Abstract

This study aims to determine the perception/opinion of the community against the use of recycled ablution water. The study consisted of five stages: (1) identification of water use patterns, barriers to using recycled water, and factors that may interest respondents using recycled water; (2) Preparation of questionnaires based on identification results; (3) Distribution of questionnaires, interviews and socialization at Masjid and Pesantren Daarut Tauhid; (4) Distribution of questionnaires and interviews at Istiqlal Mosque; (5) Data analysis consisting of validation, reliability, and significance test with SPSS and descriptive analysis. There are 200 respondents who participated in this research. The highest average score of acceptance is 3.47 in the Moral obligation question group. It can be concluded that the community's acceptance of using recycled ablution water depends on a sense of moral responsibility to the environment; the greatest influence to accept the recycled ablution water comes from the family; even though respondents' effort to recycle ablution water is less than 50%, but the willingness to use recycled ablution water is high (89%); even the respondents are willing to use recycled ablution water, but the use is limited for specific activity such as watering the plants and the willingness of to use recycled ablution water for ablution is low (only 4.26%).

Abstract

English is one of the foreign languages ​​that must be taught in Indonesia including in the pesantren environment. But teaching English in pesantren is often less fun (using only classical methods or lectures only). As a result, their mastery of English is also not good. The vocabulary of the santri tends to be very limited. Therefore, this research aims to create English songs with "taste" of pesantren, in this case, create qasidah rhythmic English song (one genre of familiar music in pesantren) so that will be more easily accepted by students and leaders of boarding school. The method used to create the song is Hannafin and Peck Model. Based on the needs analysis, the process of design and development of songs, the following English learning qasidah songs are made with the theme: colours, family, numbers, sea animals, animals, occupations, places, colors, outer parts of body, inner parts of body, feelings, jewelry, things in the school, things in the bedroom, common expressions and seasons.

Abstract

This study describes the Sumenep Township built by the Somala Penitency having important theological values. The location of Kraton, Alun alun, Mosque and Asta Tinggi is a real manifestation of the pattern of relation Hablum Minal Allah Hablum Minannas, Hablum Minal Alam. By using Peter L Berger's Social Construction theory, it can be seen that the city of Sumenep is a concrete manifestation of the Sumenep Society's faces. Although located within the Section of Madura, but the Sumenep Society has a quite unique difference with other districts. Especially the culture of a society that has a high social harmony. Sumenep is lonely from social conflict. This is backed by his past as a trajectory of various world civilizations that enter through the port of Kalinget. Nevertheless, urban planning as an important symbol is supported by other actors involved in shaping the Sumenep society. The actors can be seen from the minds of people who know the submission in the relationship Bhepa 'Bhebu' Guruh Ratoh. The creations of the three submissions gave birth to "tengka", morals and character Sumenep typical. The value of harmony can be seen in the local language terejawantah in taretan dhibik, settong dhere, rampak naong banyan Korong and jung ojung lombung.

Abstract

The aim of this research was to investigate whether the male children could use Indonesian in reading well as the national language. This research could show the phenomena of language development in using national language. We conducted a qualitative study. We recorded 5 male students. We were recording them while they were reading the book which the title was ‘frog, where are you?’ by Mercer Mayer. This book only consisted of pictures without any texts. We focused on the students’ ability in producing simplex and complex clauses. The findings showed that the students were good at reading because the finding showed that four students from five students chose to use complex sentences
