Abstract

The strategic role of Cooperatives and Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in the midst of a national economic life, a fact that can not be denied any longer. The strategic role is primarily related to the amount, distribution and potential. In addition to being the life expectancy for most people of Indonesia, KUKM also capable of absorbing high enough jobs. The problem that arises is the need for internal control in a company. SAK ETAP expected use of small, medium, able to prepare its financial statements to obtain funds for business development. To achieve these objectives, the required system, particularly in securing wealth, maintain accuracy and to what extent the reliability of accounting data in the cooperative.The research method is done by collecting data used questionnaire method. The questionnaire was given to the cooperative supervisors each, totaling 91 supervisors of cooperatives in all cooperatives in the city of Semarang. Data were analyzed using SPSS.Results of this research are: 1) There is a positive and significant influence between the independence of the internal control supervisors, so that if the independence of the supervisory increase the cooperative's internal control will also increasingly baik. 2) There is a positive and significant influence between the competence of the internal control, so that when supervisory competence increases, the internal control co-operatives will also be baik. 3) There is no influence of the scope of work on internal control. The level of complexity of the scope of the labor inspectors are not always followed by the low height of the internal control cooperatives. 4) There is a positive and significant influence between accounting information system of internal control, so that when the accounting information system of internal control, the better the cooperative will also be better

Abstract

Amount of sales PT. Anugrah Pharmindo Lestari Semarang from 2001 till 2007  showed no positive trend. That between the realization of sales every year and target couldn’t be achieved. So the managers needs to know  variable related to marketing for getting increasing of sales volume. Marketing activity not only activities to selling goods and services to consumers but also activities to know what the consumers wants.This research has been implemented on February 2008. There were 98 agents of PT. Anugrah Pharmindo Lestari in central java  are chosen as the object of the research.  Data analysis carried out by spread of the questioner to the object of research.            The research hypothesis were tested by using  classical assumption, multiple regression, T-test, F-test and also coefficient of determination (R2). The result of this research show that Price, Promotion, and brand in simultaneous having significantly affected to sales

Abstract

Collage are required to prepare in order to be college ready to compete with other universities. Factors which later played a role in achieving this is the quality of human resources. One of the quality of human resources is to have a good performance. Therefore, it needs good human resource management. Human existence as human resources is very important in the organization because of human resources to support organizations exist through the work, talent, creativity, encouragement and role as real as can be seen in every organization. Abstract

The purpose of this study was to obtain empirical evidence about the impact of corporate governance and ownership structure on financial performance. Corporate governance is measured by two variables are independent commisioner board and audit committee while the ownership structure is measured by two variables of institutional ownership and managerial ownership.This study population is the entire banking companies that are not state-owned enterprises listed on the Stock Exchange during the period 2008 to 2010. Data obtained from the company’s annual financial statements in the period 2008 to 2010. By using purposive sampling, observational data obtained up to 65 observation data. Testing the hypothesis using multiple regression analysis.The results showed that an independent commisioner board and audit committee that affect financial performance.

Abstract

The contribution given by sectors of trade especially pedagang kaki lima (packed meal sellers) in economic activity and citizens’ prosperous (especially citizens’ from weak economic segment) in Rembang, ca be found within the coastal area society, that is fishermen society. The fact shows that Local Government. With the considerations to nature condition and its potentials, the maintenance of packed meal sellers’ activity, has to be the environmental concepts. Therefore,the existence of packed meal sellers might be grown to be a productive and environmentally – concepted sector.

Abstract

The aim of research is for knowing which factors influence the customer’s loyalty of Lalapan Belut Sawah Mas Gembul In Madiun and for knowing which factor being dominant in influencing the customer’s loyalty of Lalapan Belut Sawah Mas Gembul in Madiun. This research used the nonprobability sampling, by using the criteria that customer ever bought the product the restaurant twice or more, then the technic used accidental sampling and used questionnaire such as the data resourse of the collecting date process. The questionnaire got from 100 respondents of Lalapan Belut Sawah Mas Gembul  in Madiun. The result of questionnaire analysed by using factor analysis method in software SPSS 17.0. Included 21 questions. And it’s result got 6 factors which influence of customer loyalty of Lalapan Belut Sawah Mas Gembul in Madiun, such as 1). Service quality, 2). Reachable price, 3). Tangible and customer satisfaction, 4). The cleaness, 5). Product quality ,6). Price. And the dominant factor in this research is service quality by variance 40,342%. The presentasion of comulatif variance about  70,328 which these result be able to explain the factors which influence the customer’s loyalty and another ones influenced by another factors.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to investigate and get empirical evidence about auditor big four and auditor industry specialist in the earning management limit by the firms audited for IPO firms. The information asymmetry is participate IPO policy disposed action from management is opportunistic characteristic to execute manipulate performance with earning management. Management want to get high accountability about finance performance from audited result good auditor. Auditor want to work with professional for good performanceto keep reputation. Audit quality from auditors good reputation will more guarantee about accountability finance performance firms is audited.The Object of this research is Indonesia IPO firms. The method of data collection is purposive sampling method and resulted 37 firms observation. Regression linier is used to analysis data and develop the theory model.The result indicates that auditor big four and auditor industry specialist do not evidence can limit earning management for firms is audited when IPO firms.

Abstract

Selection of a media campaign with television ads can doing as appropriate to the means of communication that could form the name for a product by displaying sound, color and movement. Product advertising messages are expected to show the superiority of the product, persuading and directing consumers in the purchase action in accordance with company objectives in order to increase sales and profits. Promotion with advertising on television coupled with the frequency of how often your ads and ad duration may be longer shown on television, it was ensured the success of the product concerned for sale to the public is increasingly getting bigger.The population used is STIE SEMARANG student who had done or buy a soft drink after seeing the ads on soft drinks. Data obtained from 60 students STIE SEMARANG both management or accounting courses sample. The results of hypothesis testing either partially or simultaneously shows the results of analysis that they all support the hypothesis H.1 until H.4 proposed that the effectiveness of advertising through television media in terms of advertising forms (X1), the content of the ad (X2) and the frequency or duration of advertisements ( X3) partially and simultaneously significant effect on purchasing decisions (Y) soft drinks for students STIE SEMARANG. Abstract

The purpose of most major companies according to the theory of the firm is to maximize the value of company.Company can increase the prosperity of the owner or the shareholders by increasing the value of the company, both internally and externally. This study aims to determine the effect of corporate governance, profitability, dividend policy, and research and development intensity on firm value.The sample of this study is manufacturing companies listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange during the period 2009-2011. With purposive sampling method to obtain 10 companies that meet the criteria, resulting in 30 observations. Data were analyzed using analysis Ordinary least Square.The results of the study draws conclusions that simultaneous (Test - F) All independent variables (corporate governance, profitability, dividend policy, and R & D intensity affects the dependent variable (firm value) . Partial (t-test) there are four variables that affect the value of company board size is variable (sig 0.000) , Independent board (sig 0.039) , Profitability (sig 0.048) , dividend policy (sig 0.020). Two other variables that do not affect the value of the company is Board intensity (sig 0.022) and R & D intensity (sig 0.077).
