkan tiap kotak kecil yang mengandung angka yang sama sehingga sisa kotak kecil tidak mengandung angka yang muncul lebih dari satu kali dalam satu baris atau kolom tertentu. Selain itu juga tidak diperbolehkan adanya dua kotak yang berdampingan secara horizontal ataupun vertikal yang dieliminasi. Setiap kotak yang dieliminasi juga tidak boleh memisahkan antara kotak non-eliminasi dengan kotak non-eliminasi lainnya. Karena penyelesaian manual puzzle ini membutuhkan waktu lama, maka dilakukan penelitian untuk menyelesaikan puzzle menggunakan bantuan piranti lunak dengan menerapkan aturan-aturan heuristic, yaitu starting, basic, corner dan advanced techniques.Ada 3 tingkatan kesulitan pada puzzle ini, yaitu : easy, medium dan hard. Berdasarkan pengujian yang dilakukan maka diketahui bahwa semakin besar ukuran puzzle, semakin banyak waktu yang diperlukan untuk menyelesaikannya. Selain itu, semakin tinggi tingkat kesulitan suatu puzzle, maka semakin banyak waktu yang dibutuhkan untuk menyelesaikan puzzle. Kata kunci: Solving puzzle hitori, heuristic search

Abstract

Computer technology developed rapidly could be used to visualize the real world, which could be developed for observation for research, learning, game development and so on. As an ecosystem with clear limited space, aquarium with various types of creatures living in it was a quite easy ecosystem to be visualized compared with other ecosystems. As an early stage of visualization, modeling was performed to a fish, as a creature in aquarium, with Belida Jawa as the focused type. By utilizing the principles and techniques of edge detection on Computer Vision, datas of form and movements of the fish in several frames of video data was processed before the manual measurement performed. Using the measurement data and Polinom Lagrange, equations of the fish’s body form and movements was formed. The equations was then tested by modeling the fish, either the form or movements, in 3D. The modeling was performed using Blender, where there was a Belida Jawa fish in the aquarium. In the testing stage, modeling using the equations obtained could be done. Furthermore, by using edge detection technique to process the data, the measurement was done more definitely and objectively. Keywords: Visualization, Modeling, Belida Jawa Fish

Abstract

Stock collection of drug is a problems that always pharmacist’s deal because of the difficulty of counting a large amounts of data and lack of checks on the existing data. The amount of data often lead to errors, mistakes and difficulties. The impact of chaos and loss accounts. Based on stock drug problems made predictions using the comparison method of Rough Set and Neural Network. Variables consist of drug names, drug type, drug dose, the drug unit, drug packaging, expiration, the stock of drugs, sold drugs, remaining drug and medication orders. RS make predictions in the form of decision systems, write a class equivalent to a discernibility matrix modulo D to form reduction. Reduct establish rules and knowledge. While the NN using backpropagation to determine the structure of the input nodes, hidden and output. Perform normalization, learning rate, error tolerance and maximum iteration values. Tests using Rosetta V1.4.41 RS and NN using Matlab 6.1. The final result gives the output of the RS prediction rule and knowledge. While the NN in the form of numbers and graphs. Abstract

Penelitian ini akan mengimplementasikan penggunaan media gelombang radio untuk mengendalikan pergerakan robot. Masalah yang dibahas dalam penelitian ini adalah bagaimana membuat sistem kendali robot beroda berbasis komputer yang mampu mengarahkan robot ke posisi tertentu dalam area jelajahnya berdasarkan informasi yang diperoleh dari kamera menggunakan media gelombang radio. Area jelajah robot memiliki permukaan bidang tempuh yang datar, area yang digunakan  berbentuk persegi panjang dengan dimensi 160 cm (panjang) x 80 cm (lebar). Robot hanya dapat digerakkan maju, mundur, kiri, dan kanan. Jarak tempuh merupakan kelipatan 10 sentimeter. Percobaan dilakukan untuk mengetahui kinerja sistem yang telah dirancang berupa ketepatan jarak tempuh , kemiringan dan kecepatan pergerakan robot beroda. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah pergerakan robot beroda dengan media gelombang radio yang dihasilkan mengalami kemiringan dengan rata-rata 6.35o ketika berjalan lurus 100 sentimeter dan jarak yang ditempuh robot memiliki kelebihan jarak rata-rata sejauh 9.14 sentimeter untuk pergerakan robot sepanjang 100 sentimeter. Kata Kunci : Sistem Kendali, Robot beroda, gelombang radio

Abstract

Management Consulting Institute (MCI) has the aim to assist SME (Small and Medium Enterprise) entrepreneurs in realizing their goals through their business activities. The final product provided by the MCI is suggestion of documents that must be done by the company in dealing with their problems. Of course, the processes are given through a stage of preliminary observations by collecting initial data and compared with the issues (problems) happened inside the company.In this study, we will develop a Knowledge-Based Systems that stores information in the form of reports from the consultation process between the MCI and SMEs. The system allows users (consultants within MCIs) to access a collection of knowledge and pick the most (or a set of) relevant knowledge (according to industry type, the type of problem, etc.) to be used in subsequent consultations. Also, there is a non-supervised learning facility to calculate the correlation between the documents with references available.This research uses case studies and report data on the projects Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) owned by MCI. Abstract

The large consumption of electric and electronic equipment (EEE) causes many countries introduced the regulations regarding of sustainability aspect of product. This conditions forces the manufacturers to be more creative and inovative in designing the product and selecting materials for the product. This paper present a new methodology of Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) for material selection – a part of sustainable product design. The method used is Life Cycle Assessment which case study choosed is hair dryer. Data is analyzed by using Sima Pro 7.1 Software. It is expected that the methodology will give the steps of material selection for sustainable product design.  The Results will be analyzed from Characterization, Normalization and Single Score graph. Abstract

Saat ini pemilihan model fungsi keanggotaan untuk parameter-parameter yang digunakan dalam proses fuzzy masih belum didasarkan kepada suatu panduan. Sebagai contoh untuk parameter suhu udara dapat di gunakan berbagai model fungsi keanggotaan, misalnya kurva segitiga atau trapezium. Karena tidak adanya panduan, umumnya model fungsi keanggotaan yang dipilih adalah model fungsi keanggotaan yang paling sering digunakan. Pada penelitian ini dilakukan analisa untuk melihat pengaruh pemilihan fungsi keanggotaan pada output sistem fuzzy. Fungsi keanggotaan yang digunakan adalah segitiga, bahu dan trapezium dengan range nilai yang sama untuk masing-masing parameter input dan output. Studi kasus yang digunakan adalah masalah pengontrolan penyiraman tanaman. Yang menjadi komposisi penilaian adalah suhu udara, kelembaban tanah, umur tanaman sebagai masukan dan tingkat penyiraman sebagai keluaran. Komposisi penilaian inilah yang menjadi masukan (input) dan keluaran (output) untuk proses perhitungan Fuzzy dan yang diujicobakan menggunakan dua model fungsi keanggotaan yang berbeda. Model pertama yaitu bahu dan segitiga, dan model kedua adalah bahu dan trapesizium. Kesimpulan dari pengujian penelitian ini adalah tidak ada perbedaan hasil yang signifikan ketika menggunakan model yang berbeda.Keyword : Fungsi keanggotaan, Fuzzy Logic, Segitiga, Bahu, Trapezium

Abstract

River level  forecasting is quite important for reservoir operation studies, flood planning and control, modeling and management water resources. In the last decade, the softcomputing model as a branch of the artificial intelligence science were introduction as a forecast tool beside knowledge based system, expert system, fuzzy logic, artificial neural network, and genetic algorithm. The method that used in this research was a combination between fuzzy logic and artificial neural network which usually called neuro fuzzy system of adaptive neuro fuzzy inference system (ANFIS) algorithm approach was used construct a river level forecasting system. The advantages of this method is that is use input- output data sets. In particular, the applicability of  ANFIS as an estimation model for river flow was investigated. To illustrate the applicability and capability the ANFIS, the River Indragiri, located the Indragiri Hulu Residence and the most important water resources of Indragiri  catchment’s, was choosen as a case study area. To totally 1997-2008 annual data sets collected years were used to estimate the River level. The models having various input structures were constructed and the best structure was investigated. In addition four various training / testing data were constructed by cross validation methods and the best data set was investigated. The performance  of the ANFIS models in training and testing sets were compared with the observation and also evaluated. The results indicated that the ANFIS can be applied successfully and provide high accuracy and reliability for River level  estimation in Indragiri River. Keywords : Forecasting, River level, Artificial Neural Network, Fuzzy Logic, Adaptive Neuro Fuzzy Inference System.

Abstract

A photovoltaic (PV) and a biogas digester systems have been proposed as sources of electrical and gas energy demand for a domestic household in a rural village in Riau Province. PV system was designed using the AS 4509.2-2002 standard, while the biogas digester was designed based on the gas demand for cooking and the minimum number of cattle in each household. With the average solar insolation of 4.2 kWh/m2/day, average daily energy demand of 2.5 kWh, and 362 Watt peak load, the analysis proposed a 900 VA inverter, 6 batteries of 102 Ah, 10 solar modules of 210 Wp, and a BCR of 40 A system. While the biogas system consisted of 4 m3 of biogas digester and 2m3 control digester, with average daily cooking time of 2.4 hours and at least 2 cattle per household. Using the life-cycle cost analysis, the cost of PV system during 20 years period was IDR 113.6 million and the cost of biogas digester for the same period was IDR 8.7 million. Keywords: AS 4509.2-2002, biogas, cattle, solar energy, life-cycle cost analysis.
