Abstract

Research aims to understand the influence of advertising political to perceptions of of the city of medan 2018 with research methodology quantitative. In the determination of sample, used in this research is  a multistage random sampling. Technique election sample approach in formula taro yamane conducted in decker and usually based on territorial division. The sample of the in research is 100 people. The subject of study it involves the voters who lives in urban village Pangkalan mansyur kecamatan medan johor of the city of medan. The results of this study found that there is a powerful relationship between the influence of advertising political to the attitudes voters. 37,00% of respondents said that the call political good affect on confidence voters. 49,00% of respondents said that the call political impact on confidence voters. And only 14,00 % of respondents said that that the call political has not been affecting the confidence voters. The result of the research also see the relationship excellent correlation between the influence of advertising political of the decision choose candidate couple. 43,00% of respondents said that the call political very influential of the decision choose candidate couple. 41,00% of respondents said political advertising to have an influence of the decision choose the couple and only 16,00% of respondents who said that there had there an effect between political advertising by a decree of the choose the couple . Largely through advertising political outdoor media, selector has basis in determining attitudes and his behavior. Behavior can be addressed voters delivery voting rights and make the choice of candidate couple who is, in this case one of a pair of future governors and vice governors north sumatra years 2018-2023.

Abstract

Pola komunikasi juga merupakan bentuk dan penerapan komunikasi yang dilakukan secara (vertikal) oleh pimpinan dan anggotanya, atau bentuk komunikasi yang dilakukan secara (horizontal) oleh sesama anggota dalam suatu kegiatan atau cara, untuk berbagi informasi, hiburan, berbagi pengetahuan, motivasi, kerjasama, serta pemecahan masalah agar dapat mendapat solusi tentang masalah yang dihadapi dan mencapai tujuan bersama. Dalam hal ini pola komunikasi yang di  lakukan adalah berkaitan dengan komunikasi Masyarakat Jawa Deli dalam melestarikan kesenian Reog Ponorogo di Tanah Deli. Baik secara verbal maupun non verbal serta yang sifatnya pribadi atau secara kelompok. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana pola komunikasi dan proses interaksi masyarakat Jawa Deli dengan lingkungannya dalam tujuan melestarikan kesenian Reog Ponorogo. Metode penelitian yang digunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa setiap komunikasi dalam kelompok terdiri dari komunikasi yang terjadi antar pribadi yang tergabung dalam kelompok, kemudian bersatu menjadi aspirasi untuk disampaikan secara terbuka di dalam kelompok. Kemudian peneliti melihat bahwa proses komunikasi masyarakat Jawa Deli dalam melestarikan kesenian Reog di lakukan secara teori seperti kumpulan  dan diskusi kelompok serta juga secara praktek dengan menggelar pertunjukan sebagai bentuk interaksi dengan masyarakat lainnya. Kata Kunci : Komunikasi Organisasi, Reog Ponorogo, Budaya

Abstract

His study aims to to see how trend fashion truth of the community hijab medan and to know the factors that encourage trend fashion hijab to the concept of self hijabers community hijab medan. This research uses the method descriptive qualitative to technique data collection in research which is through a method of interviews and observation in the research locations. Abstract

Issues of humanitarian crisis experienced by ethnic Rohingya back public interest. They have to leave the country and identified him as of asylum seekers. The search the asylum finally get them to the evacuation of hotel the rainbow of the city of Medan that is under the supervision of home detention immigration Medan. Research methodology used in this research is the method descriptive qualitative. The results of the study shows that in social intercourse that took place on ethnic Rohingya in the city of Medan, has resulted in the social process associative namely accommodation. Accommodation is the process of adjusting social occurring in a interaction. Communication and culture like two sides of the coin that cannot be separated. Communication individual influenced by the culture she had been learning as a kid. Therefore, ethnic Rohingya have to do adaptation to can keep existence her during years be in Medan. Forms example of an adaptation done by ethnic Rohingya in the city of Medan of language, food, clothing, way serve, and the state of the geographical.

Abstract

ABSTRACT This research was conducted to obtain motives and the usage patterns instagram among the students unimed the economics faculty of economic education course of study. Population in this research is 490 people. Sample a total of 49 people in this research. A theory that used in this research is a theory uses and gratification. Methods used in this research is quantitative research methods. The technique of analysis in this research is a technique of the data analysis by doing tabulation of the results of such data that has been filled by respondents, the data obtained next shown in the form table a frequency distribution. The result of this research revealed that motive respondents using instagram is to “pleasure seeking/ entertainment“ Using patterns of instagram in respondents tend to irregular, according to the research using patterns of instagram generally seen from the frequency of a total of more than 4 ( four ), duration less than 1 ( one ) hours, the use of more at night, content most widely seen is a photo sites tutorial video. Keyword: Motives, Patterns and Instagram

Abstract

M-Radio 91,6 FM merupakan  badan usaha milik Universitas Muhammadiyah Sumatera Utara (UMSU). M-Radio adalah radio komersial bukan sebagai radio komunitas. M-Radio satu-satunya radio kampus di sumatera utara yang bersifat komersial. Format isi siaran radio mencerminkan nilai-nilai islami, bahasa yang digunakan juga tidak vulgar. M-Radio  aktif dalam menyiarkan dakwah Muhammadiyah serta turut  mensosialisasikan UMSU ditengah-tengah masyarakat. M-Radio diharapkan mampu berperan sebagai badan usaha UMSU yang potensial dan maju dalam hal bisnis penyiarannya. Di era digital saat ini siaran radio mulai ditinggalkan karena menjamurnya media online, sehingga mengalahkan eksistensi radio. Saat ini siapa saja bisa membuat siaran radio  dengan biaya terjangkau, seperti radio online dan radio streaming. Masyarakat lebih tertarik menggunakan fasilitas internet daripada  mendengarkan radio. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaiamana pihak M-Radio menjaga eksistensi dalam menghadapi persaingan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi. Metode penelitian yang dipakai adalah metode deskriptif dengan analisis data kualitatif. Dalam hal ini yang menjadi fokus penelitian  adalah  bagaimana  manajemen M-Radio menjaga eksistensinya dalam perkembangan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi. Hasil dari penelitian ini nantinya  untuk memberi masukan  kepada M Radio sebagai bahan pertimbangan untuk mengikuti selera pasar guna menjaga eksistensinya.    Kata kunci: Radio, Teknologi Informasi dan Komunikasi

Abstract

One form of a public relations governing relations between companies and their employees are employee relations. Employee relations done between other to create form a connection or communication two directions the management of with the karyawannyadalam efforts to build cooperation and harmonious relations between. PDAM Tirtanadi the giants agul is a company that routinely activity employee relations. This study attempts to know whether there are relations between variables employee relations with a variable satisfaction komunikasi.jenis research is correlational research with the quantitative approach. As for population in research is all the employees PDAM Tirtanadi the branch sei agul which consisted of 60 of the calculation on, obtained value rxy 0,5975, while r table namely 0,254 with the number of respondents 60 and the economic situation of significance 5 percent. Its requirements is if r count & gt; of r table so ha received and h0 rejected, and if r count & lt; r table so h0 received and ha rejected.The calculation on is r count & gt; of r table. Thus, h0 were rejected and ha accepted, which means activities employe relations very influential significant impact on satisfaction employees communication.Keywords: Public Relations, employee relations, Communication Organization

Abstract

The research objective  for  analyze the effect of communication credibility of Field Extension Officer for Family Planning (PLKB) towards the Increasing of family planning acceptors in Medan. Analyze credibility communication of Field Extension Officer for Family Planning (PLKB) in Medan. Analyze the increasing of Family Planning acceptor in Medan. Researcher using the paradigm of positivism as a research guideline, which is researcher defined as a process of the linear communication or causal process that reflects the communicator to alter the knowledge (attitudes or behavior) of the passive communicant.  The results of the research are the communication credibility of PLKB towards the increasing of family planning acceptors in Medan has a positive and significant relation. Corellation value of Karl Spearman by 0,59 have correlation two variable can be stated there are effect of the communication credibility of PLKB towards the increasing of family planning acceptors in Medan.  The communication credibility of PLKB in Medan based on the standart honesty, the professionalism, the dynamic and the objective in counselling to execution of duties everyday. Increasing of family planning acceptors in Medan achieved by organizing, implementing, monitoring and evaluation of program KB  on the claim, warrants, and data.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to look at  how Badan Perjuangan Rakyat Penunggu Indonesia (“Indonesian People Struggle Struggle Agency”) (BPRPI) conducted a communication strategy to restore land of the Malays in North Sumatera. The method used is descriptive qualitative. Data collection is done by observation, interview and literature from various sources. That the ways and strategies of communication undertaken by BPRPI in returning streetland to the Malay community is to use public spheres to build the Malay ethnicity issue, to build a collective memory discourse (ulayat rights land and ulayat land) using mass media as well as hybrid media, to disseminate the BPRPI’s struglgle to the public. The communication strategy of the BPRPI, received support from the Malay society, legally BPRPI won its struggle, but politically until now the goal to be achieved has not been fully realized right. Until now BPRPI continue to strugle to get the land of the street.Keyword: Communication strategy, BPRPI, street land (tanah jaluran), public sphere, media impact.
