Wahana Islamika: Jurnal Studi Keislaman (Print ISSN 2599-2929; Online 2614-1124) has been published by the Sekolah Tinggi Agama Islam Al Husain (STAIAH) Magelang. Wahana Islamika is published twice a year in April and October, the contents are scientific writings Islamic studies both in the fields of economics, education, science of the Qur'an and tafsir in forms of conceptual ideas, literature review, practical writing, or research results from various perspectives.

<![CDATA[As one of the works of art, Islamic calligraphy is one medium of da'wah because it contains the value of the investigation. Therefore the purpose of this research is to know the values of education in Calligraphy Art in Serambi Seni Syaiful Adnan Yogyakarta. In order to realize the purpose of research, this research uses the method as well. Data analysis techniques researchers classify key words, create categories, formulate themes and integrate the results of analysis into depskriptif form. The results of the study found that Syaiful's work after having observed the values of education is mainly related to the psychological phenomena of Islamic education related to Islamic calligraphy, the basic values of art are the value of the content, the value of knowledge, the value of ideas, and the value of the message on the value of oral, aesthetic education. Calligraphy artworks Syaiful Adnan of the characters, colors, very determine the message and affect the attitude and nature for the Islamic education, psychology.]]>

<![CDATA[Fakfak community is known as religious society, friendly, good manners, maintaining tolerance among religious people, appreciating unity and unity because everything is contained in the philosophy and outlook of life. Philosophy of society Fakfak is a life view that was excavated and formed based on mutual consensus that contains the noble values of the people of Fakfak itself since time immemorial which then used as a bond and then the philosophy or life view is used as a guide and even motivation in running various aspects people's lives. The philosophy contains a substance where all attitudes and worldviews are based on "family religion" or "custom, religion and government" which are summed up into “satu tungku tiga batu”. Thus when the occurrence of Islamic transformation in the land of Papua and in Fakfak in particular it does not necessarily replace the existing values of Islam in the life of the people of Fakfak, even some aspects of the philosophy of society Fakfak is in line with the spirit of Islamic teachings as a religion that brings present "Grace" for nature and its contents including for the people of Fakfak.]]>

<![CDATA[Efforts to provide educational stimuli and develop every potential of children, requires the existence of teacher roles and performance that is to support the success of early childhood in developing creativity and all the potential that exists in children. Teachers are the most influential component to the creation of quality education processes and results. Based on this, this study aims to examine the effect of teachers' perceptions on transformational leadership and Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) on teacher performance. This study uses quantitative approach with the number of research subjects which amounted to 79 consisting of PAUD teachers in District Sedayu. The method of analysis used this research is multiple linier regression analysis. The results found that the perception of transformational leadership and organizational citizenship behavior had a positive and significant influence on teacher performance. In addition, the study also found that transformational leadership perceptions have greater influence on teacher performance when compared to the effects of organizational citizenship behavior on teacher performance.]]>

<![CDATA[The focus in this study was the implications of boarding school system at Asri Islamic Boarding School on the character building of students at SMP Syubbanul Wathon Tegalrejo, especially regarding how to develop and implement boarding school system to the character education of the students at at SMP Syubbanul Wathon Tegalrejo. This was a qualitative research, conducted at SMP Syubbanul Wathon Tegalrejo. The data collection techniques were observation, interview, and documentation. The data validity test was performed using triangulation of data sources. The data analysis used descriptive method. To conclude this research, boarding school model that supports character education of students is in the form of integrated learning through teaching-learning method (dirasah wa ta’li), making habit of virtuous behavior (ta’dib), spiritual activities (riyadhah), as well as giving a role model (uswah hasanah) by kyai/nyai and ustadz. In addition, the students’ activities are also monitored through regulations. All these are to support an education system that could result in virtuous character building of the students, where they are expected to be independent in many aspects of their daily lives.]]>

<![CDATA[The Qur'an as a protected holy book (al-kita>b al-mah}fu>z}) has crossed a long historical journey. It is revealed as a reading text (al-matlu>), than be a writing text (al-maktu>b). The tradtion of Qur`anic wiriting undergoes a very significant transformation; from traditional to modern (printing). Based on data, the oldest Qur`anic printing in Indonesia is found in Palembang with the codecology 21 Ramadhan 1264 H coinciding with 21 August 1848 M. This effort is done by al-Faqir ila Allah Ta'ala al-Hajj Muhammad Azhari bin Kemas al-Hajji Abdullah. The effort to print the Qur'an can not be separated from the role of the company and the government. Both have their respective roles. In general, companies play a role in producing/printing and distributing, while the government is more to the control function]]>

<![CDATA[The success of development is not sufficiently measured by using only economic measures but also must be supported by non-economic indicators. Where to measure the development of a State based on non-economic indicators that use Human Development Index (HDI). But in its activities, developing countries in both Asia and Africa are often hampered by high corruption practices. Based on this the authors are interested to see the effect of corruption on the provincial capitals in Indonesia. This study aims to see the effect of corruption in Indonesia as reflected in the Corruption Perception Index (IPK) on human development (HDI). The research design used is quantitative analysis. Sampling is done by using judgment sampling technique, where the research sample is some provincial capital in Indonesia with the data fulfill the criteria, so total data is 54 from 18 provincial capitals and three years of observation (2006, 2008, 2010). The analytical technique used to answer all objectives in this research is to use sregresi data panel analysis. The results show that simultaneously corruption adversely affects human development. This means that the higher the level of corruption, the lower the human development, where the effect of corruption on human development of 11.06%.]]>

<![CDATA[The existence of interest between principal and agent, hence arises a conflict of interest in management of Syria bank. In order to minimize the conflict, the implementation of GCG can be one of the solutions. Implementation of GCG, which is done consistently and continuously in the end can improve the financial performance of sharia banks. The type of this study is the study of causality with quantitative approach. The number of samples in the study was 13 sharia banks with documentation as their data collection method. Data analysis technique in this research is using a panel data regression method with the help of software Evies version 9. The result of this research indicates that GCG implementation has significant influence to NPF, ROA, and BOPO. The implementation of GCG in this study proved to have no effect on ROE and FDR.]]>

<![CDATA[The purpose of this study is to determine whether there is a difference between the performance of sharia mutual fund shares with market performance by using the Sharpe Method, Treynor, TT Index and MM Index. This study is comparative, IE compares the return rate of sharia mutual fund shares with ISSI index return as a benchmark. The samples taken there are 7 sharia mutual fund shares of the total population of 85 sharia mutual fund shares during the study period. The data used are NAV/investment units of each sharia mutual fund shares, SWBI, and ISSI return. The data are in the form of daily data for 6 months, from October 1, 2015 to March 2016. The results of this study indicate that the Shariah mutual fund performance measured by the Sharpe method during the period October 2015 to March 2016 has a positive performance. Shariah mutual fund performance measured by the Treynor method during the period October 2015 to March 2016 has 6 positive Treynor values and 1 negative Treynor value. Sharia mutual fund performance measured by the TT index method during the period October 2015 to March 2016 has 6 positive TT index values and 1 negative TT index value. Sharia mutual fund performance measured by MM index method during period of October 2015 until March 2016 has MM index positive value, but the return is smaller than market performance return (ISSI).]]>

<![CDATA[The success of learning History of Islamic Culture (SKI) can be influenced by many factors one of which is the method of learning. In fact the actual learning of SKI is not difficult, but many students who have less satisfactory learning outcomes in the lesson SKI. From this condition the authors try to use the Reading Rolling Text method (RRT) in the learning of SKI. The sample used in this study is the Class VIII Junior High School Students Al-Firdaus Mertoyudan Magelang District, which amounted to 25 students. Data analysis using descriptive analysis and parametric inferential statistical analysis with paired sample t test statistic. Test paired sample t test is a test conducted where the same sample but has two different data. The results of this study show that the use of RRT methods in SKI learning can improve learning outcomes.]]>
