Abstract

This research aims to analyze the influence of education and training, compensation on the performance of Aviation Security (AvSec) officers through work motivation at Sultan Thaha Jambi Airport. The method used in this research is descriptive verification and quantitative methods, with a sample size of 46 people. This research uses the PLS analysis method. The research results show that 1) education and training variables have a positive and significant effect on work motivation, but compensation variables do not have a significant effect on work motivation; 2) education and training variables, compensation variables and work motivation variables have a positive and significant effect on performance; and 3) education and training variables have a positive and significant effect on performance through work motivation, but compensation variables do not have a significant effect on performance through work motivation for aviation security (AvSec) officers at Sultan Thaha Jambi Airport.

Abstract

Corporate governance is a crucial element in supporting the competitiveness and sustainability of companies in a dynamic business environment. This article discusses three main theories underpinning corporate governance: agency theory, stakeholder theory, and stewardship theory. These theories offer different perspectives on the relationships between managers and stakeholders and their impact on effective governance. This research employs a qualitative approach with an interpretivist paradigm to understand the social constructions and subjective meanings of corporate governance practices in Indonesia. The findings reveal that while good governance generally enhances company performance, the effectiveness of various governance elements differs. Cultural factors and ownership structures also play a significant role in determining the form and success of corporate governance. These insights provide new perspectives for formulating more flexible and contextual governance strategies.

Abstract

This research aims to determine and analyze the influence of customer value and quick service on customer satisfaction at Connection 88 Cafe Medan. The customer value provided by Connection 88 Cafe is considered to have not been fulfilled and customers also have not received good social recognition when they are at Connection 88 Cafe. The service provided by Connection 88 Cafe is also considered to be poor and customers feel uncomfortable with the quality of the food they receive. This research is associative research and the type of data used is quantitative data. The population in this study were Connection 88 Cafe customers in Medan City. The number of samples in this study was 140 people with a sampling technique using purposive sampling with the criteria of having made a purchase at Connection 88 Cafe Medan. Data analysis used multiple linear regression analysis. The results of this research show that simultaneously customer value and quick service have a positive and significant effect on customer satisfaction at Connection 88 Cafe Medan. Partially, customer value and quick service have a positive and significant effect on customer satisfaction at Connection 88 Cafe Medan.

Abstract

This research is quantitative research which aims to determine the elements that can influence tax avoidance, such as various financial and non-financial ratios. Liquidity, leverage, profitability, activity, growth, company value, and corporate social responsibility (CSR) are some of the indicators considered. The population is 124 non-cyclical consumer sector issuers listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) for the 2020-2022 period. Using the purposive sampling method, there were 36 issuers as samples in this research. Data analysis uses multiple linear regression. The research results show that the activity ratio variable has a positive and significant effect on tax avoidance. However, the variables liquidity ratio, leverage, profitability, growth, company value and corporate social responsibility (CSR) have no significant effect on the tax avoidance variable in the non-cyclical consumer sector listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) for the 2020-2022 period.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the influence of women's participation in parliament, the women's gender development index, women's per capita income and women's life expectancy on women's poverty levels in big cities in Indonesia for the 2017-2022 period. This research is quantitative research using the panel data regression method with the best model, namely the Fixed Effect Model (FEM). The results of the simultaneous significant test show that in 2017-2022 the variables Women's Participation, Women's Gender Development Index, Women's Per Capita Income and Women's Life Expectancy have a simultaneous effect on Women's Poverty Levels in big cities in Indonesia in 2017-2022. The results of the partial significance test show that the variable Women's Life Expectancy has a negative and significant effect on women's poverty in 2017-2022. Meanwhile, the variables Women's Participation, Women's Gender Development Index, and Women's Per Capita Income do not have a significant effect on women's poverty in 2017-2022.

Abstract

A comfortable and safe store atmosphere, coupled with excellent, high-quality service, are important factors that contribute to consumer satisfaction. Leng Coffee Pekanbaru, has strategically developed a safe and pleasant store atmosphere, and has implemented the best service which of course not only meets but also exceeds consumer expectations, as a strategy to face intense business competition. This research aims to assess the influence of store atmosphere and service quality on consumer satisfaction at Leng Coffee Pekanbaru. This research uses a descriptive statistical approach and quantitative statistics with an explanatory research model. The sample consisted of 100 respondents selected through the incidental sampling method. The main research instrument used was a questionnaire. The results of this research found that store atmosphere and service quality have a positive influence on consumer satisfaction both partially and simultaneously at Leng Coffee Pekanbaru.

Abstract

Women are generally identified with the role of household affairs due to the perception of patriarchal culture, social and religious factors which are often used as the background. However, as time goes by, women's thinking is also developing, this can be seen from the increasing number of women's participation in politics and organizations. Even now women can become leaders like men. The aim of this research is to determine women's leadership in Indonesia from 2000-2022. This research uses a bibliometric approach. Data sourced from Sinta indexed journals totaling 123 studies. The research results show that the development of research trends related to women's leadership has experienced positive growth, especially in the 2018-2022 range

Abstract

This study aims to prove the effect of taxation, tax sanctions, and service quality on participation in the tax amnesty program with financial condition as a moderating variable. This research is quantitative and primary data. Research time: This research was conducted from April to May 2023 with 105 respondents, namely taxpayers. This study uses Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA) where the results of the research show that knowledge of taxation does not affect participation in the tax amnesty program. Meanwhile, tax sanctions and service quality influence tax amnest participation. As well as financial conditions moderate the influence of tax knowledge on participation in tax amnesty while financial conditions do not moderate the effect of tax sanctions on participation in tax amnesty and financial conditions do not moderate the effect of service quality on participation in tax amnesty.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine the sharia economic perspective, disclosures made by 12Passtuff (Korean Outfit Medan Binjai) through online sales and purchases. Nowadays, online sellers implement various marketing strategies to attract customers and increase public awareness of their goods. This research uses a qualitative descriptive methodology. Data collection methods include document review, interviews, and/or observation. The search engine is 12Passstuff which uses the gift giving method in sales promotions by utilizing internet media for sales. The findings of this research reveal that there are no religious haram requirements in the competition held by 12Passtuff.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine the influence of neng-ning-nung-nang teachings and religiosity on students' intentions to take online loans. This research is quantitative by utilizing primary data. A total of 110 respondents were selected in this study using snowball sampling techniques, where questionnaires were sent using Google Form. This research data was processed using SPSS. The results of this study found that neng-ning-nung-nang teachings and religiosity had a negative effect on students' intentions to take online loans
