Abstract

This research is motivated by the problem of students not being able to place precisely the conjunctions in writing compoundsentences, and students have not been able to make compound sentences according to subject criteria, prediction, objects,and information. The purpose of this study was to describe the ability of sixth grade students of SD Negeri 105 Pekanbaru towrite compound sentences. This research has been carried out in July 2018 which uses descriptive quantitative methods withresearch subjects consisting of 142 students. Data collection techniques use test techniques, by giving 10 questions of essayquestions as an instrument. The results of the ability to write compound sentences for grade VI students from 142 studentsshowed 47 students who were categorized as very capable with a percentage of 33.09%, 22 students who were able to get acategory with a percentage of 15.50%, 34 students got enough categories with percentages 23.94% and 39 students got theless category with a percentage of 27.46%. Overall, the sample of 142 students obtained an average score of 67.61 in thecategory of quite capable. This shows that the ability to write compound sentences for students in grade VI of SD Negeri 105Pekanbaru as a whole has been categorized as quite capable.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to improve the ability of teachers to implement PBM through academic supervision. The designof this study is qualitative research with the School Action Research approach. The results showed that the level of ability toimplement PBM of subject teachers increased significantly, in Cycle I the score was 66.8 (good criteria), Cycle II scored71.4 (good criteria), and Cycle III had an average value of 80 , 2 (criteria are very good). Based on the results of the study itcan be concluded that the teacher's ability to implement PBM through academic supervision has increased. Based onconclusions, suggestions were made for teachers to continue to improve their abilities with guidance from schoolsupervisors/ principals and to learn independently with the use of technology

Abstract

This research was motivated by the low learning motivation of the citizenship education students of the sixth grade studentsof SDN 029 Sungai Pinang Kabupaten Kampar. This study aims to improve the learning motivation of Pkn through theapplication of structured numbered head type cooperative learning models in the sixth grade students of SDN 029 SungaiPinang Kabupaten Kampar. The subjects of this study were all sixth grade students of SDN 029 Sungai Pinang KabupatenKampar, totaling 17 years 2016. The form of research was classroom action research. This research instrument consists ofperformance instruments and data collection instruments in the form of observation sheets of teacher activities and studentactivities. Based on the results of the research and discussion, the application of structured numbered head type learningmodel can improve the learning motivation of the sixth grade students of SDN 029 Sungai Pinang Kabupaten Kampar asseen in the learning motivation of students in the first cycle scored 50% in the low category while in the second cycle got 755% in the very high category In the first cycle this class action research has not been said to be successful while in thesecond cycle the research has succeeded with a success indicator of 75.5% exceeding the performance indicators that havebeen set

Abstract

This research was motivated by the low learning outcomes of MTK class VI students of SDN 024 Tarai Bangun KecamatanTambang Kabupaten Kampar. This study aims to improve student learning outcomes in mathematics learning throughmathematical investigation strategies in the sixth grade students of SDN 024 Tarai Bangun Kecamatan Tambang KabupatenKampar. The subjects of this study were all sixth grade students of SDN 024 Tarai Bangun Kecamatan Tambang KabupatenKampar, totaling 18 people, in 2017. The form of this research was classroom action research. This research instrumentconsists of performance instruments and data collection instruments in the form of observation sheets of teacher activitiesand student activities. Based on the results of the research and discussion, it can be concluded that the MathematicalInvestigation learning strategy can improve the mathematics learning outcomes of the sixth grade students of SDN 024 TaraiBangun Kecamatan Tambang Kabupaten Kampar in 2017. On the basic score, the results of learning were 7 people whoachieved KKM or 38, 89% with an average learning outcome of 63. In the first cycle of mathematics learning outcomesobtained by students is the number of students who achieve mastery in learning is 72.22%. The average student learningoutcomes classically in cycle I is 71 or 13 people who achieve KKM and categorized as incomplete. Whereas in the secondcycle there were 17 people who reached the KKM with a completeness percentage of 94.44%. The implementation of theaction in the second cycle is more smooth when compared to the implementation of the actions in the first cycle. It can beseen that there was an increase from the basic score to the first cycle as many as 6 people while from the first cycle to thesecond cycle there were 4 people who achieved the KKM completeness

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low learning motivation of grade II students of SDN 31 Batu Bulek. This study aims toimprove students' learning motivation in thematic learning with the theme of caring for animals and plants through learningtwo live two guests in class II SDN 31 Batu Bulek. The subjects of this study were all students of grade II SDN 31 Batu Bulek,amounting to 13 people in 2018. The form of research was classroom action research. This research instrument consists ofinstruments of performance and data collection instruments in the form of observation sheets of student activities and teacheractivities. Based on the results of the research and discussion, the application of the two learning models only two guests canincrease the learning motivation of class II SDN 31 Batu Bulek. For more details, it can be seen in the following description:The activity of teachers in the first cycle got a score of 19 in the perfect category while in the second cycle got a score of 23in the very perfect category Student activity in the first cycle got a score of 37 in the low category while in cycle II got a scoreof 56 with high category. Learning motivation of students in the first cycle got a score of 37 in the low category while in thesecond cycle got a score of 63 in the high category. In the first cycle it has not been said to be successful while in the secondcycle the research has succeeded with a success indicator of 80.8% exceeding the performance indicators that have been set.So that the research hypothesis that reads "With the application of the two learning models, only two guests can improvelearning motivation at thematic learning theme of caring for animals and plants class II SDN 31 Batu Bulekcan be accepted.

Abstract

The background of this study is the low teacher teaching skills in social studies subjects. To overcome this problemresearchers conduct research through the application of academic supervision. This research is a school action researchconducted at SD Negeri 038 Pulau Kijang. The subjects of this study were 10 teachers. The results of the study show thatteacher teaching skills have improved after the implementation of academic supervision. This can be seen in the pre-cycleteacher teaching skills included in the sufficient category with an average score of 56.02. In the first cycle the teacherteaching skills were included in the good category with an average score of 71.02. And in cycle II teacher teaching skills areincluded in the good category with an average score of 76.34. Based on this acquisition it can be concluded that teacherteaching skills in social studies subjects have increased after academic supervision has been applied.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low skill of listening to children's stories on Indonesian learning in class I students of SDN024 Tarai Bangun Kecamatan Tambang Kabupaten Kampar. This study aims to improve the listening skills of children'sstories in Indonesian language learning through the application of audio visual media to class I students of SDN 024 TaraiBangun Kecamatan Tambang Kabupaten Kampar. The subjects of this study were all students of class I SDN 024 TaraiBangun Kecamatan Tambang Kabupaten Kampar, totaling 30 people, in 2016. The form of research was classroom actionresearch. This research instrument consists of performance instruments and data collection instruments in the form ofobservation sheets of teacher activities and student activities. Based on the results of research and data analysis it can beconcluded that the use of audio visual media can improve the skills of listening to stories of children of class I students ofSDN 024 Tarai Bangun Kecamatan Tambang Kabupaten Kampar. This success is known from the average value of students'skills at the second meeting of the second cycle. Where in the initial data only obtained an average value of 62.8, at the 1stmeeting of the first cycle obtained an average of 67.8, at the 2nd meeting of the first cycle obtained an average of 72.7, at themeeting 1 cycle II obtained an average of 73.5, at the 2nd meeting of cycle II, it was obtained an average of 81.8, while thecompleteness was obtained by all students. This indicates that the audio visual media can improve the skill of listening to thestories of children of class I students of SDN 024 Tarai Bangun Kecamatan Tambang Kabupaten Kampar.

Abstract

This type of research is classroom action research. Subjects of the research were students of SMA Negeri 15 Pekanbaruconsisting of 34 students in class XII. The purpose of this study is to improve the low student learning outcomes becausestudent learning completeness was only 5.56% while the maximum exhaustiveness criteria provided from the school was 82.Efforts were made by changing the method used, namely from conventional to STAD method. The assessment was takenbefore the improvement of the implementation, namely pre-cycle with complete result is 2 students and incomplete one is 34students. This research was carried out in two cycles. The first cycle of the average value of 80.61 was the highest score of70, followed by the second cycle increasing to 87.11 the lowest score is 82 and the highest score is 95. The change of thescore of the pre-cycle with the number of 2660 increased in the first cycle to 2902, and this number in the second cycleincreased again to 31.36. the Assessment by using the range and criteria of the score in the precycle score lies in thesufficient criteria, the first cycle of the score range lies in the high score, and the second cycle the score lies in the highcriteria. The highest learning activities of cycle I in the tenacious aspect face difficulties and cycle II is diligently facing thegiven task. So the STAD method can increase motivation and learning outcomes of class XII students of SMA Negeri 15Pekanbaru.

Abstract

This study aims to improve the ability to read English comprehension of class VIII A students at SMPN 3 Teluk Kuantanthrough English-language comic media. This research is a classroom action research conducted by following John Elliot'smodel research procedure which includes planning, action, observation, reflection or evaluation. The study was conducted atSMPN 3 Teluk Kuantan in 2018-2019 academic year in odd semester for students of class VIII A, totaling 21 students. Theresults showed that before being given learning using English-language comic media, the average score of students' readingcomprehension was 57.38 (28.57 %) with less criteria. After reading comprehension learning using English language comicmedia the first cycle the average score of students' reading comprehension ability increased to 64.76 (57.14 %) whichincluded in the criteria sufficient, and learning is done in the second cycle students' reading comprehension ability has anincrease in the average value and a percentage of 75.23 (80.95 %) with good criteria.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to improve learning outcomes and activities of third grade students of SD Negeri 110 Pekanbarubecause the score was still below maximum exhaustiveness criteria that is determined above 70. This type of research isclassroom action research using a method of exchanging pairs in PKN subjects. The study was conducted in 2 cycles. Eachcycle consists of 2 activities. The outcomes of the first cycle about teacher activity is 12 which is criteria are not perfect, andactivity 2 (15 is quite perfect), the average score is 14 with a rating that is quite perfect. Cycle II, in activity one is 19 (veryperfect), the second meeting was 24, and the average number was 22 with very perfect criteria. Student activity at meeting 1was 93 (19 is low), activity 2 is 120 (24 criteria high) on average 107 criteria is high. Student activity in cycle II meetings forcycle 1 was 141 (28 with high criteria, 2nd cycle meeting rose to 169/34 and an average of 155 (31 with very high predicate.While learning outcomes in first cycle 1 93 (19) low criteria second meeting 120 (24) high criteria and an average of 107(21) high criteria, while the second cycle meeting 1 is 131 (28) high criteria, the second meeting 169 (34) was very high, sothe average cycle II is 155 (31) high.
