Abstract

Fruit drop potentially decreases the yield of durian, so it needs to be controlled. Its control canbe done better when information on pattern of fruit drop is available. This research examined fruit dropof different panicle positions of two durian varieties. Observed panicle positions i.e. bottom, central,and upper of a tree, observed varieties i.e. Kani, Monthong. Observed variables were percentage offlowery branch, number of flower panicle, total number of flowers, number of flowers per panicle, andfruit set. The objective of this research was to know the pattern of fruit drop and flowering of differentpanicle positions of two varieties of durian. The result of research showed that Kani had higher observedvariables than Monthong. Upper position of panicle had higher number of flower panicles and fruit setscompared to the other panicle positions. The highest total number of flowers was showed by panicle atupper position of Kani treeKey words: durian, panicle, fruit drop, Kani, Monthong ABSTRAKKerontokan buah berpotensi mengurangi hasil buah durian sehingga perlu dikendalikan.Pengendaliannyadapat dilakukan dengan baik apabila terlebih dulu diketahui pola kerontokan buahnya.Penelitian ini mengkajikerontokan buah pada dompol yang berbeda posisinya pada suatu pohon dari dua varietas durian. Posisi dompolyang diteliti yaitu bawah, tengah, dan atas pada suatu pohon, sedangkan varietas yang diteliti adalah Kani danMonthong. Variabel yang diamati meliputi persentase cabang berbunga, jumlah dompol bunga, jumlah bunga total,jumlah bunga per dompol, dan jumlah buah terbentuk.Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui pola kerontokanbuah dan pembungaandari dompol yang berada pada posisi berbeda dua varietas durian. Hasil penelitianmenunjukkan bahwa Kani menghasilkan variabel pengamatan yang lebih tinggi dibandingkan Monthong.Dompolyang berada padaposisi atas dari suatu pohon menghasilkan jumlah dompol bunga dan jumlah buah terbentuk yanglebih tinggi dibandingkan posisi dompol lainnya. Jumlah bunga total tertinggi ditunjukkan oleh dompol yangberada pada posisi atas varietas Kani.Kata kunci: durian, dompol, kerontokan buah, Kani, Monthong

Abstract

The objectives of this study were to know growth response and tolerance level of corn on application ofextract weeds. The study was conducted in Green House and chemical laboratory of Department of Agronomy,Center for Empowering Teachers and Education Personnel Cianjur, West Java in September to December 2012.A split plot design consists of two factors of weeds extracts as main plot viz. no weed extract, and weeds extract ofAmaranthus sp, Ageratum conyzoides, Imperata cylindrica and, corn variety as sub plot viz. Sukmaraga, Bhima,and Local. Variables observed were seed germination (%), germination rate (number of seedling/day), total rootlenght (cm), hypocotil lenght (cm), root number, leaf number, leaf area (cm2), seedling fresh and dry weights (g).Imperata cylindrica and Amaranthus sp extracts mostly suppresed on the number of roots, number of leaves anddry weight of corn. Weeds extract decreased seed germination by more than 25% on all corn varieties.Key words: Corn, Amaranthus sp, Ageratum conyzoides, Imperata cylindrical, weed extract. ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui respons pertumbuhan dan tingkat toleransi jagung terhadapaplikasi ekstrak gulma. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Green House dan laboratorium kimia Departemen AgronomiPusat Pengembangan Pemberdayaan Pendidik dan Tenaga Kependidikan Cianjur, Jawa Barat pada bulanSeptember-Desember 2012, menggunakan rancangan petak terbagi (Split Plot Design) terdiri atas dua factor, yaitupetak utama ektrak gulma terdiri atas tanpa ekstrak gulma, ekstrak Amaranthus sp (bayam duri), ekstrak Ageratumconyzoides (babandotan), dan ekstrak Imperata cylindrica (alang-alang) dan anak petak varietas jagung antara lainSukmaraga, Bhima, dan Lokal. Variabel yang diamati antara lain daya kecambah (%), laju perkecambahan (jumlahkecambah/hari), total panjang akar (cm), panjang hipokotil (cm), jumlah akar, jumlah daun, luas daun (cm2), bobotbasah dan kering bibit (g). Ekstrak gulma Imperata cylindrica dan Amaranthus sp. menyebabkan hambatan palingmenekan pada jumlah akar, jumlah daun dan bobot kering bibit jagung. Pemberian ekstrak gulma menyebabkandaya kecambah semua varietas jagung menurun lebih dari 25%.Kata kunci: Jagung, Amaranthus sp, Ageratum conyzoides, Imperata cylindrica, ekstrak gulma.

Abstract

Yied and agronomic characters performance of ten superior rice varieties in Sleman, Yogyakarta. Study onyied and agronomic characters performance usin superior rice varieties was conducted at Blendangan,Tegaltirto,Berbah, Sleman, Yogyakarta from June to September of 2015. Six superior rice varieties namely Sidenuk, Inpari1, Inpari 10, Inpari 19, Inpari 23, and Inpari 30 were planted using seedling of 15 days with one seedling per hillin jajar legowo 4:1 system, with plant spacing of 25 x 12,5 x 50 cm. Plot size per variety was 1000 m2.Meanwhile,four populair varieties such as Sintanur, Pepe, Ciherang, and Situ Bagendit planted using the same populationby farmers were used as checks. Data were analyzed using t test. Inpari 19 and Inpari 30 gave the highest yield of7.5 and 7.3 t/ha, respectively, compared with check varieties and the other varieties tested. The highest yield onInpari 19 and Inpari 30 were contributed by the highest of the number of filled grains, total grain number, andthe panicle number. Inpari 19 showed earliest maturity (104 days), meanwhile, the other varieties were mediummaturity (107-124 days). Inpari 19 gave the highest profit compared with the others superior varieties tested andthe most preferred by farmers because of more taste, more white color, more shiny, and more fragrant.Key words: yield, agronomic characters, Inpari, “jajar legowo” ABSTRAKPenampilan hasil dan karakter agronomi sepuluh varietas unggul di Sleman, Yogyakarta. Pengkajianterhadap penampilan hasil dan karakter agronomi menggunakan varietas unggul padi dilaksanakan diBlendangan,Tegaltirto, Berbah, Sleman, Yogyakarta dari Juni hingga September 2015. Enam varietas yaituSidenuk, Inpari 1, Inpari 10, Inpari 19, Inpari 23, dan Inpari 30 ditanam dengan bibit berumur 15 hari dengan satubibit per lubang pada teknik jajar legowo 4:1, dengan jarak tanam 25 x 12,5 x 50 cm. Ukuran plot size per varietasadalah 1000 m2. Sedangkan empat varietas yang sudah dikenal petani yaitu Sintanur, Pepe, Ciherang, dan SituBagendit ditanam dengan cara yang sama oleh petani digunakan sebagai pembanding. Data dianalisismenggunakan uji t. Inpari 19 dan Inpari 30 masing-masing memberi hasil tertinggi sebesar 7,5 dan 7,3 t/ha,dibandinkan dengan varietas pembanding dan varietas lain yang dikaji. Hasil tertinggi pada Inpari 19 dan Inpari30 dikontribusi oleh jumlah gabah isi, jumlah total gabah dan jumlah malai yang tinggi. Inpari 19 menunjukkanumur paling cepat (genjah) yaitu 104 hari, sementara varietas lainnya berumur sedang (107-124 hari). Inpari 19memberi keuntungan tertinggi dibandingkan dengan varietas unggul lainnya, dan paling disukai petani karenalebih pulen, lebih putih, lebih berkilap, dan lebih wangi.Kata kunci: hasil, karakter agronomi, Inpari, “jajar legowo”

Abstract

This research was aimed to initially test 40 rainfed lowland dedicated GSR lines along with 3 checks, i.e.PSBRC68, Situbagendit, and Silugonggo. The trial was conducted in ICRR experimental station in Sukamandiwith irrigation only until 2 weeks after transplanting and during flowering. The trial was conducted during DS2012 following Randomized Complete Block Design of three replication in 1 m x 1 m plot size and planting spaceof 20 cm x 20 cm. Transplanting was conducted to 21 days old seedings. The results showed that identified fiveline that have higher yields than the best check Silugonggo ( 4.22 t/ha ), which Luyin 46 ( 5.18 t/ha ), 926 ( 5.12t/ha ), SACG - 7 ( 4.46 t/ha ), LH1 ( 4.36 t/ha ) and Weed Tolerant Rice ( 4.30 t/ha ). A total of three lines , namelyZX788 ( 84 HSS ), 08FAN4 ( 89 HSS ) and D100 ( 91 HSS ) has a ripe age is significantly more early maturity ofthe check is very early maturing Silugonggo ( 95 HSS ). GSR lines tested had similar agronomic characters withexisting varieties, among others, from 46.67 to 100.2 cm plant height, number of productive tiller 6-10 fruit,flowering age 56-86 HSS, or physiological maturity round 84 -102 HSS, filled grain 47-185 grains per panicle,1000 grain weight 17.94 to 32.34 g, and the results ranged from 0.95 to 5.18 t/ha.Key words: GSR, rainfed lowland, agronomic performance, yield ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji awal daya adaptasi 40 galur GSR untuk padi sawah tadah hujan(GSR-Rainfed Lowland/GSR-RFLL) yang diintroduksi dari IRRI sebagai salah satu set pengujian dalam INGER(International Network for Rice Genetic Evaluation) beserta 3 varietas cek, yaitu PSBRC68, Situbagendit, danSilugonggo. Pengujian dilakukan pada kondisi sawah irigasi di Kebun Percobaan BB Padi di Sukamandi, namundengan perlakuan kering fase vegetatif, yaitu pengairan diberikan hingga dua minggu setelah tanam dan pada saattanaman berbunga, sebagai simulasi kondisi kering di lahan tadah hujan. Penelitian dilakukan pada MK 2012menggunakan rancangan acak kelompok tiga ulangan pada plot berukuran 1 m x 1 m dan jarak tanam 20 cm x 20cm. Tanam pindah dilaksanakan pada saat bibit berumur 21 HSS. Hasil pengujian mengidentifikasi lima galuryang memiliki daya hasil lebih tinggi daripada cek terbaik Silugonggo (4,22 t/ha), yaitu Luyin 46 (5,18 t/ha), 926(5,12 t/ha), SACG-7 (4,46 t/ha), LH1 (4,36 t/ha) dan Weed Tolerant Rice (4,30 t/ha). Sebanyak tiga galur, yaituZX788 (84 HSS), 08FAN4 (89 HSS) dan D100 (91 HSS) memiliki umur masak yang secara nyata lebih genjahdari cek sangat genjah Silugonggo (95 HSS). Abstract

Fusarium whitere disesase or moler is a major disesase on shallot that is caused by Fusarium oxypsporumf. Sp. Cepae (Foc), it is spread soil mushroom kind and generally sistemacally hence it’s dificult controled byfungicid. Suffer caused by this moler disesase can reache 50% moreover can cause failed fiver. For that reasonit needs the use of varietes endurance of moler disesase and high productivity. Endurance induction is one of themethods to get shallot cultivar endure fusarium whietere disease. Endurance induction can be done in vitro withthe inducing agent is chemist matter likes salisilic acid. For knowing the respon of salisilyc acid in inducing theindurance is done by using fusarat acid as selector matter to get endurance planlet. This research is done torecogize the respon of bud Bima cultivar shallot of Brebes in vitro againts the effectity of salisilyc acid of vareitesof concentration (0 ppm, 2.5 ppm, and 7.5 ppm) in inducing endurance then it’s done selection to get endurancecharacter of disease by exogen salisilyc acid able to impove shallot planlet endurance that is showen by descentintensities of fusarium attact, descending planlet endurance status form susceptibe become moderate. The bestconcentration of salisilyc acid in inducing onion planlet endurance is 5 ppm and 7.5 ppm.Key words: induction of endurance, salsilyc acid, fusarat acid, shallot.

Abstract

National corn demand continues to increase every year, either for food, feed and industrial raw materials.To meet this requirement forced to do import corn because the results at the farm level is still low. One is notapplying technological innovation and resource integrated crop management (ICM). Then in an effort to increasecorn production as well need to use the local probiotic microbes allow. This study aims to determine the extent towhich the results of applying maize crop management and integrated resource ( ICM - maize) equipped with LocalProbiotic Microbial fertilizer. The assessment was conducted in the village Cicurug, Majalengka Subdistricts,District Majalengka. The study used a Randomized Block Design Complete (RCBD), four treatments with sixreplications. For the treatment of local administration of probiotic microbes, the dose of 3 l ha-1 Agri Simba, thedose of 3 l ha-1 Agri Simba + 1.500 g of urea, the dose of 6 l ha-1 Agri Simba, and a dose of 6 l ha-1 Agri Simba +3.000 g of urea. The results of the study showed that administration of probiotic microbes local (Agri Simba) hassignificant effect on growth, yield components and yield of hybrid maize varieties P-21. Yield dried shelled beanshighest achieved by the provision of local probiotic microba in the dose 6 l ha-1 + 3.000 g Agri Simba urea was12.20 t ha-1. The results obtained at the lowest dose of 3 l ha-1 Agri Simba around 8.73 t ha-1. Component resultssupport the results of the P-21 hybrid maize is a heavy cob, number of rows per ear and weight of 100 grains .Key words: Maize, Local Probiotic Microba ABSTRAKKebutuhan jagung nasional terus meningkat setiap tahun, baik untuk pangan, pakan maupun bahan bakuindustri. Untuk memenuhi kebutuhan ini terpaksa melakukan impor jagung karena hasil di tingkat petani masihrendah. Salah satu penyebanya adalah belum optimal penerapan inovasi teknologi pengelolaan tanaman dansumberdaya terpadu (PTT). Dalam upaya peningkatan produksi jagung diperlukan juga penggunaan mikrobaprobiotik lokal. Pengkajian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui sejauh mana hasil jagung yang menerapkanpengelolaan tanaman dan sumberdaya terpadu (PTT-jagung) yang dilengkapi dengan pemberian pupuk MikrobaProbiaik Lokal. Pengkajian iji dilaksanakan di desa Cicurug, kecamatan Majalengka, kabupaten Majalengka padaMK II. Kajian ini menggunakan rancangan acak kelompok (RAK), empat perlakuan dengan enam ulangan.Sebagai perlakuan pemberian mikroba probiotik lokal yaitu, takaran 3 l/ha Agri Simba, takaran 3 l/ha Agri Simba+ 1.500 g Urea, takaran 6 l/ha Agri Simba, dan takaran 6 l/ha Agri Simba + 3.000 g Urea. Hasil kajian menunjukkanbahwa pemberian mikroba probiotik lokal (Agri Simba) berpengaruh nyata pada pertumbuhan, komponen hasildan hasil jagung varietas hibrida P-21.Hasil pipilan biji kering tertinggi dicapai oleh pemberian mikroba probiotiklokal pada takaran 6 l/ha Agri Simba + 3.000 g Urea sebesar 12,20 t/ha. Hasil terendah diperoleh pada takaran 3l/ha Agri Simba sekitar 8,73 t/ha.Kata kunci : Jagung, Mikroba Probiotik Lokal

Abstract

The purpose of research is to figure out the strategy most effective business partnerships that can bedeveloped at the Village Unit Cooperatives (VUC) Musuk with PT. So Good Food, in Boyolali. The initial stepsare: (1) Identify internal and external factors partnerships between cooperatives Musuk system with PT. So GoodFood, then (2) to analyze SWOT strategic business partnerships between cooperatives Musuk with PT. SGF. Theanalytical tool used in this study consisted of External Factor Evaluation (EFE Matrix), Internal FactorEvaluation (IFE Matrix), Internal External Matrix (Matrix IE), SWOT matrix, and QSP matrix. SWOT matrix todevelop several alternative strategies between cooperatives Musuk partnership with PT. SGF, is to maximize thebenefits and opportunities, and minimize the weaknesses and threats. QSP matrix is used to determine the priorityof the strategy, by evaluating and selecting the best strategy in accordance with the internal and externalenvironment. IFE matrix analysis results showed a total score of 3.178 indicates that the partnership is the stronginternal position. EFE matrix analysis results showed a total score of 3.073 indicates that the partnership thatexists between VUC Musuk with PT. SGF has a good response to the opportunities that exist. QSPM calculationresults show the value of 6.761 means that the priority of the strategy adopted for the implementation of VUCMusuk partnership with PT. SGF is to maintain the commitment and loyalty of farmers by fulfilling the basic needsof dairy farming and attractive price incentives so that the most effective partnership strategy is expected to beestablished partnership sustainable and mutually beneficial.Key words: business partnership, VUC Musuk, PT. So Good Food, SWOT analysis ABSTRAKTujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui strategi kemitraan yang paling efektif antara Koperasi UnitDesa (KUD) Musuk dengan PT. So Good Food, di Kabupaten Boyolali. Langkah awal yang dilakukan adalah (1)Mengidentifikasi faktor internal dan eksternal sistem kemitraan antara KUD Musuk dengan PT. So Good Food,kemudian (2) Menganalisis SWOT strategi kemitraan usaha antara KUD Musuk dengan PT. SGF. Alat analisisyang digunakan dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari Eksternal Factor Evaluation (Matrik EFE), Internal FactorEvaluation (Matrik IFE), Matrik Internal Eksternal (Matrik IE), Matrik SWOT, dan Matriks QSP. Matrik SWOTuntuk menentukan beberapa alternatif strategi kemitraan antara KUD Musuk dengan PT. SGF, yaitu denganmemaksimalkan keunggulan dan peluang, dan meminimalkan kelemahan dan ancaman. Matriks QSP digunakanuntuk menentukan prioritas strategi, yaitu dengan mengevaluasi dan memilih strategi terbaik yang paling efektifyang sesuai dengan lingkungan internal dan eksternal. Hasil analisis matriks IFE menunjukkan total skor 3,178mengindikasikan bahwa kemitraan tersebut berada pada posisi internal yang kuat. Hasil analisis matriks EFEmenunjukkan total skor 3,073 mengindikasikan bahwa kemitraan yang terjalin antara KUD Musuk dengan PT.SGF mempunyai respon yang bagus terhadap peluang yang ada. Hasil perhitungan QSPMmenunjukkan nilai 6,761ini berarti bahwa prioritas strategi yang diterapkan untuk melaksanakan kemitraan antara KUD Musuk dengan PT.SGF adalah dengan menjaga komitmen dan loyalitas peternak melalui pemenuhan kebutuhan dasar budidaya sapiperah dan insentif harga yang menarik. sehingga dengan strategi kemitraan yang paling efektif tersebut diharapkandapat terjalin kerjasama kemitraan yang berkelanjutan dan saling menguntungkan.Kata kunci: kemitraan usaha, KUD Musuk, PT. Abstract

The aim of this research is to know the influence of the flour soursop seed of the controlling pestCallosobruchus analis at the soursop seed. This research has been implemented experimentally, consists of twophases. The first is to know the effectivity of the flour soursop seed against mortallity of the beetle C. analis. andthe laying of eggs, while the second phases is to know the influence of the flour soursop seed against the influenceof the beetle population C. analis. This research has used RAL/CRD/ Completely Randomized Design with onetreatment factor that is : the dosege of the flour soursop seed,consiste of A) the flour soursop seed, dosege 1,50g/100g ; B) the flour soursop seed, dosage 1,00 g/100 g ; C) the flour soursop seed, dosage 0,50 g/ 100 g; O)Control/without treatment. Every tretment is repeated five time. The observation of the parameter is : mortalityand development of the beetle C. analis, the percentageof the seed damage and the decrease of the seed heavy.The result of this research indicated that; the flour soursop seed influenced for the mortality and devolepment C.analis at the soy bean seed; the flour soursop seed can reduce for damage and the decrease of the seed heavyagainst attacking C. analis. The effective dosage of the flour soursop seed for controlling the beetls C. analis, isnot founded yet. From the result of this research, can be concluded that the flour soursop seed by dosage 1,50 g/100 g seed can influence for increasing mortality and decreasing the expansion of the beetle powder C. analis atthe say been seed and can reducing the damage and the decreasing the soy bean seed heavy because of theattacking the powder of beetle C. analis at storaging, the effective dosage of the flour soursop seed for controllingthe beetle C. analis is not founded yet.Keywords: the flour soursop seed (Annona muricata), the powder of beatle Callosobruchus analis F. ABSTRAKPenelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh tepung biji sirsak terhadap pengendalian hamaCallosobruchus analis pada biji kedelai. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan secara eksperimen, yang terdiri dari dua tahap,tahap pertama adalah mengetahui efektifitas tepung biji sirsak terhadap mortalitas kumbang C. analis danpeletakan telur sedangkan tahap kedua mengetahui pengaruh tepung biji sirsak terhadap perkembangan populasikumbang C. analis. Penelitian menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL/CRD) dengan 1 faktor perlakuanyairu dosis tepung biji sirsak. Adapun dosis perlakuan adalah dosis tepung biji sirsak yang terdiri dari (A) Tepungbiji sirsak , dosis 1,50 g / 100 g; (B) Tepung biji sirsak, dosis 1,00 g / 100 g; (C) Tepung biji sirsak , dosis 0,50 g/ 100 g; (O) Kontrol / Tanpa Perlakuan. Tiap Perlakuan diulang lima kali. Parameter pengamatan adalah ;mortalitas dan perkembangan kumbang C. analis, persentase kerusakan biji dan penyusutan bobot biji. Hasilpenelitian menunjukkan bahwa tepung biji sirsak berpengaruh terhadap mortalitas dan perkembangan C. analispada biji kedelai ; tepung biji sirsak dapat mengurangi terhadap kerusakan dan penyusutan bobot biji kedelaiterhadap serangan C. analis; belum didapat dosis tepung biji sirsak yang efektif untuk mengendalikan kumbangC.analis. Dari hasil penelitian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa tepung biji sirsak dengan dosis 1,50 g / 100 g biji dapatberpengaruh terhadap peningkatan mortalitas dan penurunan perkembangan kumbang bubuk Callosobruchusanalis F. pada biji kedelai serta dapat mengurangi kerusakan dan penyusutan bobot biji kedelai akibat serangankumbang bubuk Callosobruchus analis F. di penyimpanan, namun belum didapat dosis tepung biji sirsak yangefektif untuk mengendalikan kumbang C. analis F.Kata kunci: Tepung biji sirsak (Annona muricata), Kumbang bubuk Callosobruchus analis F.
