Abstract

This paper is a case study entitled “Fund Management System of mobile Infaq and alm boxesin Pasar 45Manado”. This research was conducted using observationsin the area of Pasar45 Manado.Data were collected through observations and interviewswith the carriers of infaq boxes, the dwellers in Pasar45Manado, and people in charge of the infaq boxes management, as well as documentation. The approach used is juridical and sociological. This research aims (1) to understand the fund management system of theinfaqand almboxesspread around Pasar45, and the management by which collectors collect all of theinfaqand almboxes. Once the collectors collected the donation, they gave them to the mosque’s management who would divide the fund into two parts:40 percent for the collectors and the restis allocated for the construction of mosques and others. This research also seeks (2) to describe how people view the fund management system ofinfaq and alms boxes collected around Pasar45Manado. This research shows that most people seem to disfavor these alms and infaq collection due to the unstructured fund management. We need to understand that the infaq and alms boxes run by collectors every Friday to ask for a donation is a noble deed when the funds is channeled and addressed to the appropriate places orpeople or those who are in need. This action would certainly benefit the Muslim community.The funds will help to reduce poverty in Manado as well as in other areas. Yet sometimes the fund would not be donated entirely to the mosque but it goes to two divisions as previously mentioned

Abstract

Financing system used in gold pawn transactions in Indonesia are conventional and shar’i. Conventional system is employed only by pawnshops owned by the government, namely “Pegadaian”. Meanwhile,the sharia system is employed by sharia private banks, sharia business units, and sharia pawnshops. Gold mortgage finance at pawnshops is calculated based on the loan amount multiplied by interest multiplied the number of days. Meanwhile, gold mortgage finance at sharia pawnshops and sharia banks as well as Islamic business is calculated based on the estimated value (collateral/gold) multiplied by the interest multiplied by the number of days. The results obtained for the amount of financing (loans) is the same, but smaller nominal interest is obtained when it calculated using the Islamic system. However, the numberof shariadebtors is still very small compared to the conventional debtors.

Abstract

Islamic Law and Customary Law is part of the national legal system in addition to some other legal systems that also give meaning and role. But as a system and legal system, Islamic Law and Customary Law show a clear separation.Thus, both are standing alone and independent. The continuing development of both shows which of them can continue to exist and which of them is increasingly left behind or even reduced in terms of role.

Abstract

This study about shopping behavior changes from traditional markets to modern market in the  Manado city is viewed from the aspect of sociology. This study used a qualitative approach. The results showed that the shopping behavior of most citizens of Manado city has changed shopping habits in traditional markets into shopping habits in the modern market. Everyone in the economic measures based on efficiency considerations that revolve around efficiency of money and space also efficiency of time and energy. Before someone decides to shop, his views always consider the fourth aspect of it, and then decided to act. Thus the action is determined by the orientation to the person's environment that is tailored to the needs inherent in him. Then someone can act as he wishes. Most citizens of Manado city construct behavior of shopping habits in traditional markets into shopping habits in the modern market. The peoples leaving the characteristics of cooperation and confidence in social economy action trough activity in the traditional market began to fade, tend to behave consumerist, individualistic, laden competition, but innovation and creative. The pattern of this kind of action can be a collective action at the subjective macro level. This means that changes in individual behavior of Manado city residents at a certain level in line with the rapid development and progress of science and technology, will have implications on fundamental social changes in the structure of social behavior overall Manado city residents. Manado, will become a city inhabited by modern society with a consumption-oriented economic measures or commonly known as the consumerist society.
