Abstract

This paper departs from the government's appreciation of some of the success of boarding school education. The authenticity and uniqueness of the pesantren cottage in addition to the treasures of the nation's cultural tradition is also a pillar supporting force of education to bring up the leaders of a moral nation. It is this reality that demands the management of educational institutions according to the demands of the times. The kiai's charismatic leadership in pesantren tends to embrace a centralized management system, and the implications of educational reforms encourage the emergence of formal education institutions that embrace a decentralized management system. The dichotomy of the two management systems demands a strategic step by applying a new, solutive model of leadership. A solution of the leadership model by developing a democratic leadership, ie leadership that appreciates the potential, ideas and work of all parties, both kiai as the leader of the santri as a guided individual. This requires a re-orientation of the pesantren education management system. In short, the implementation of education management in boarding school needs to be re-orientation of the lofty ideals of boarding school. Reorientation of pesantren boarding school management that is urgent to undertake, among others: leadership management and, initial management. Nevertheless, this reorientation must still be grounded in the concept of "al-muhâfadzatu 'al-al-qadîmi al-shālih wa al-akhdu bi al-jadîdi al-ashlah" (preserving a good old culture, and engaging constructive and prospective new ideas)

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether there is a relationship between adolescent perception of the parent-teen communication with juvenile delinquency. These research subjects totaling 283 adolescents aged 15-18 years who attend school at SMK X Surabaya. Collecting data in this study using a survey method, consisting of a measuring tool adolescent perception of the parent-teenager communication as much as 34 eggs and juvenile delinquency measuring instrument consisting of 26 items compiled by the researcher. Analysis of the data used is non-parametric statistical techniques Spearman's Rho correlation test with SPSS 16 for windows. Results of analysis of experimental data showed the value of the variable correlation between adolescent perception of the parent-teenager communication with juvenile delinquency of -0.362 with probability value 0,000. This shows that there is a significant negative correlation between adolescent perception of the parent-teen communication with juvenile delinquency

Abstract

This study discusses how the form of harmony conducted by the people of Sumber Manggis Hamlet so that there is harmony between religious communities in commemoration of religious holidays. Researchers use qualitative research methods. Data collection techniques used interview method, participant observation, and documentation, then collected data were processed and analyzed using data reduction, presentation of data, and drawing and verification of conclusion. Objects of this study include village government, religious leaders, and community Sumber Manggis Village Barurejo District Siliragung Banyuwangi District. The results of this study note that the forms of harmony among religious people in the anniversary of religious celebrations in Sumber Manggis Hamlet include mutual visits (silaturahim), mutual respect and mutual respect for other religious followers.

Abstract

Mass media is one form of technological progress in the field of information and communication. The influence of mass media varies from each individual It also happens to students at boarding school Darussalam. The mass media is able to bring the students into new cultural patterns and begin to determine the mindset and behavior of santri. Therefore the role of mass media in positive influence is needed. This study focuses on whether the propagation content of the bulletin phenomenon affects the cognition of santri who read it. This research uses qualitative research methods. The population of this study is all the bulletin readers Phenomenon consisting of santri boarding school Darussalam. The data has been collected, tested its validity using triangulation technique method, source, and situation, then the data is analyzed. From the process of data analysis, it was found that the article Rubric contained propaganda in the bulletin Phenomenon affects the cognition of students who read it. Thus it can be concluded that the bulletin Phenomenon as one of the media information in Darussalam boarding school, affecting the cognition of the reader
