AbstractThis study aimed to determine the role of teacher to studentâs moralityeducation, the strategy of Al - Islam teacher to improve student morality, thesupporting factors and inhibitors in building studentâs morality of 9 gradestudent in SMP Muhammadiyah 15 Surabaya. This study used descriptivequalitative method. The research data were collected by using observation,interview and documentation method, then analyzed by using inductiveapproach and validity test. The results indicated that: activities of moralformation that teachers do i.e. night prayer, tahfidz Qurâan, and dzuhur prayingin congregation. Teaching strategies of PAI Teacher used inquiry strategies,approached to student by using a variety of methods such as lecturing method,habituation method, and counseling method. The supporting factors: (a)family factors or parent who has very active role to participate in fosteringstudentâs morality, (b) environment or community around the school, (c) theenvironment around studentâs residence has been thick with religious thing, (d)schoolâs rules to prevent studentâs delinquency. Inhibiting Factors are (a) therewas no enough time to foster much morality on student. (b) Lack of schoolâsprovision. (c) Different studentâs attitude and behavior. (d) Uncontrollablestudent association. (e) Lack of studentsâ awareness to attend activities requiredby the school. (f) Inadequate supporting facilities and infrastructures. AbstractThis reseach aimed to determine the background of the emergence of streetchildren stayed Puri Indah shelter house of Sidoarjo. In addition, this reseachalso aimed to determine the pattern of communication that is formed, thesteps of assistance and the factors driving and inhibiting the implementation ofstreet child educational pattern. Qualitative descriptive research was done bycollecting data using interviews, observation, literature study and documents.The informant was chosen by using purposive sampling. Analytical techniquesused interactive analysis model which includes data collection, data reduction,data presentation and conclusion. From the research results could be seenthat the cause of the emergence of street children because of economic factors,family disorganization, street family dynasties and customs tangent with streetchildren. Responding to this Puri Indah shelter house of Sidoarjo madeeducation pattern to street children. The communication pattern formed inthis program is the formal communication seen at the time of routine learningand field study, non-formal communication seen in activity outside schooland is more relaxed. Non verbal communication seen from the response oflimbs of students. In connection with the interaction, there emerged a linearcommunication model, transactional and intransactional. The Puri Indahshelter house of Sidoarjo has innovative teaching methods both conductedby teachers and involving the active role of students. In order for our programto be more qualified, Puri Indah shelter house of Sidoarjo provided variousfacilities for students such as supporting books, bicycle, stationery library andpaying attention to their nutrition. Nevertheless there was no doubt there weresome weaknesses such as the arrogant nature of the students, the credibilityof teachers who had not maximized, the limited facilities of infrastructure.However it could be overcome with the spirit of all elements and support ofall parties. Keywords: Education, Parenting, Street Children

Currently, education management in Indonesia recognizes two mechanisms, namely centralization and decentralization system, in the centralized system of education administration regulated by the central government. This study aims to find out how the implementation of School Based Management (SBM) in KHM NUR Junior High School Surabaya, knowing what programs are implemented in KHM NUR Junior high School Surabaya and aims to determine what factors that support and hinder the implementation of School Based Management (SBM) in an effort to improve the quality of education at KHM NUR Junior High School Surabaya. The type of research used in this study is Field Research, which is studying intensively about the background of the present state, in the interaction of a social, individual, group, institution, and society. Technique of data analysis used qualitative descriptive. The findings of this study can be concluded; first: Implementation of School Based Management (SBM) at KHM. NUR Junior High School Surabaya has been well scheduled. Second: The programs that have been implemented as the implementation of School Based Management (SBM) in KHM. NUR Junior High School Surabaya in academic and non-academic field. Third: Supporting and inhibiting factors in the implementation of School Based Management (SBM) in KHM. This study aims to find out and explore how does the headmaster implement it? what is the obstacle facing him? what strategy is done? This research uses four approaches that are pedagogies, sociological, juridical and psychological. The sources of the data are primary and secondary. The instruments are interviews, observation guides, check list observation, and documentation. The research techniques are data reduction techniques, data presentation, and conclusions. From the results of the research of school-based management in SMP Muhammadiyah 4 Gempol, it can be concluded: The headmaster has implemented school-based management but the implementation has not fully implement school-based management. The headmaster as a leader using School Based Management still needs improvement and improvement of teacher quality and good cooperation with school partners. Constraints faced a) Lack of educational facilities and infrastructure b) lack of teacher competency c) lack of parental support of learning process, d) lack of intensive and maximal socialization, e) lack of master of technology. Strategies undertaken in implementing school-based management ie a) doing relationship with relevant agencies to provide the facilities and the infrastructure b) improving teacher competence by involving teachers in trainings c) doing relationship with parents to improve the quality of education. The implications of this research is expected for the headmasters and teachers to always perform their duties and functions respectively each other. To the teachers of SMP Muhammadiyah 4 Gempol, to always strive to improve the professionalism of work for the quality of school education in particular and in general can be better. This study aims to reveal the Professionalism of Islamic Religious Education teacher in State Senior High School 17 Surabaya in improving the students’ learning quality. As well as improving the students’ learning quality in State Senior High School 17 Surabaya. The method used in this research is analytical descriptive research that is a research that aims to give a picture of reality on object that is studied objectively. The source of the research data obtained from observation, interview, questionnaire and documentation. This research took place from December 15, 2017 to February 15, 2018. Research proved that the professionalism of Islamic Religious Education teacher in State Senior High School 17 Surabaya is good enough. Professional teachers are teachers who can be mature, able to control themselves, not easily carried away emotions. Be objective, teachers who have academic qualifications in accordance with their field of Bachelor of Islamic Religious Education, have four competencies (pedagogic competence, knowledge, personality and social competence). This research aims to reveal the thoughts possessed by the kyais and ustadz in Pesantren al-Mukmin on the tauẖîd education, and their implementation. The method used in this reseach was qualitative. The results of this research are as follows. Firstly, tauẖîd is given a special attention since the main aim of education in the pesantren al-Mukmin Ngruki is to produce a muslim generation with pure tauẖîd coloring all their lives. KH. Wahyudin and ustadz Abdurrahim Ba’asyir Lc understand tauẖîd in line with Ibnu Taimiyah and Muhammad bin Abdul Wahab. Secondly, Tauẖîd education in Pesantren al-Mukmin Ngruki using three methods of education; the doctrine of tauẖîd values, understanding, and practice. Meanwhile the learning of tauẖîd in the Pesantren al-Mukmin Ngruki more adopted the concept of tauẖîd proposed by Muhammad bin Abdul Wahab and Ibn Taimiyah since the books studied in the ẖalaqah program are written by Muhammad bin Abdul Wahab, while those studied in the learning of tauẖîd in the class are written by Dr. Shalih Fauzan who is one of the figures in the Muhammad bin Abdul Wahab tauẖîd dakwah movement in Saudi Arabia. the senior high school of Muhammadiyah 4 Surabaya is a school continually experienced various developments including in an effort to improve the performance of the teachers. SMA Muhammadiyah 4 Surabaya is a religion-based school in Karangpilang which experiences increasing number of students and community interest from year to year. It cannot be separated from the strategy and active role of the principal. This study aims to find out and explore what is the leadership strategy of school principals in improving teachers’ performance in SMA Muhammadiyah 4 Surabaya? And what are the supporting factors and obstacles of school principals in improving teachers’ performance in SMA Muhammadiyah 4 Surabaya? This is a qualitative research with descriptive approach. The process of data collection is done by using observation, interview and documentation. Data are collected and analyzed through several stages including data collection, reduction, and presentation then drawing conclusions in accordance with the scope of the problem. As the findings of this study, it can be concluded that: First, Principal Leadership Strategy in improving teacher performance in SMA Muhammadiyah 4 Surabaya consists of 9 strategies. Second, the supporting factors in this school environment consist of 3 factors and the inhibiting factors consist of 2 factors. The supporting factors are teacher education level, conducive climate, and mental condition of the teachers. The inhibiting factors are caused by internal and external factors. The internal factor is budget limitation while the external factor is the parents’ financial conditions. Keywords: Strategy, Leadership, Teachers’ Performance

This study aims to describe and analyze the existing religious messages in a 29 Juz Harga Wanita novel, which is about the value of Islamic Education in Novel by Ma'mun Affany. The method used in this study is interpretive research, i.e. research that performs analysis to get the meaning of a phenomenon and aims to gain a deep understanding, especially the value of Islamic education and its relevance in novel 29 Juz Harga Wanita by Ma'mun Affany. This study focuses on literature review, which is utilizing the source library to obtain research data without doing field research. Make the novel as an educational medium by taking lessons from the messages contained therein. The data are grouped into three kinds, namely (1) the data of the faith value in the 29 Juz Harga Wanita novel which includes (a) faith in God; (b) faith in the books of God; (c) faith in qada and qadar, (2) data of religious devotion values in 29 Juz Harga Wanita novel that includes (a) Istiqomah (sticking to religion) (b) Ikhtiar (try and pray); (c) obey the prayer; (d) tawaadlu (humble/not arrogant); (e) qona'ah (willing and sufficient for all that is owned); and 3) data of noble values in 29 Juz Harga Wanita novel which includes: (a) nobility to Allah, (b) noble character to man that is to self, family, neighbor, society; and (c) nobility to the environment. As rahmatan lil Alamin, Islam placed women in a glorious place. Islam is a religion that respects and appreciates women and men to God in absolute terms. There is relevance between the values of Islamic Religious Education in 29 Juz Harga Wanita novel, with the goal of Islamic religious education that is to invite humans to do good and avoid bad nature in accordance with the norms that have been established by Islam. Islam has given a clear concept about the procedure or process of a marriage based on the Qur'an and the Sunnah as-saheeh.
