Abstract

The purpose of this study was to improve social studies learning outcomes of third-grade students of SDN 192 Pekanbaru by applying the take and give the type of cooperative learning model. This research is a classroom action research conducted in three cycles. The results of the study revealed that the score of teacher activity at the first meeting of the cycle I was 15 with a percentage of 62.59% (Enough), then increased by a score of 22 with a percentage of 91.67% (Very good) at the second meeting of cycle III. In addition, student activity also increased, at the first meeting of the cycle I with a score of 16 with a percentage of 66.67% (Enough), increasing with a score of 23 with a percentage of 95.83% (Very good) in the second meeting of cycle III. Furthermore, student learning outcomes increased from the basic score to the first cycle of 7.72% with the average student score being 72.32. In the second cycle, it increased 13.56% to 76.25. From the results of the study, it can be concluded that by applying the cooperative learning model type Take and Give can improve the learning outcomes of social studies in third-grade students of SDN 192 Pekanbaru

Abstract

This research aims to improve Indonesian language learning outcomes by using a problem solving learning model of class VI SDN 010 Talontam. Class action research is an effort to improve various kinds of learning problems in the classroom. Data analysis of teacher activities after the study is in the initial data of 52%, then the second meeting is 64%, the third meeting is 75%, and at the fourth meeting is 90%. Student activity data after research has increased at the first meeting only by 55%, at the second meeting at 67, at the third meeting at 73%, and at the IV meeting at 92%. Improved learning outcomes are obtained after a daily test, in UH I the average student learning outcomes are 75 and in UH II 89 is a significant increase. By looking at the data above that the application of an effective problem solving learning model to improve Indonesian learning outcomes in class VI SDN 010 Talontam District of Benai.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to improve student learning outcomes by applying the Type Three Stay One Stray (TSOS) Cooperative Learning Model. This research was conducted at 023 Public Primary School Pulau Kijang, Reteh District. This research is a classroom action research which consists of two cycles. Each cycle consists of action planning, action, observation and reflection. The results of the study show, seen from the initial data, students who completed as many as 6 people with a class average of 65. In the first cycle, there was an increase of an average of 71.3 and in the second cycle there was an increase with a class average of 86.4. Then there is an overall increase from the basic score to the second cycle of 21.4. while the number of students who completed in the first cycle were 9 people with a percentage of 64.2%, in the second cycle as many as 12 people with a percentage of 85.7%. the increase in the percentage of completeness from the basic score to the second cycle was 42.9%.

Abstract

The problem behind this research is the low learning outcomes of science in fifth grade students of SDN 010 Talontam, Benai sub-district. This study aims to improve the learning system and improve science learning outcomes by applying mind mapping learning models. . Class action research is an effort to improve various kinds of learning problems in the classroom. Data analysis of teacher activity after the study is in the initial data of 60%, then the second meeting is 70.6%, the third meeting is 84%, and at the fourth meeting is 90%. Student activity data after research has increased at the first meeting only by 56%, at the second meeting amounting to 64.5, at the third meeting at 81%, and at the IV meeting at 85%. Improvement of learning outcomes is obtained after a daily test, in UH I the average student learning outcomes are 73 and in UH II 87 is a significant increase. By looking at the data above that the application of mind mapping learning models is effective for improving Indonesian learning outcomes in fifth grade students of SDN 010 Talontam.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the results of learning science in fourth-grade elementary school students who are still low. The purpose of this study was to improve the learning outcomes of science by applying the cooperative pair type think pair share (TPS) model. The results showed, seen from the basic score, students who completed 11 people with a percentage of 47.82%, while students who did not complete 12 people with a percentage of 52.17%. cycle I, students who completed 17 people with a percentage of 73.91% while students who did not complete 6 people with a percentage of 26.08%. cycle II, students who completed 20 people with a percentage of 86.95% while the incomplete 3 people with a percentage of 13.04%. From the results of the study, it can be concluded that by applying the cooperative learning model the think pair share (TPS) type can improve science learning outcomes of grade IV students of SD Negeri 004 Seberang Teluk Hilir Kecamatan Kuantan Tengah, Kabupaten Kuantan Singingi.

Abstract

Efforts to improve science learning outcomes through the application of cooperative learning model type STAD grade 4 students SDN 015 Geringging Jaya Kuantan Singingi Regency. Lesson Year 2014/2015 is based on many students who can not understand the learning materials. The purpose of this study is to determine the improvement of learning outcomes of learners through the application of STAD type cooperative learning modes in natural science classes grade IV SDN 015 Geringging Jaya in the even semester. This study is a class action carried out by teachers who teach in the classroom. The data collected is teacher's teacher's and student activity data which is divided into two cycles. Each cycle has four stages: planning, action, observation and reflection. The subjects of this study were the fourth graders of SDN 015 Gringginga Jaya which consisted of 16 students consisting of 9 male students and 6 female students. The results showed that the application of STAD type learning module can improve student learning outcomes of fourth grade students of SDN 015 Geringging Jaya with total number of students who completed in pre cycle as many as 5 students, cycle I with 6 students and cycle II 16 students.

Abstract

This research is a classroom action research. Using the Jigsaw Method to improve the activities and Learning Outcomes XII IPS (Social science) Students of SMA 10 Pekanbaru. The porpuse of this research is to improve activities and learning outcomes conducted in two cycles. Before conducting the learning process a test is administered, namely the cycle of total scores (2390); cycle I (2885), and cycle II (3070). For the average pre-cycle score was 68.29, the first cycle increased to 78.92, and the second cycle increased to 87.71. The results obtained based on criterion of Minimal Completness 80. The score of completeness in the complete pre-cycle is only 8 students (22.86%), not complete was 27 students (77.14%). In the first cycle there were 24 students who got complete score (68.57%, and 11 students who got uncompleted score (31.43%). In the second cycle there were 34 students who got complete score (97.14%) and uncomplete score was 2.86%. The score based on the range is the highest with 85 and the lowest one with 45; the first cycle with the highest 95 and the lowest based on the range and criterion score, on the cycle the percentage is 31,43% (enough); the first cycle was very high with 37.14 % and the second cycle was very high at 51.43%. For student activities each cycle increased, namely cycle 1reached to 71.43 and cycle II reached to 85.71.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the number of students who have difficulty in working on mathematical story problems. Students' difficulties in working on the problem indicate that there are errors in the teaching and learning process so that improvements are needed. This study aims to determine student errors that often occur in working on mathematical story problems based on Newman's type. The method used in this research is quantitative descriptive. This research was carried out in several schools included in cluster 1 of the MarpoyanDamai District in Pekanbaru. The sample in this study amounted to 74 people. Based on the results of the study, the most frequent errors made by students in working on mathematical story problems were transformation errors with a percentage of 22%, followed by 15% answer error, 14% error understanding, and 13% process skill errors. If the total number of student errors is totaled, which is 65%, this number is included in the category of very high errors because the percentage is> 55%.

Abstract

This research is based on the low learning outcomes of Citizenship Education for fourth grade students of State Primary School 010, Pulau Aro, Kuantan Tengah Subdistrict, Kuantan Singingi Regency, from 12 students only 5 (41.66%) who achieved the minimum completeness criteria determined by the school at 70 with an average score amounting to 65.4. The research aims to improve the learning outcomes of Citizenship Education through the application of problem based intruction models. The results of the study show, during the learning process before using the problem-based learning model, the average score was 65.4 with incomplete categories and after using the learning model based on the average problem of student learning outcomes in the first cycle to 79.7 with complete categories while in the cycle II has increased again to 87.6 with complete categories. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that through the application of problem-based learning models (Problem Based Intruction) can improve Student Grade 4 Citizenship Education Learning Outcomes Primary School 010, Pulau Aro, Kuantan Tengah Subdistrict, Kuantan Singingi Regency.

Abstract

Learning to read in primary school is divided into two, namely beginning reading and reading comprehension. This reading skill needs to be applied when the child is still as early as possible because reading is the main basis for students. But there are some obstacles in reading skills, such as lack of reference to the stages of reading, lack of teacher guidance to summarize the contents of the reading, and lack of enthusiasm of students in learning to read. This research is a classroom action research which consists of two cycles. Each cycle consists of action planning, action, observation and reflection. The subject of this research was students of class VI of the State primery school 023 Kijang Island, Reteh District, which amounted to 11 people. This study aims to improve students' reading skills which are rooted in the strategy of think, predict, read, connect (TPRC). The results of this study indicate, the initial data of students on reading skills amounted to 59.7 in the medium category, in the first cycle, the average value of students' reading skills increased to 76.03 in the high category. while in cycle II, the average value of students' reading skills again increased to 88.9 in very high categories. The increase in the average value seen from the basic score to the second cycle is 29.2 points. These results prove that the application of the TPRC strategy can improve reading skills of students in class VI 023 public primary school kijang island, reteh district.
