JURNAL AT-TIBYAN adalah Jurnal Ilmu Alquran dan Tafsir yang diterbitkan oleh Jur/Prodi Ilmu Alquran dan Tafsir Fakultas Ushuluddin, Adab, dan Dakwah IAIN Langsa. Jurnal ini diterbitkan dua kali dalam setahun yaitu pada bulan Juli dan Desember. Jurnal ini memiliki spesifikasi keilmiahan dan publikasi serta mengkomunikasikan hasil penelitian-penelitian para dosen dan praktisi yang berkaitan dengan ruang lingkup studi ilmu-ilmu Al-Quran dan tafsir.

<![CDATA[This article will explain about the development of philosophical interpretation from classical to modern era. The emergence of the medieval philosophical interpretation has provided a new insight into the development of interpretation. The existence of this style of philosophical interpretation is also the "gateway" of the advancement of thought in Islam. In the modern century came a new method of interpretation with a philosophical approach that is hermeneutic discourse. In the study, hermeneutical methods contain hermeneutical circles that should not be excluded one of them, namely text (text), author or author (outhor), and reader (reader) with text, context and contextualization. However, the discourse of hermeneutics has contributed greatly to the development of interpretive thought in the Islamic world. When hermeneutics is practiced in Islam. Hermeneutic interpretation not only understands the meaning of the Qur'anic text as God's word or context, but also on how the interpretation of the Qur'an as the spirit of the Muslim community to change its society for the better and the best.]]>

<![CDATA[This article will discuss hermeneutics as a new method of interpreting the Qur'an.The use of hermeneutics is a new thingin the world of interpretation. Some support and some reject it.The results of this study show that the use of hermeneutics in interpreting the Qur?an must be careful.In addition, This science should be placed as a complement, not as a subdivision of the science of interpretation. On the other hand, hermeneutics paves the way to contextualize the scriptures, so that they can dialogue in different spaces and times, as apologically desirable and held by many religious groups to their respective scriptures.]]>

<![CDATA[This article aims to understand what the concept of the infallibility of prophets and messengers by seeing some interpretations of some verses contained in the Qoran are considered as ?itâb (admonition/warning) for one of the prophets, he is the prophet Muhammad pbu. The data of this study was obtained through primary literature, it is an interpretation literature (kitab tafsir) of classic interpreter (mufassir) and some modern interpreters. This study was discussed in the descriptive-comparative analysis by using the infallibility (?ismah )theory . Initially, the writer described admonition?s verses that will be studied by comparing it with two other interpretations, and then analyzed it. Thus it was found that interpreters differed in recognizing the exictence of admonition?s verses to the prophet Muhammad pbu in the Qoran. Finally, the study has analyzed and was found that the admonitions were not for a mistake or a sin that will eliminate the infallibility attribute that had attached to him, but it was as manifestations of the compassion of Allah to the Prophet in order to not too forces his self in preaching, because however he had do all the commands of Allah to convey all of his message or revelation.]]>

<![CDATA[This article aims to discuss human concepts in the Qur'an. Allah SWT. call Human Beings in the Qur'an there are several terminologies such as basyar, insan, unas, insiy, 'imru, rajul or which contain the meaning of women such as imra'ah, nisa' or niswah or in personality traits, such as al-atqa, al-abrar, or ulul albab, also as part of social groups such as al-asyqa, dzul-qurba, al-dhu'afa who all contain instructions as human beings in their essence and humans in concrete forms. Humans are the most perfect creatures that Allah SWT has ever created. The purpose of creating humans is only to worship Allah SWT, and to become a caliph on earth.]]>

<![CDATA[This article discusses reason in the concept of the Koran. 'Aql in the Qur'an repeats as many as 49 times, except for one, all come in the form of fi'il mudhari', especially the material that continues with wawu jama'ah. Like the form of ta'qilun or ya'qilun. The verb ta'qilun is repeated 24 times and the verb ya'qilun is 22 times. Whereas, the verbs' aqala, na'qilu, and ya'qilu each have one time. The concept of the Qur?an regarding the best nafs is to refer to the human side in a potentially good way, resulting in good behavior. In the sense of a positive nafs who can always control himself from his desires to goodness. Not a few verses in the Qur?an that encourage humans to maintain the sanctity of lust and not dirty it.
