Abstract

Ovarian Cancer is a deadly disease, because the patient is too late to be aware of this diseaseand come late to treatment. To detect the condition of patient, it’s need examination such as USG withDoppler, CT scan abdomen or MRI. The examination cannot used to diagnose ovarian cancer, but only todo operation. Therefore, we need systems to analyze of this condition. One part of the systems is how toidentify area of cancer. In this paper, we use image from ct scan examination result. The methodExpectation Maximization with Gaussian Mixture Model (EM GMM) is used to segmentation of ovariancancer areas. The experiment result is EM-GMM method can separate image into some classificationbased on pixel feature, even though not so good to distinguish area of cancer and not cancer. It’s seen fromthe results of calculation of the percentage of pixels that estimated cancer or not, the value of TP(True Positive) is45%, while FP(False Positive) is 55%. It caused both of them are same in pixel value. To improve the result,we need another feature to segmentation, for example is shape feature.Keywords: CT scan Abdomen, Expectation Maximization, Gaussian Mixture Model, Ovarian Cancer.

Abstract

Semakin meningkatnya permintaan informasi, perusahaan penyedia layanan jasa telekomunikasi harus mampu memberikan pelayanan yang terbaik bagi pelanggan, dengan memperhatikan kualitas sarana telekomunikasi sepertipenggunaansentralteleponotomatisElectronic World Switch Digital (EWSD)sebagai sistem switching.Permasalahan yang terjadi ukuran kinerja sentral ditentukan oleh parameter performansi sentral sedangkan data parameter bersifat statistik dan berubah secara konitinu.Salah satu metode untuk menentukan ketersediaan parameter performansi sentral adalah dengan melakukan pemodelan terhadap data statistik parameter performansi sentral.Parameter yang dimodelkan antara lain Answer seizure ratio(ASR), Grade od service (GOS) dan Seizure Per Circuit Per Hour (SCH) melalui pendekatan beberapa model distribusi. Hasil pemodelan menunjukkan bahwa parameter ASR berdistribusi normal dengan nilai ketersediaan sebesar 44,32%,untuk nilai GOS berdistribusi eksponensial dengan nilai ketersediaansebesar 0,556 %, sedangkan untuk parameter SCH berdistribusi eksponensial dengan nilai ketersediaan sebesar 10,39%.Kata kunci:EWSD , Ketersediaan, Pemodelan Data, ,parameter Performansi sentral.

Abstract

Control on chemical process industries are generally nonlinear time variant, so that it needs a good performance. Controller Design is a series of how to get started with system control mathematical model system tuning parameters are controlled, controllers and simulate the design results. The controller has a good performance is obtained by providing accurate controller tuning parameters. This research discusses the design of PI controller using the Tuning in process Ziegeler Nichols Nonlinear Multivariable.The system is controlled using Matlab-Simulink simulated so get a response-controlled system. Response system that is used to determine the parameters of the method Ziegler Nichols.The result shows, PI controller design using Ziegler Nichols Tuning can reduce the time duration of tuning parameter control. By using the control Parameter Tuning for control of Ziegler Nichols open loop (method of reaction curves) on the output flow rate F (t) and the concentration of c-output (t) obtained the value of Kp = 0.36 and Ki = 1.666 .7 as for controlling close loop (oscillation method) on the output flow rate F (t) obtained the value of Kp = 0.45 and Ki = 0.69 and concentration of c-output (t) value = 0.45 Kp and Ki = ▲ 0.935.Keywords : PI Controller, Ziegler Nichols Tuning, Nonlinear Multivariable

Abstract

Car transport is a very valuable tool for people to travel from one place to another. Frequent carusers difficulties when their car was damaged, because lack of knowledge of car users inanalyzing troubleshooting the car in general and there has not been available a proper system model inproviding solutions to the damage of the car. Expert systems is a solution to help car users in givingknowledge to the car user in analyzing the damage of the car. Method of backward chaining and Methodof depth first search (DFS) is a method used to search the damage to the car.The process of tracing the damage done to the car by using a rule-based. Designing aknowledge base (knowledge base) is done by making a tree consisting of inference components, type ofdamage and damage characteristic that describes the problem until they reached the conclusion andsolutions the car problems these are stored into the Database Management System (DBMS). The next willbe determined the weight of the response of each problem so that can be formulated the value of thepercentage of damage to the car.Expert system is expected to perform toubleshooting process (problem solving) cars and canprovide solutions like an expert and can be accessed via the internet.Keyword : Car, Expert System, Backward Chaining, DFS, Database Management System

Abstract

There are many problems can happen to Hardware and Software notebook, those problems canbe detected from various symptoms, however in order to know exact problem types, it needs an expert onnotebook troubleshooting. Meanwhile there are small numbers of notebook troubleshooting experts,especially on remote areas. Therefore it needs a system that has ability of an expert on notebooktroubleshooting, whereby the system has notebook troubleshooting expertise about symptoms andproblems. This thesis designs an Expert System using Web-based application to help users in analyzingthe problem. The system uses Personal Home Page (PHP) as its web application language, and MyStructured Query Language (MySQL) as its Database Management System (DBMS). The benefits of theExpert System to detect notebook problems are easy-to-use and easy-to-access whereby users are ableto access the system using mobile phones that support Internet technology.Keywords: Expert System, Troubleshooting, Notebook, Database Management System.

Abstract

Performance measurement is an important factor for any organization. Performance measurement is used as a basis for planning the organization to achieve the goals set in the future and as a tool for assessing the success of the organization. Performance measurement, today is no longer needed by business organizations wishing to internal organizational process improvement. Performance measurement at this point has penetrated to the non profit organization, one of which is an educational institution, in this case the university. This study aims to determine the level of achievement of the organization performance in education, especially within the scope of a faculty. By using this method has been established over 32 IPMS objective strategy to be achieved are summarized into 9 (nine) aspects are perspectives that exist on the SMART System Model. From the analysis of the priorities that have been made, there are five main factors that are the focus of attention and a critical indicator of success in achieving the vision and mission set by the Faculty “X”. The resoult that have been performed Faculty performance index values obtained were 3.72 level. Refers to a standard level of achievement that is, it can be concluded that the achievement of the Faculty “X”, is still far from the expected target.Key words : Performance, IPMS Methods, SMART System Model.

Abstract

Geographic Information Systems (GIS) application is currently growing, and manyhave started to use for certain purposes. GIS itself is a computer-based system thatfacilitates data entry, data analysis and presentation of data, especially in the case whendealing with spatial data. Today there are many applications are used to develop GIS. Oneof GIS application is MapServer. MapServer is a open source software development environment that can be used to develop web based applications involving the display of spatialdata. As for the storage of spatial data can use PostGIS database. PostGIS is thedevelopment of PostgreSQL that can store and process spatial data type. In this paperwill be described GIS applications using MapServer and PostGIS to assist Dinas TataRuang dan Cipta Karya in terms of doing the analysis Location Permit and the LandUse Permit. Abstract

This research was the continuation of the earlier research which conducted to evaluate the design of palm fruit shells material handling using ENASE (Efisien “Efficient”, Nyaman “comfort”, Aman “Safe”, Sehat “Healthy”, Efektif “Effective”) concept. The data collected before and after the design processed for the standard time, heart beat rate, operator performance, and operator opinion from the questioners. The result showed the material handling designed made the system better than before. The Efficiency was showed by minimizing the working time (52,16%) and operator (50%). The Comfort gained by operator opinion that the handle is easy and comfort during the task. The Safety resulted from the using of wheel and tub which was appropriate with the worker and the conveyor. The Health was obtained from the reduce pain and suspended the fatigue from appears. While the Effective was accomplished from the standard output increasing (238%) which could sustain the productivity.Keywords: effective, efficient, ENASE, material handling, cangkang buah sawit

Abstract

In this paper discuss about application the control theory to form control vector in linier quadratic non-cooperative dynamic game two-player with Nash strategy for infinite time. Discuss was started from general equation for optimal control of continuous time, then discuss to continue to general equation for non-cooperative dynamic game N player for finite time with several assumption. Then, with the same assumption to made general equation for non-cooperative dynamic game two-player for infinite time, which consisting of differential equation dynamical system and objective function suitably. Moreover, with used control theory to form algebraic Riccati equation suitably with differential equation and objective function for each player. Based on algebraic Riccati equation was formed, gotten solution which used to form control vector suitably for each player. Finally gets to be concluded there are exists control vector in linear quadratic non-cooperative dynamic game two-player with Nash strategy for infinite time.Keywords: non-cooperative dynamic game, algebraic Riccati, control vector

Abstract

PT. XYZ merupakan perusahaan yang bergerak di industri otomotif yang menganut sistem produksi JIT yang membutuhkan kemampuan distribusi bahan baku berupa paket suku cadang dengan performansi yang tinggi. Salah satu permasalahan yang mempengaruhi performansi kinerja distribusi adalah container loading. Perencanaan penyusunan suku cadang dalam bentuk paket ke dalam truk merupakan fokus utama pada penelitian ini. Container loading yang dilakukan PT. XYZ memiliki tingkat kompleksitas yang tinggi,yang dipengaruhi oleh tingkat heterogen ukuran-ukuran paket. Penyelesaian masalah pada penelitian ini menggunakan sebuah metode perhitungan berbasis metaheuristik untuk melakukan optimasi container loading, yaitu algoritma genetik. Penggunaan algoritma genetik sebagai metode pencarian pola penyusunan dalam kontainer adalah untuk mencapai efisiensi pemakaian ruang kontainer yang optimal. Optimasi dari nilai efisiensi pemakaian ruang kontainer yang baik akan mempengaruhi jumlah paket suku cadang yang dapat diangkut tiap pengiriman. Semakin besar nilai efisiensi dapat mengurangi jumlah proses distribusi dari segi siklus pengiriman dan biaya transportasi kendaraan.Kata kunci: Container loading problem, algoritma genetik, optimasi.
