Abstract

The background of this research is more and more consumers are turning to shop at the minimarket from the market tradisional. This indicates the tendency of consumers who see that the minimarket is more suitable to by needs. The Research aims to determine the effect of the service and location where Visual Merchandising as a variable can strengthen specific purchasing decisions konsumen. This study aims to provide a solution to increase the number of consumers amid increasingly fierce competition minimarket. The results showed that service quality has a positive and significant impact on purchasing decisions, location positive and significant influence on purchasing decisions, quality of service is getting stronger influence on purchase decisions when driven by the Visual Merchandising, Location stronger influence on purchase decisions when driven by the Visual merchandising.

Abstract

This research is to investigate wether internal and external factores, and learning approach effected to undergraduate’s study on accounting program, especially on accounting’s core of study. The population in this research is undergraduate accounting program in Universitas Islam Negeri Suska Riau. At the purposive sampling technique base, then 43 sampels can be used. The result shows that internal factors and external factor did not effetctstudy achievement. This is due to the lack of “will” from the student itself for learning and lack of motivation from external factor. Thus, learning approach factor effected to study achievement of the undergraduate student.

Abstract

This study has objective, first, to investigate how koperasi simpan pinjam in Kotamadia Semarang make its business planning with CostVolumeProfit(CVP) information and realization on budget last year information. Second, to observe the effect of CVP and realization of budget last year information with business planning efectivity in koperasi simpan pinjam KotamadiaSemarang. Sample in this study are 13 kospin that have been listed in Dinas Koperasi Usaha Kecil Menengah Kota Semarang until April 2007. The statistical method used in this study is multiple linier regresion. Quesioner is used to data collecting.The deskriptif result show that kospin Kotamadia Semarang, in majority have enough category in business planning, CVP and realization of budget last year information. Statistical result show that CVP information have significant effect to business planning efectivity. Realization of budget last year information have positif significant effect to business planning efectivity. With simultan test, CVP and realization of budget last year information effect to business planning efectivity.

Abstract

The development of tourism in an area brings the impact of benefits to society economically and socially and culturally. Rembang Regency has many attractions including attractions Dampo Awang Beach. It takes a proper strategy in influencing tourists interest to the attractions of Dampo Awang Beach. This research is a qualitative descriptive study that conducts assessment on alternative strategy of planning and development of Dampo Awang Beach attraction based on internal and external factor analysis. Population in this research is visitor of Dampo Awang Beach tourism object with research method with SWOT analysis approach. The results of this study are internal and external factors affect the level of visits on the attraction of Dampo Awang Beach is very large. SWOT analysis is a planning and development strategy that can be applied to the attractions of Dampo Awang Beach

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to observe whether there is different perception between senior students and junior students regarding accounting profession at Regular Program and Transfer Program. The hypothesis is tested using Mann Whitney test. The result of this research shows that at Regular Program, the senior students’ perception towards “accountant as a Profession and accounting as a Science” is lower than the junior students’ perception.At Transfer Program, the senior students’ perception towards “accountant as a Profession” is higher than the junior students’ perception. The research shows that the more senior they are (the longer they join the accounting education), the more they do not like accounting and do not want to have a career as an accountant.

Abstract

This research aims on knowing the effect of giving Entrepreneurship courses in raising students’ interest to be entrepreneurs, by comparing between students’, who have already taken entrepreneurship course, interest and students’, who haven’t taken entrepreneurship course yet, interest using double regression test. We took 30 samples each from 2nd semester student, 4th semester student and 6th semester student. The result that we found is that there is effect of giving Entrepreneurship course in students’ interest to be entrepreneur, however it is low since each group’s result got Adjusted R2 less than 0.2. For 2nd semester student, even though they haven’t received Entrepreneurship course until they reach later year, they had ever received the subject when they were in high school. As for 4th semester student, they tend to like jobs which can give them regularly stable income guarantee (becoming employees). From this result, we can get information that the teaching method for Entrepreneurship course has to be accompanied by direct practice on the field so that the student can get clearer explanation about how to start a business (do entrepreneurship).

Abstract

With the purpose ro increase the productivity, all elements that support the productivity have to be concerned; they are wage and supervision. The produktivity improvement being disposed on management maintenance. Management runs its programs while at the same, this tries to carry ona well relation between the employer.The result of this study shows that the variables of wage and supervision, have influence toward the employees’ productivity on PT. Tonga Tiur Putra kragan. The calculation of Anova test using a multiple regreasion, shows that the value for F count as 227.033, and value for F table as 0.9946.For the F count > F table, with the probability level much lower than 0.05, this can be concluded that, together, both wage and supervision have their influences toword the employees’ producity. The SPSS shows the value for R2 as 0.05, and this means that 87,1& of producivity variatioan, might be explained from the variation of both two independent variables; wage and supervision. While the rest (100% 87,1% = 12,9) can be explaint from other causes beyond both two variables. The calculation result as seen from the table shows that SR X1 and SR X2 for wage as 0,62674 and for supervation as 99,37352. These results support that supervision has more influence towardemployees’ productivity.

Abstract

This research is aimed to examine the influence of corporate social responsibility (CSR) of stock return (using CAR as a proxy) on the company’s environmentally sensitive category and does not follow the PRPPER from 2008-2009. Analysis of CSR in this research are based on environment and social parameters. It also uses PBV and DER as control variables.The samples which are use in this research are 68 annual report of companies listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange in the 2008-2009. Samples are obtained by using purposive sampling method. Hypothesis testing method used is multiple regression analysis.The result showed only partially CSR (social) variables, which has positive influence on stock return. While CSR variables (environment) variables did not affect the stock return. The result simultaneously with control variables indicate that the variables of CSR (environment) and CSR (social) positive effect on stock return.

Abstract

This research is aimed for investigating the influence of Characteristic of Management Accounting System (MAS) and Decentralization on Managerial Performance at Manufacturing Company in Kabupaten Semarang. Data was gathered from 68 respondents that were chosen using purposive sampling. This research employed regression technique to analyze the obtained data. This research showed that Characteristic of Management Accounting System(MAS) positively influence on Managerial Performance; Decentralization is not influence on Managerial Performance; and then the relationship between Characteristic of Management Accounting System (MAS) and Decentralization is not influence on Managerial Performance.Number Coefficient Determination (Adjusted R Square) equal to 0,812. Matter this means that Characteristic of MAS variable (X1) and Variable Characteristic MAS and Decentralization as Variable Moderating (X1.X2) to Managerial Performance (Y) have contributed to 81,20% in explaining Managerial Performance (Y). While other factors which have an effect on toManagerial Performance have its contribution equal to 18,80%.

Abstract

Potential is the chance or the ability possessing. In this term, the tax contribution from kinds of taxes, one of them is parking retribution to increase the Local gain. Retribution is a citizen’s dues given to state with direct services given as the compensation. Local Gain (Pendapatan Asli Daerah) is a local acceptance of revenue obtained from its own sources, as this has been arranged in locallaws under the state’s regulation. Retribution gained from parking area in Rembang Regency is one of the Local gain, which is maintained by the Local gain Department (Dipenda) of Rembang Regency. This Local Gain can be significantly potential when its maintenance is held in both intensification and extentification.
