Abstract

ABSTRAKLatar Belakang: Diabetes self-care merupakan perilaku perawatan diri pasien diabetes yang meliputi pengaturan diet, penggunaan insulin, olahraga dan perawatan kaki. Diabetes self-care memiliki efek langsung pada kontrol glikemik dalam terjadinya ulkus kaki diabetic. Skor PEDIS merupakan form pemeriksaan yang digunakan perawat dalam menilai keparahan ulkus kaki. Keterbatasan intervensi ulkus kaki yang diberikan oleh perawat saat ini disebabkan oleh terbatasnya data tentang self-care pada pasien diabetes. Tujuan penelitian mengetahui self-care pasien diabetes dengan komplikasi ulkus kaki menggunakan metode pengukuran skor PEDIS yang teridiri dari pemeriksaan perfusi, luas luka, kedalaman luka, keberadaan infeksi dan sensasi kaki.Metode: Penelitian ini termasuk penelitian kuantitatif, dimana penentuan responden menggunakan teknik Convenience sampling dengan jumlah sampel adalah 125, analisa data yang digunakan dengan metode  deskriptif.Hasil: Pada penelitian ini 53,8 % reponden memiliki diabetes self-care yang adekuat dan rata- rata responden memiliki Skor PEDIS 2,08.Kesimpulan: dalam penelitian ini sebagian besar responden memiliki diabetes self-care yang tidak adekuat.  Nilai Diabetes self-care dapat digunakan oleh perawat untuk mengetahui tingkat kualitas perawatan diri pasien selama ini sehingga memudahkan dalam menentukan intervensi yang tepat untuk mencegah terajadinya perburukan ulkus kaki. Kata kunci: diabetes mellitus tipe 2, diabetes self-care, dan ulkus kaki diabetik. ABSTRACTBackground: Diabetes self-care is a diabetes patient self-care behavior that includes diet management, insulin use, exercise and foot care. The limitations of the foot ulcer intervention given by nurses at this time are due to limited data on self-care in diabetic patients. The aim of this study was to determine the self-care of diabetic patients with complications of foot ulcers using the PEDIS score measurement method which consists of examination of perfusion, wound area, wound depth, presence of infection and foot sensation.Methods: This research is a quantitative study, where the determination of the respondents using the convenience sampling technique with a sample size of 125, the data analysis used is the descriptive method.Results: In this study 53.8% of respondents had adequate diabetes self-care and the mean of respondents had a PEDIS score of 2.08. Conclusion: in this study most of the respondents had inadequate self-care diabetes. The value of diabetes self-care can be used by nurses to determine the level of quality of patient self-care so far, making it easier to determine the right intervention to prevent worsening of foot ulcers. Keywords: type 2 diabetes mellitus, diabetes self-care, and diabetic foot ulcers.

Abstract

Diabetes Self Care (DSC) merupakan bagian dari pengelolaan diabetes. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menganalisis hubungan DSC dengan score PEDIS (perfusion, extend, depth, infection, sensation) dan kontrol glikemik pasien Diabetes Melitus (DM). Penelitian ini merupakan cross sectional study yang melibatkan 106 pasien, dengan kriteria inklusi pasien  DM tipe 1 dan 2 dengan atau tanpa ulkus kaki yang berumur <65tahun, dapat membaca, menulis dan berkomunikasi menggunakan bahasa Indonesia dengan baik. Penelitian dilakukan di Pusat Pelayanan Kesehatan Masyarakat Denpasar Barat II Bali Uji statistik yang digunakan adalah Mann Whitney dan Chi square. Statistik menunjukkan ada hubungan bermakna antara DSC dengan score PEDIS (p= 0,0005) dengan korelasi kuat (r= -0,74) dan kontrol glikemik (p= 0,0005) dengan korelasi sedang (0,45). DSC dapat digunakan untuk memprediksi kondisi kaki pasien diabetes melalui hasil score PEDIS dan dapat digunakan untuk memprediksi kontrol glikemik pasien diabetes. Menurut teori self care Orem, perawatan diri dipandang sebagai sumber daya kesehatan dalam individu. Strategi diabetes self care membutuhkan kesadaran dan tanggung jawab dalam mengelola diabetes untuk pengontrolan gula darah dan perawatan kaki yang adekuat. Kegiatan ini seharusnya dapat diarahkan tenaga keperawatan dengan cara pemberian informasi mengenai pengetahuan terkait penyakit diabetes dan perilaku pencegahan komplikasi. Kata kunci : diabetes self care, kontrol glikemik dan score PEDIS Abstract  Correlation Between Diabetes Self Care Score PEDIS and Glycemic Control in Diabetes Mellitus. Diabetes selfcare (DSC) is an integrated part in diabetes management. The aim of this study was to analyze the correlation between DSC with PEDIS (perfusion, extend, depth, infection, sensation) score and glycemic control in diabetes patients. This study applied a cross sectional design, involving 106 patients, the inclusions are patient diabetes type 1 and 2 with or without diabetic foot ulcers who are < 65 years old, can read, write and use Bahasa. This research was conducted in the Community Health Center of West Denpasar II Bali. The statistic analyze used are Mann Whitney, and Chi square Statistics showed a significant association between DSC and PEDIS score (p= 0.0005) a strong correlation (r= -0.74) and glycemic control (p= 0.0005) a moderate correlation (0.451). DSC can be used predict the condition of diabetic foot ulcers through the PEDIS score and predict glycemic control in diabetes. In Orem’s self care theory, self-care is a health resource in individual. The strategy of diabetes self care requires awareness and responsibility in managing diabetes for controlling blood sugar and adequate foot care. Abstract

Pada masa pandemi Covid-19 saat ini, kelompok lanjut usia merupakan kelompok yang paling berisiko mengalami morbiditas dan mortalitas. Hal yang dapat dilakukan untuk menjaga dan meningkatkan sistem kekebalan tubuh di masa pandemi adalah dengan melakukan aktivitas fisik. Tujuan : penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran aktivitas fisik lansia di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas I Denpasar Barat pada masa pandemi Covid-19. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan deskriptif kuantitatif dengan pendekatan cross-sectional menggunakan kuesioner. Sampel yang digunakan berjumlah 109 responden yang dipilih dengan menggunakan teknik simple random sampling. Hasil Dari 109 responden, mayoritas berusia 60 tahun (12,8%), sebagian besar tidak bekerja sebanyak 47,7%, berjenis kelamin perempuan sebanyak 52,3% dan menikah sebanyak 78,9%. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar aktivitas fisik lansia di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas I Denpasar Barat pada Masa Pandemi Covid-19 berada pada kategori cukup yaitu sebanyak 53,2%. Aktivitas fisik ringan lansia berada pada kategori baik sebanyak 82,5%, aktivitas fisik sedang berada pada kategori cukup sebanyak 50,4% dan aktivitas fisik berat berada pada kategori rendah sebanyak 35,3%. Kesimpulan Lansia dapat meningkatkan aktivitas fisiknya dengan mempertahankan kegiatan senam lansia di Puskesmas I Denpasar Barat. Kegiatan senam lansia dapat tetap dijalankan dengan mematuhi protokol kesehatan serta membagi waktu dan jumlah kedatangan lansia yang datang untuk mengikuti senam. Abstract

Abstrak Latar Belakang: Burnout adalah suatu proses psikologis yang di bawa oleh stress pekerjaan yang menghasilkan kelelahan emosi, perubahan kepribadian, dan perasaan penurunan pencapaian. Kepatuhan penata anestesi sangat diperlukan dalam melaksanakan pendokumentasian dan pelaporan pelayanan anestesi. Tujuan: Menggali tingkat burnout dan kepatuhan penata anestesi dalam pengisian formulir laporan anestesi di Ruang Instalasi Bedah Sentral RSUD Karangasem. Metode: Penelitian dilakukan pada bulan April 2022 dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan wawancara mendalam (deep interview) tingkat burnout dan kepatuhan, serta dilakukan penilaian observasi secara langsung pengisian formulir laporan anestesi. Partisipan dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 3 orang penata anestesi. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil: Hasil penelitian ini didapatkan bahwa pada burnout, dimensi kelelahan emosional partisipan cenderung mengalami kelelahan emosional ringan. Dimensi depersonalisasi partisipan cenderung mengalami depersonalisasi pada kategori tinggi. Dimensi penurunan prestasi diri menunjukkan kategori rendah. Pada pengisian formulir assesmen pre anestesi, tidak terisi item riwayat pemakaian obat, riwayat operasi dan riwayat kebiasaan hidup. Pada monitoring intra anestesi tidak terisi item lama pembiusan dan lama pembedahan. Pada evaluasi pasca anestesi terisi lengkap kondisi pasien sebelum dipindahkan ke ruang rawat inap. Kesimpulan: Secara keseluruhan, tingkat burnout penata anestesi termasuk dalam kategori sedang. Kepatuhan dalam pengisian formulir laporan anestesi termasuk dalam kategori patuh. Kata Kunci: Burnout, Kepatuhan, dan Formulir Laporan Anestesi Abstract Background: Burnout is a psychological process brought by stress at work that results in emotional fatigue, personality changes, and feelings of decreased achievement. Anesthetist compliance is necessary to carry out the documentation and reporting of anesthesia care. Purpose: To determine the burnout level and compliance in filling out the anesthesia report form among anesthesia at Karangasem Hospital. Method: The research was conducted in April 2022 with qualitative approach. The data were collected through in-depth interviews burnout level and compliance, as well as direct observation assessments by filling out the anesthesia report form. There were 3 participants recruited in this study. Data were analyzed qualitative descriptive. Result: The finding of this study showed that in burnout, participants experienced mild emotional exhaustion in the dimensions of emotional exhaustion. Participants tend to experienced high of depersonalized in depersonalization dimension. The dimension of decreasing self-achievement showed the low category. In filling out the pre-anesthesia assessment form, the items of drug use history, surgery history and life habits were not filled in. In intra-anesthesia monitoring, the items for duration of anesthesia and surgery were not filled in. In the post-anesthesia evaluation, the condition of the patient was filled in completely before being transferred to the inpatient room. Conclusion: In general, the burnout rate of the anesthetists is in the moderate category. Compliance in filling out the anesthesia report form in the compliance category. Abstract

This study aims to determine the antihyperglycemic potential of Gotu kola leaf extract (Centella asiatica (L.) Urban as an alternative herbal drink in diabetic male white mice. This study was divided into four stages: extracting Gotu kola leaves using 96% ethanol as solvent, phytochemical screening, and testing antihyperglycemic activity. Male white mice were made diabetic by alloxan-induced. Mice were divided into five groups consisting of negative control (Aquadest), positive control (Glibenclamide 13 mg/Kg BW), dose 1 (200 mg Gotu kola extract/kg BW), dose 2 (400 mg Gotu kola extract/kg BW), dose 2 (400 mg Gotu kola extract/kg BW), 3 (600 mg Gotu kola extract/kg BW). The results of phytochemical screening showed that the Gotu kola leaf extract was positive for flavonoids and tannins. The analysis results on the Gotu kola leaf extract showed an IC50 value of 80.58 ppm, including strong antioxidant activity. The results of the antihyperglycemic activity test showed that diabetic male white mice were found to have decreased blood sugar levels on days 14 and 21 by respectively 24.3% and 41.6%; 25.4% and 42.3%; 37.8% and 55.3% after administration of Gotu kola leaf extract at P1, P2, and P3.

Abstract

Introduction: Diabetes is one of the comorbidities that are susceptible to infection due to chronic hyperglycemia that affects immune dysfunction, where which could be prevented by increasing self-care. Self-care is increased by providing adequate education regarding the prevention of diabetes transmission, video education is believed to help facilitate the provision of information. This study aims to determine the effect of providing educational video innovations for the prevention of covid 19 infection (EPIC-19) on the self-care of diabetic patients during the pandemic. Methods: The design of this research is a quasi-experimental design with a one-group pretest-posttest design. The population in this study were all the Diabetes with ulcers in East of Denpasar District, Denpasar Regency and number of samples was 36 respondents using a consecutive sampling according to the inclusion criteria. Collecting data using a summary diabetes self care activities (SDSCA) questionnaire modified with several statements adapted to the behavior of preventing Covid-19 infection. The Questionnaire has been validity by the face validity method from two experts in the field of endocrine academic and clinical.Data analysis using Wilcoxon test with an alpha of 0.05 Results: The results showed there was an effect of giving EPIC-19 video on respondents' self-care regarding the behavior of preventing covid 19 infection, with a p-value of 0.0001 (p <0.05). Conclusion: Video is one of the media that can be used to provide health education during a pandemic. In addition to its attractive shape, video media makes it easier for patients to understand the information needed.

Abstract

Penelitin ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui hubungan dukungan keluarga dengan perilaku mencuci tangan siswa SMP Ngurah Rai Pecatu. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain analitik korelasi dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Pengambilan data dilakukan pada tanggal 21-25 Pebruari 2022. Besar sampel adalah 179 responden. Teknik sampel menggunakan non probability sampling yang direkrut menggunakan teknik total sampling. Alat pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner yanglid dan reliable serta dianalisis menggunakan uji spearmen rank rho. Jadi dapat dikatakan bahwa (median) dukungan keluarga sebesar 56.00, standar deviasi 8.870. Pada variabel perilaku mencuci tangan didapatkan (median) 10.00 dan standar deviasi 1.312. Jadi Teridentifikasi hubungan yang signifikan antara dukungan keluarga dengan perilaku mencuci tangan siswa SMP Ngurah Rai Pecatu pada masa pandemi dengan p value <0.05. Dukungan keluarga sangat berperan penting karena keluarga dapat memengaruhi memberikan informasi mengenai pandemi covid-19 khusunya pada penerapan protokol kesehatan salah satunya yaitu perilaku mencuci tangan. Semakin baik dukungan keluarga maka semakin baik juga perilaku mencuci tangan siswa SMP Ngurah Rai Pecatu pada masa pandemi. Saran dari peneliti diharapkan bagi siswa tetap mempertahankan dan meningkatkan kebiasaan yang lebih baik lagi terkait perilaku mencuci tangan pada masa pandemi covid-19 sehingga resiko penularan covid-19 dapat diminimalisir dengan cara tetap menjaga protokol kesehatan.

Abstract

Introduction: Complications due to diabetes can prevented if patients able to independently handle the disease properly. According several studies, there is a significant relationship between diabetes self-management (DSM) and glycemic control. Diabetes Self Management education (DSME) is the provision of health education by experienced medical personnel about the daily behavior of diabetics such as self-monitoring blood glucose (SMBG), diet, health care, monitoring of medication and physical activity. Objective: To understood the education response in DM patient using video approached. Methods: The design of this study used a Research and Development approach with a quasi-experimental research design pretest-posttest with control group. The research began with the making of a DSME educational video which was carried out in three stages : exploration, development and validation stages. After the video was produced, further testing was carried out to determine the effectiveness of the video in increasing knowledge of DM. Result: The analysis showed that after the intervention there was an increase in knowledge in the treatment group from 10% to 43.3% while in the control group from 13.3% to 23.3%. Chi square results p value 0.023 (p <0.05), there was a significant difference between the experiment group and the control group after intervention. Conclusion: The DSME through audio-visual media can be more effective in increasing knowledge of diabetes. The use of video as a learning medium would help someone get better information because used of interesting features, authentic and real language. Audio visual as a learning medium made it easier for nurses in diabetes as educators.

Abstract

Introduction: The pandemic due to the Covid-19 Virus has various impacts on people in the world, including Indonesia. All learning activities are carried out online, including the Clinical Skill Lab (CSL) in Medical-Surgery Nursing at ITEKES Bali. Objective: To prepare students for clinical skills, communication, physical examination, or medical procedures and invasive procedures. In teaching and learning activities, ITEKES Bali Nursing Team Lecturers use video conference media, WhatsApp group, zoom, practical learning videos and others in delivering practical subjects. This policy carried out by ITEKES would certainly affect student satisfaction in learning habits. The level of student satisfaction will be reflected in their dimensions when participating in the academic process. These dimensions include engaged learning, agency and assessment. Methods: this research employed a cross-sectional design. There were 189 students who took CSL at ITEKES Bali participated in this study. The data were analyzed by using chi-square, to analyze the dimensions of students with the level of student satisfaction. Results: The finding showed that there was a significant correlation between the student dimension and the level of student satisfaction (p 0.001) where the dimension of students who disagreed had a 3.6 times chance of being dissatisfied with online learning. Conclusion: The level of student satisfaction can be seen from the dimensions of students when participating in online learning which consists of engaged learning, agency and assessment.
