Abstract

Kata kunci : diabetes self care, kontrol glikemik dan score PEDIS Abstract  Correlation Between Diabetes Self Care Score PEDIS and Glycemic Control in Diabetes Mellitus. Diabetes selfcare (DSC) is an integrated part in diabetes management. The aim of this study was to analyze the correlation between DSC with PEDIS (perfusion, extend, depth, infection, sensation) score and glycemic control in diabetes patients. This study applied a cross sectional design, involving 106 patients, the inclusions are patient diabetes type 1 and 2 with or without diabetic foot ulcers who are < 65 years old, can read, write and use Bahasa. This research was conducted in the Community Health Center of West Denpasar II Bali. The statistic analyze used are Mann Whitney, and Chi square Statistics showed a significant association between DSC and PEDIS score (p= 0.0005) a strong correlation (r= -0.74) and glycemic control (p= 0.0005) a moderate correlation (0.451). DSC can be used predict the condition of diabetic foot ulcers through the PEDIS score and predict glycemic control in diabetes. In Orem’s self care theory, self-care is a health resource in individual. The strategy of diabetes self care requires awareness and responsibility in managing diabetes for controlling blood sugar and adequate foot care. Abstract

Kata Kunci: ambulasi dini, coronary artery bypass grafting, mobilisasi dini, rehabilitasi jantung fase I Abstract Cardiac rehabilitation phase I in patient undergoing coronary artery bypass grafting surgery. A patient undergoing coronary artery bypass grafting CABG surgery has a risk of post operative complication, which can cause prolonged length of stay and even mortality. The patient necessarily needs to do intervention cardiac rehabilitation phase I to help the recovery process after surgery and prevent post operative complications. The articles related to cardiac rehabilitation have been carried out. However, it is necessary to review research articles about the effective and safe intervention of cardiac rehabilitation phase I for patients undergoing CABG surgery. The aim of this study was to explore the effective and safe intervention of cardiac rehabilitation phase I. This literature review was conducted by analyzing articles including randomized control trial until retrospective design which published between 2008 to 2018 with English language articles. Data was searched through Google Scholar, PubMed, DOAJ, and Proquest. The keyword was early ambulation, coronary artery bypass grafting, preoperative education, physical exercise, early mobilization, and cardiac rehabilitation phase I or inpatient cardiac rehabilitation. The finding in this literature review was 13 articles corresponding with the inclusion and exclusion criteria. The result of this study found that the intervention in cardiac rehabilitation phase I in patient who undergoing coronary artery bypass grafting surgery was started from preoperative and continued postoperative phases until the patient will leave the hospital. Interventions in cardiac rehabilitation phase I consisted of education and counseling, physical exercise/ activity, breathing exercises, effective cough exercises, inspiratory muscle training, chest physiotherapy, and respiratory muscle stretch gymnastics. Abstract

Depression and HIV-related stigma, among other factors, have been inversely linked independently with adherence to antiretroviral therapy (ART) among the youth. However, the processes through which the various factors influence this relationship is not fully known. Guided by Social Action Theory, we examined the interactive mechanisms through which depression, HIV-related stigma, and self-efficacy influenced ART adherence and whether or not these relationships are moderated by gender. A total of 450 HIV-positive youth (13–24 years) in Malawi receiving ART participated in this cross-sectional study. Moderated mediation analyses were conducted using Hayes’ PROCESS macro 2.11 in SPSS. ART adherence was measured by pill count. Findings showed that self-efficacy mediated the effects of depression and stigma on ART adherence. The analyses also revealed that gender moderated both the direct and indirect influence of depression and stigma (via self-efficacy) on ART adherence. Furthermore, self-efficacy simultaneously mediated and moderated the relationship between stigma and ART adherence. The interactive mechanisms through which various factors influence ART nonadherence must be considered to design effective interventions. To reduce the impact of depression and stigma on ART adherence, medication self-efficacy should be bolstered while taking gender in consideration. Keywords: Adolescent, Antiretroviral adherence, Malawi, Moderated mediation, Social action theory, Youth Abstrak Pengaruh Efikasi Diri Terhadap Hubungan antara Depresi dan Stigma HIV dengan Kepatuhan Terapi ART pada Remaja di Malawi.
