Abstract

This study aims to determine the direction of empirical about the influence of leverage level on company performance. By using sample of companies engaged in food and beverages listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during 2011-2013. Data were analyzed by using multiple regression technique. Secondary data is obtained from Indonesi Capital Market Directory (ICMD) and annual reporting company taken samples for three years, issued by BEI. Two variables were used in this research to analyze leverage level: Debt Ratio (DR) and Debt to Equity Ratio (DER), and Return on Equity (ROE) to analyze company performance. The results of this study indicate that the use of debt affects the performance of the company, so the company should consider the level of leverage

Abstract

Corporate governance remains a major problem during the post-financial crisis period in the growing Asian markets like Indonesia. In particular, financial institutions have adopted corporate governance reforms to improve the protection of the interests of shareholders and stakeholders. Emerged as a consequence allows for greater monitoring, especially by shareholders. The purpose of this study was to measure the corporate governance andperformance in the banking sector which specifically determine a mechanism of corporate governance.Independent variables used in this study is the ownership structure that consists of the ownership of the controlling shareholders, foreign ownership, government ownership, board size, the size of the board of commissioners; independent commissioner; CAR and the external auditors the Big 4. Samples from this study is the general banking company located in Indonesia are listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) in the period 2006-2008.This research data come from bank annual reports (annual report) in the period 2006-2008 obtained from the Indonesian Stock Exchange website, the Indonesian Banking Directory, Indonesian Capital Market Directory (ICMD). The analytical method used is multiple linear regression in accordance with the purpose of research which analyzes the influence of independent variables on the dependent variable. Purposive sampling method used to determine the sample selection. From this method, obtained 22 samples of commercial banks.The study shows that direct ownership Monitoring Mechanism relationship is notsignificant to the banking performance. Second, the Internal Control Monitoring Mechanism addressing the significant negative relationship to performance is only one size of banking except that directed the board of directors is a positive but not significant. Third, the Monitoring Mechanism Regulator through and reserve requirements or capital adequacy ratio (CAR) showed significant and positive relationship to performance of the banking system. Fourth

Abstract

This research generally aims to highlight the existence of the cooperative. One sector of the Indonesian nation's economic strength, which has a rapidly growing need special attention in the implementation of its operations. Force to be dealing directly with the public so as to understand laments faced by these communities as a form of the impingement kebutuhanya provide a portion of its own in penangananya. The impact of movements performed resulted in a wide range of issues that have to be borne, but if this kind is not to be taken seriously, then the pillars of the nation's economic strength will partially collapse. One of the problems faced, is the capital of cooperatives is not smooth, it caused some communities to meet tanggunganya, namely to pay for the debts borrowed does not work properly, it can be said on the level of profitability of the cooperative will be disrupted. It can be explained that influence the behavior of a benchmark as well as the educational background. Abstract

The objective of this research was to find out the infuence of variable of product quality, price, service quality, emotional factor, cost and ease towards simultaneously and partially influenced the customer satisfaction of customer at Toko Kosmetik Candra. The population in this research was all customers of Toko Kosmetik Candra and the samples were 100 customers with the technique sampling was convenience sampling method. The analysis tool used was multiple linear regression. The results of simultaneous analysis (F test) indicated that the variables of product quality (X1), price (X2), service quality (X3), emotional factor (X4), cost and ease towards (X5) had significant influence to customer satisfaction at Toko Kosmetik Candra with significance rate 0,000. Meanwhile, the partial analysis (t-test) showed that the variable of product quality (X1) had significant influence to customer satisfaction, price (X2) had significant influence to customer satisfaction, service quality (X3) had significant influence to customer satisfaction, emotional factor (X4) had significant influence to customer satisfaction, cost and ease towards (X5) had significant influence to customer satisfaction.

Abstract

Competition between traditional and modern retail retail most invites attention, because it always puts the traditional retail in a weak position. Characteristics are inversely proportional to the difference weakens the position of traditional retail. Unclear regulations on the retail industry, especially regarding the distance of retail locations, adding a heavy effort to protect traditional retail.The scope of retail competition includes traditional and modern retail factors both internal and external factors, which include all the attributes in the performance aspects, aspects of consumer preferences and regulatory aspects. Aspects of consumer preferences include human resource (related to the services provided), merchandise, price and location.Strategy traditional retail competition with modern retail can be done through the application of model win–win development strategy, which is of mutual benefit or synergy.

Abstract

The study deals with the effect of work motivation and teachers’ professional competence on the learning process of state Junior High Schools of Semarang. The problems under study are (1) to what extent is the effect of work motivation on the learning process of State junior High Schools of Semarang, (2) to what extent is the effect of teachers’ professional competenceon the learning process of State Junior Hihg Schools of Semarang, and (3) to what extent is the effect of both work motivation and teachers’ professional competence on the learning process of State Junior High Schools of Semarang.The study adopts a multiple regression analysis. The analysis is used to examine the extent of the effect of work motivation as the independent variable on the learning process as the dependent variable, the extent of the effect of teachers’ professional competence as the independent variable on the learning process of the State Junior High Schools of Semarang, and the extent of the effect of both work motivation and teachers’ professional competence as the independent variables on the learning process as the dependent variable. The sampleconsisted of 206 respondents selected by the use of a proportional stratified random sampling technique and the data were collected by the use of questionnaires.The results of the study show that work motivation significantly affected the learning process of State Junior High Schools of Semarang, indicated by the t-test result of 4.571 which is higher that t-table of 1.660 and had the effect of 31.7%. The teachers’ professional competence significantly affected the learning process of State Junior High Schools of Semarang, indicated by the t-test result of 2.040 which is higher that t-table of 1.660 and had the effect of 28.4%. In addition, both work motivation and teachers’ professional competencesimultaneously and significantly affected the learning process of State Junior High Schools of Semarang, indicated by the F-test result of 12.343 which is higher that the F-table of 3.09 and had the effect of 60.1%.Based on the significant effect of each variable, the teachers of State Junior High Schools of Semarang are suggested to improve their work motivation and professional competence to be able to improve the quality of the teaching-learning process.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the market competition in the retail business, which grew very rapidly minimarket. This study aims to determine the effect of service performance and relationship marketing on customer loyalty where experiential marketing as a variable that strengthen loyalty konsumen.Secara particular, the study aims to provide a solution to increase the number of consumers amid increasingly fierce competition minimarket.The variables in this study consisted of four variables: service performance and relationship marketing becomes the independent variable while loyalty becomes the dependent variable. Then experiential marketing as a moderating variable. Research data collection techniques by spreading the questionnaire on consumer minimarket in city Semarang systematically arranged with multiple choice answers are easy to understand. The distribution of questionnaires carried out in the period from April to July 2016 with a sample of some 130 people. Then the data collected through a questionnaire to test the validity and reliability. Hypothesis testing using multiple regression analysis. To obtain regression results BLUES (best linear Unbiased estimated), previously performed classical assumption. Testing the level of moderation in moderation regression analysis (Moderated Regression Analisys/MRA).The results showed that the service performance affect positively and significantly related to loyalty, relationship marketing influence positively and significantly related to loyalty, service performance affects the stronger the loyalty when driven by experiential marketing, relationship marketing effect is getting stronger loyalty when driven by experiential marketing

Manage the class can success if worked by professional teacher. Professional teacher to own competency manage the class that to shape some skill. Professional teacher have to be able respond mutation in the society includes manage the class. The case at the public school like as teacher at SD Kristen YSKI Semarang.Problem in the research formulated to become tree point is how much big (1) Influence work motivation to the competency manage the class, (2) Influence climate organization to the competency manage the class, and (3) influence work motivation and climate organization to the competency manage the class by teacher SD Kristen YSKI Semarang.The subject of research is teacher SD Kristen YSKI Semarang to the number of 104 peoples. The Sample of research to fix to the number 55 respondents, the Variable of research is competency manage the class, motivation teacher work, and climate organization school. The model to collect data used questioner is to the test validity and reliability. Analysis data used analysis double regression.Test hypothesis used test F.Proceeds of research founded influence that significant at : (1) work motivation teacher to the competency manage the class by teacher SD Kristen YSKI Semarang with coefficient correlation partial 0,471 (22,18%); (2) climate organization to the competency manage the class teacher SDKristen YSKI Semarang with coefficient correlation partial 0,293 (8,58%); (3) work motivation teacher and climate organization to the competency manage the class by teacher SD Kristen YSKI Semarang with coefficient correlation double as 0,596 (35,5%).Based on this proceed of research, management SD Kristen YSKI Semarang preferably (1) Increase work motivation for teacher and staff. The case can do with give to appreciation for teacher which performance, opportunity to propagate potency, bonus concordant capability, (2) to watch and to advance climate organization. The case can reach with to advance to be able manager,trust, to build up communication, coordination with teacher and staff to make decision, to grow felling useful, responsibility, give bonus fairly.

Abstract

In order to reach the organization’s objectives efficiently and effectively, high employee’s performance is needed by the organization. Timeliness or job discipline and communication are factors that influence on employee’s performance. Communication as a complex’pattern, and it’s relationship with human social life community. Individual relationship which is information interchange or the other informal communication was rarely happen, because lack of rellationship and different domicile. The other communication borders was found even any problems’ happen and need own management’s decision to optimalize the function of willingness, complain and employee’s aspiration, motivate the level of discipline, increase of comfortable communication and job satisfaction.

Abstract

The objective of this research is to examine factors that influencing income smoothing practice in manufacturing companies listed at Indonesian Stock Exchange (IDX). The factors being examined were size, profitability, financial leverage, net profit margin and variance of stock value. Eckel’s Index (1981) was used to determine the incidence of income smoothingpractice with net profit after tax as the object of income smoothing.The sample of this research selected by purposive judgement sampling. The samples were 49 manufacturing companies listed at IDX for five years period (2002-2006). Multivariate test (logistic regression) were used to identify the factors affecting the income smoothing practice.The result of Eckel’s Index (1981) showed that income smoothing is practiced bymanufacturing companies listed at IDX. The multivariate test showed that size, profitability, financial leverage, net profit margin and variance of stock value, simultaneously and partial test not having a significance influence on income smoothing practice. In conclusion, from five independen variables being examined, there are’nt affecting the income smoothing practice.
