Abstract

Learning activities of appreciation of literary works, especially poetry which have been conducted by the teacher, need to be reviewed. The learning process that is dominated by the teacher can limit student involvement. This study aims to improve students' ability to appreciate poetry through Taba model. This research was conducted for one month. This research used the classroom action research (CAR) method. The data were analyzed quantitatively. The research results obtained that the ability of students to appreciate in poetry were increased. It can be seen from the evaluation results of learning and observations of teacher and student activities. The evaluation results of Cycle I is 51.5 Cycle II 71.3 and Cycle III 85, while the results of observation of Cycle I from 'less' criteria turned into 'enough', Cycle II from 'enough' to 'good' and cycle III from 'good' to 'very good'. From these results it can be concluded that learning through Taba model can improve students' ability to appreciate poetry. Abstrak Kegiatan pembelajaran apresiasi karya sastra terutama puisi yang selama ini dilakukan oleh guru, perlu ditinjau kembali. Proses pembelajaran yang didominasi oleh guru dapat membatasi keterlibatan siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan siswa dalam mengapresiasi puisi melalui model Taba. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan selama satu bulan. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK). Data dianalisis secara kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh bahwa kemampuan siswa mengapresiasi dalam puisi meningkat. Hal itu dapat dilihat dari hasil evaluasi belajar dan hasil observasi kegiatan guru dan siswa. Siklus I hasil evaluasi 51,5 siklus II 71,3 dan siklus III 85, sedangkan hasil observasi siklus I dari kreteria ‘kurang’ berubah menjadi ‘cukup’, siklus II dari ‘cukup’ berubah menjadi ‘baik’ dan siklus III dari ‘baik’ berubah menjadi ‘sangat baik’. Dari hasil tersebut maka dapat disimpulkan, bahwa pembelajaran melalui model Taba dapat meningkatkan kemampuan siswa dalam mengapresiasi puisi. Kata Kunci: Model Taba, Apresiasi, Puisi, PTK

Abstract

Writing is an activity of delivering messages, ideas, feelings, and information in writing to others. One of the writing activities studied in class VII is the writing of the procedure text. Based on the initial observation in SMP Negeri 8 Banda Aceh obtained the idea that the ability of students to write the correct procedure text is still lacking. So the research aims to determine the enhancement of the procedure text writing method with a model learning pair checks in students of class VII-1 SMP Negeri 8 Banda Aceh. This type of research is class action research (CAR). The research subject is a grade VII-1 student numbering 27 people. Data collection is done by providing tests to students. The results showed that students ' writing skills in the I cycle of the average value of the student test was 74, including the incomplete cathedral. Furthermore, in the cycle II the average grade test of students is 84 then the learning will already include complete category. Based on the data it can be concluded that the study pair checks can improve the ability of students in writing. Abstrak Menulis merupakan suatu kegiatan penyampaian pesan, gagasan, perasaan, dan informasi secara tertulis kepada pihak lain. Salah satu kegiatan menulis yang dipelajari di kelas VII yaitu menulis teks prosedur. Berdasarkan observasi awal di SMP Negeri 8 Banda Aceh diperoleh gambaran bahwa kemampuan siswa menulis teks prosedur secara tepat masih kurang. Sehingga penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan kemampuan menulis teks prosedur dengan model pembelajaran pair checks pada siswa kelas VII-1 SMP Negeri 8 Banda Aceh. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Adapun subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas VII-1 berjumlah 27 orang. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan memberikan tes kepada siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan menulis siswa pada siklus I nilai rata-rata tes siswa adalah 74 maka termasuk katergori belum tuntas. Selanjutnya, pada siklus II nilai rata-rata tes siswa adalah 84 maka ketuntasan belajar sudah termasuk kategori tuntas. Berdasarkan data tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran pair checks dapat meningkatkan kemampuan kemampuan siswa dalam menulis. Kata Kunci :Menulis, Teks Prosedur, Model Pair Checks

Abstract

The rate of development of information and technology in a frame of increasingly rapid digitalization also affects the increasing use of social media in society. Some social media that are developing at this time such as facebook, instagram, twitter, youtube, etc. have given birth to a new lifestyle in social life. The use of social media can make a person's social interaction done at any time and condition. This research aims to describe the forms of language variety in Andi Hiyat's twitter media over a span of one week. The study was conducted qualitatively with data in the form of written text. The data is examined with a sociolinguistic approach to see the variety of languages ​​used by the author. The results showed that the variety of spoken languages ​​in Twitter Andi Hiyat included in a variety of social languages. The characteristics of social language can be seen from the following eight aspects namely zeroization, diphthongization, addition of graphs, graphical changes, lexical changes, ellipsis, onomatopoeia, and mixing code. Abstrak Laju perkembangan informasi dan teknologi dalam bingkai digitalisasi yang semakin pesat turut berpengaruh pada meningkatnya penggunaan media sosial dalam masyarakat. Beberapa media sosial yang berkembang saat ini seperti facebook, instagram, twitter, youtube, dll telah melahirkan gaya hidup baru dalam kehidupan sosial bermasyarakat. Pemakaian media sosial dapat membuat interaksi sosial seseorang dilakukan pada waktu dan kondisi apapun. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan bentuk ragam bahasa dalam media twitter Andi Hiyat selama rentang waktu satu minggu. Penelitian dilakukan secara kualitatif dengan data berupa teks tulis. Data tersebut dikaji dengan pendekatan sosiolinguistik untuk melihat ragam bahasa yang digunakan penulis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ragam bahasa lisan dalam twitter Andi Hiyat masuk dalam ragam bahasa sosial. Adapun penciri bahasa sosial dilihat dari delapan aspek berikut yaitu, zeroisasi, diftongisasi, penambahan grafi, perubahan grafi, perubahan leksikal, pelesapan, onomatope, dan campur kode. Abstract

This study aims to describe the religious values ​​in the novel The Split Month in the American Sky by Hanum Salsabiela Rais and Rangga Almahendra. The research method used is descriptive method with research in the form of research qualitative. The approach used is the genetic structuralism approach. The data in the research in this novel are excerpts in the form of words and sentences in the novel Split in the American Sky. The technique of collecting data uses documentary studies. The research instrument is the researcher himself as the main instrument. Data checking techniques are observed by: 1) Adequacy of references, b) Examination with colleagues, c) Triangulation. Based on the results of this descriptive study it was found that the religious values ​​contained in the novel of the Split Moon in the American Sky include: Aqeedah (Faith) values ​​which include: Faith in God, Faith in angels, Faith in the Book, Faith in the Prophets and Apostles, Faith in the End Times, Faith in Qada 'and Qadar. Sharia values ​​(Worship) which include: reading the Qur'an, alms, and dhikr to Allah. Akhlaq values ​​(moral character) include: the value of patience, gratitude, and filial piety to parents. Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan nilai-nilai religius dalam novel Bulan Terbelah di Langit Amerika karya Hanum Salsabiela Rais dan Rangga Almahendra. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif dengan penelitian berupa penelitian kualitatif. Pendekatan yang digunakan, yaitu pendekatan strukturalisme genetik. Data dalam penelitian dalam novel ini adalah kutipan-kutipan berupa kata-kata maupun kalimat dalam novel Bulan Terbelah di Langit Amerika. Teknik pengumpulan datanya menggunakan studi dokumenter. Instrumen penelitiannya adalah adalah peneliti sendiri sebagai instrumen utama. Teknik pemeriksaan data diamati dengan: 1) Kecukupan referensi, b) Pemeriksaan dengan teman sejawat, c) Triangulasi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang bersifat deskriptif tersebut ditemukan bahwa nilai-nilai religius yang terdapat dalam novel Bulan Terbelah di Langit Amerika meliputi: Nilai Aqidah (Keimanan) yang meliputi: Iman kepada Allah, Iman kepada malaikat, Iman kepada Kitab, Iman kepada Nabi dan Rasul, Iman kepada kepada Hari Akhir, Iman kepada Qada’ dan Qadar. Nilai Syari’ah (Ibadah) yang meliputi : membaca Al- Qur’an, sedekah, dan berzikir kepada Allah. Nilai Akhlaq (Budi pekerti) meliputi: nilai sabar, bersyukur, dan berbakti kepada orang tua. Kata Kunci: Nilai Religius, Novel Bulan Terbelah di Langit Amerika
